pleasehelp us stay off the streets

Is the only thing that matters in this country if someones gay or being bullied? I JUST turned 21 recently and am already facing the father of my child (my bf) and his father ending up on the streets. he works 6 days a week 2 jobs, his disabled father is on disability AND has a FT job (40 hours a week) and only makes 39 cents an hour... we are not surviving out here we are drowning and begging for people to look into their heart and donate anything they can to help even pocket change would help us at this point. we are having to buy gallons of water just to flush our toilets. please. if we can just get his water and gas paid off and make the deposit for an apartment wed be okay... NO apartment will accept him if he has outstanding utility bills... please 🙏🏻 we are not the kind of people to beg on the street the only option left is to separate and my bf will potentially end up homeless or living out of his car. we are good people whove done everything we can to prevent this happening but we had no idea how bad off his dad was and now were responsible for him also ON TOP OF having an infant daughter. we are humble and accepting of any financial help, if you cant even donate a quarter we understand, please just share or give my blog a shotout so maybe someone who can help will see it.

I have put my life on hold and NOT because of having a daughter at 20 with my boyfriend. i havent even been to college yet and i want it so bad. But because my old apartment introduced me to bedbugs and a highly fluctuating water bill despite rarely showering or washing dishes. I lost the apartment. my boyfriend couldnt keep up with the constantly increasing bills (we were paying 830-840$ for a 600 something sqft one bedroom one bath apartment). Now. We were already living without hot water, but his dad was unable to pay the water bill leaving us to have to run to my parents each week to refill gallons of jugs just to flush the toilets. We have been to all the government places, called all of the numbers and were just sent to another place or given another number. our housing list has been closed since 2015, so there is no chance of even being put ON the list to even be possibly moved up let alone SEEN by section 8 housing. on top of this? his ex-in laws have literally (as in, im not exaggerating) kidnapped his youngest son and he cant go to the police because of our living situation the court would take his son anyway.

I can feel the stress of possible homelessness looming over us. Almost like a blanket, it is heavy and everywhere, making me claustrophobic. The intimacy between my boyfriend and I has dwindled down to what we can just manage to keep each other from breaking under the pressure but I see it, and feel it every night when the void of night leaves too much space in between our thoughts.

This is too much for 20 something year olds. this is too much for anyone. this is a lifetime of struggle and i havent even had the chance to try and conquer my own life yet.

We know the internet has no reason to offer us help, and after that woman lied about her son being bullied, we know no one has any reason to trust us but we are begging please if 12,000 people donate just 25¢, or even if we could just meet a fraction of our goal it would mean the difference between my family ending up homeless or not. Im not here for drama or to bother anyone, if you cant donate, please just share in case someone else can. I would NEVER do this unless I had no other option I suffer from really bad generalized anxiety, so to post my picture or explain our story is extremely agonizing for me, my hands have been sweaty and cold since i posted the gofundme in fear that someone I know will find it and ridicule me. I have asked family for help and was straight ignored or just told no with no explanation, my parents are mentally ill and even though they always have a spot for me (they have 2 spare bedrooms and a recliner + couch in the living room) they refuse to take in my bf and would definitely refuse his elderly, and disabled father. This is really and truly our only hope… asking strangers for help to keep us off the streets/out of the few, still available, shelters which are all very dangerous. A backstory about myself is my father sexually abused me, my mother was raped and sexually abused. They are still married even after seeing proof of my father’s sickness because he threatened to kill himself. My mother is codependent, clinically depressed and has ADD, shes also verbally abusive, very un-selfaware, as in… she will scream and yell even if Im sobbing begging her to just leave me alone.

My bf, our 5 month old daughter, and his disabled, elderly father are all facing homelessness right now. my parents refuse to allow my bf to stay with them, but always have an open spot for me … as you can see it is not a safe or healthy environment for me to go back to, alone, with my daughter especially knowing my bf, whom I love dearly, and his father are facing being homeless on the streets. There are NO openings in any family shelters. Section 8 housing list has been closed since 2015 here, we tried. There are women only and men only shelters but both are equally dangerous, it is common to have stuff stolen from you, youre not allowed to have your phone after curfew and its hard to find openings during the colder season which is fast approaching. We currently live in a war zone where even the police dont go because of all the crackheads, shootouts and gangs. If we dont receive help very soon we will be separated and I dont know if we will ever be okay again. My bf father had a stroke at 2 and is now unable to move his entire left side, his arm and leg have atrophied and contractured. He STILL goes to work 5 days a week 8 hours a day only to make 30$ every two weeks. My bf works 2 jobs, 6 days a week 6-8 hour shifts and has had to walk and bus to work and home when we cant afford to put gas in the car. I stay home with our daughter because i have no one I can trust to watch her (thats available) and we cant afford to pay anyone anyway. We have tried everything in our power to avoid asking for help but now we are living without water (i go to my parents to care for my child and refill jugs so to toilets can even be flushed at my bf’s dad’s house, the electrical wiring is shotty and to top it off the house is about to be foreclosed on. Basically, we have done everything we could and this is the absolute last resort before we are removed from this house and they face the streets. PLEASE. Literally anything will help, I am ashamed to ask for help but our family has turned us away/cant help, most of my family straight up ignored my texts… we have no where else to turn. Also, I cant share this on facebook because, as ive said.. my family has refused to help and I dont want to face the humiliation of a lot of strangers and people i knew back in middle school knowing how hard weve fallen if they have no intention of helping anyway.
