i think there’s a possibility that riku (being slightly older than sora) actually remembers the meteor shower & giving sora the necklace

and i imagine this reveal happening with riku telling the story the same way repliku did, with the same dialogue and everything

I'm bored so here we go.

Destiny Island trio:

Sora:

Race: Halfling (he definitely has halfling luck)

Background: Entertainer (now hear me out, Sora is defiantly the funny friend, he is the glue between Kairi and Riku and the two of them mostly bond over Sora's antics.)

Class: Divine Soul Sorcerer (The Divine soul being Ventus, soundly sleeping within Sora, leaking experience to Sora in the early games)

Kairi:

Race: Aasimar (as the princess of heart she has some very celestial vibe)

Background: Far traveller (should be explanatory)

Class: Collage of Creation Bard (Bard because she does a good job playing the role of damsel in distress, I choose to believe its an act and she is just lazy (one can't be friends with both Sora and Riku and still be so useless), Creation because of her weird heart magic that brought Sora back in KH1.)

Riku:

Race: Elf (Riku has big Elf vibe)

Background: Folk Hero (He was clearly the strongest on the island (unless you were a mad man and beat him in the beginning of KH1))

Class: Warlock with a Fathomless pact (Riku pacted with the dark in KH1 which is his biggest hurdle were he almost lost himself but became one of his biggest strength when he proved he could balance both light and dark.)

The main Trio is a very vanilla classical DND party with feels appropriate.

Ok but when Hira goes up to touch Kiyoi after he said that he doesn’t wanna understand Kiyoi and Kiyoi IMMEDIATELY pushing his hand away is so powerful. We’ve seen Kiyoi be violent before in the season but never because of Hira’s touch. In the last episode of season one Kiyoi says to Hira that if he still sees him the way he saw him before (like a god who’s unreachable) then he can’t touch him. Hira admitting that he stills thinks like that and not seeing the problem in it to the point that he still tries to touch Kiyoi is the moment Kiyoi realises with the way things are going right now their relationship is doomed. Hira trying to touch him the way he so specifically told him not to was his last straw and made him give up.

the most we have is Nomura saying that Riku doesn't like Naminé so he changes the scene so he is not smiling

i’ve been curious for quite awhile now, so i’ll shoot - that one pink doodle sheet you did for sora, with the kh4 hairstyle, where did that sora with the dark shadowy (i’m assuming something like anti form going on) come from? it seems like such a neat thing and i’m interested in your thoughts!!

Yeah! I might have mentioned it in a previous ask, but I desire so much to see sora to really deal with his darkness, and everything else he's stomped down now that his heart is free of those who needed saving. Now he's only left with his own hurt to sit on instead of everyone else's, and I doubt he's gonna be able to ignore it for much longer, especially after what's been hinted at in KH3 and previous titles. I also wanna see it manifest in more kick-ass ways like rage form. I mean the bloody footprints and darkness tentacles??? more freak shit!!! sign me up!!! and AND with Riku at some point joining up with Sora, it would be a fantastic opportunity to have Riku be some sort of mentor for him through all of it. The series has been so consistent in showing us how good he is in providing guidance in a way sora can understand and trust. How his voice can reach sora through even the deepest layers of sleep/darkness. We've even seen a few times now that Riku's especially empathic towards how Sora feels without having to look at him. Plus the "if only sora listened to master yen sid the way he listens to riku..." line I mean c'mon!!! His resume is STAMPED. anyway YEAH that's why I drew it! :D TLDR: I think sora's in for a bad time with the upcoming installments, and I will suffer and I will be happy about it!
