"The snow storm is coming," Masha would say towards Derward as she boarded up the front door of the extremely run down cabin. Shoving an old wardrobe against the door, she felt a bit better knowing that the wind would not knock through the door and end the two of their lives from hypothermia. Cursing under her breath in Russian, she would fling some things around out of her backpack. Canned food, a few blankets that were mainly throws only big enough to cover you half way. "The windows will not hold up more than likely. They are hanging on by a thread." Grabbing the blankets, she pinned them to the windows. "We must stay in an interior room. Away from the wind. Come," she motioned grabbing the last blanket to sit in the hallway. "Hungry?" She held out a can of peaches.

Tranquil moments were few and far between for the Intelligence Officer. So much so, that she had fallen into a habit of savoring every moment spent with Jake Crockett.

Vanessa is content to lose herself in him; in every sense of the word. Laying, with his head in her lap, she drags her nimble fingers through his silky strands, over and over. The sensation of hair slipping between those same fingers is so endlessly calming that she starts to braid and unbraid the closest section. His inquiry, it causes her to abruptly pause mid-way through a section. "I-- I'm sorry. Do -- do you want me to stop, Mi Vida y Mi Corizon?"

Are you SURE you are still wanting to come with me?" She is going to be leading Miraz's troops on a chase through the woods, hopefully buying the Narnian armies a little MORE time to regroup and recover from the first disastrous assaults.

So stomping on a suitors toes and pushing him into a fountain hadn't gotten glossed over by the press. "What am I supposed to do Jacquimo? Her shoulders droop in defeat. She dips her fingers into the basket of fries she'd bought and offers him a few.

"I'm a disaster. A -- clumsy, try to hard, mess." A huff is forcibly expelled from Mia's lungs as her gaze coasted their surroundings. "Don't birds, you know, fly away or something when things get -- hard? I don't know." Her hand gently nudges the back of her hat.

(Mia) Would you rather + only form of transportation- Ride sidesaddle on a horse or ride a high wheel bicycle like the one Nicholas' grandfather had?

Mia finds herself instantly swallowing at both equally as unpleasant options. "Well, you see," she starts, swallowing down a bundle of nerves with no ease, "coordination and I-- aren't exactly friends." As if the observation hadn't been increasingly apparent by her less than triumphant ride at the parade. Despite the fact that it was her horse that had gotten spooked, and had not been a fault of her own, Mia still assigned herself the blame. "I-- I'm not sure riding a -- a bicycle that high is really a good idea." She murmurs, lacking even basic confidence in herself and her abilities.

Leaning into Wonka, she asks, "is neither an option? I really feel like neither should be the option given my complete lack of hand-eye corrdination. You see, I'm really just-- better off driving." Good, good. A smooth change of subject. "Uh- have --- have I shown you my baby?" And Mia prayerfully hopes the deployment of a change in the subject will help her cause; if only by several degrees. @ricketybcnts
