#writing stuff#word count#june 2022#sure 20k of that was fic but words are words and stories are valuable even when they’re free#and I’m one scene away from being 1/4 done with a book#rip second book you got no love in June. we’ll fix that soon#(before anyone comments on the ‘fic is still good bit’—fic is AMAZING. it’s valuable and gorgeous and I’m so proud of my work)#(but I don’t have a job right now and I refuse to market fic. so any day I don’t work on original novels feels a bit ‘oof’)#(doesn’t mean I won’t! doesn’t mean I’ll ever sell these books! but I gotta at least focus on writing ‘em or I’ll never know)#(that’s all that means)
