i have a theory that richie might be a closeted queer man. i already began to suspect this from his *many* homophobic jokes and exaggerated machismo attitude, but that brief tension-filled moment between him and “Phil” in the birthday party episode solidified it for me. i think richie and phil may have had a thing in the past hence why richie could barely look him in the eye when he was standing next to uncle cicero. if i’m right about this... i hope we get to explore richie’s sexuality and backstory more in the second season. ALSO, was anyone getting mildly weird flirty vibes between richie and fak????
