EMIYA (Archer) and Lancer Artoria - It's literally just the Canon Shirou x Artoria but the thing is, the two would be depicted as the older versions of both.

Ritsuka x Gudako - I like to imagine the two of them are close friends before joining Chaldea and thus have this little romantic tension between both of them but they've yet to address it properly.

Roman x Da Vinci - They're literally the team parents, bonus points for their VAs for being married IRL with a Kid

Ritsuka x Mash - Definitely the canon love interest

Kadoc x Gudako - I like to imagine that the two got closer during his time in Chaldea and have this like enemies to lovers dynamic with her, so the two would have this on-and-off banter while secretly caring for one another

•Okay look you love gudako no actually you adored her

•You just wish she would chill the hell out when it comes to her addiction with Gacha

•You don't know what genius thought it was a good idea to assign star ranking to servants but you were going to murder them

•Thankfully you had a fairly easy time reigning in gudako in regards to Gacha

•At least compared to when mash or her twin Gudao tried to reign her in

•A lot of the time you had to put your body on the line to stop her given that she's on the perverted side unlike her twin Gudao

• But even that had limits since her gacha addiction ran strong

•At times you would try to get her to focus on strengthening the servants she's already summoned

•Or to try to max out her bonds with them

•Though that brought on other problems when she ended up with favorites that she kinda goes crazy for

•Its hard to keep Gudako from going to crazy and it's hard to provide alternatives but you can't deny that it's a part of gudako that you love

Oberon tightens his hold on Ritsuka, smiling into her red-orange hair, "Have you thought about it then?"

Ritsuka wasn't quite frowning but its close. Her hand on top of Oberon's clawed one tugs a little on the edge of his sleeve, to let her breathe a little more.

"You mean your... proposal?"

She bites the inside of her cheek, a blush tints her cheeks, thankful that her Pretender was behind her instead of in front of her. "What even happens if we fall into the abyss anyways?"

His disappointed sigh is what makes her heart jump in her ribcage, as he knew fully well something she herself doesn't know.

"You really have to ask me that?" He pinches the inside of her thigh with his normal hand before letting it rest there. "What, are you excited to know how we'll be together?"

Ritsuka groans his name, struggling a little to get out of his iron grip, "Oberooon, just answer-"

But he silences her when he moves to bite her cheek, which she yelps at, "Shit. Your whining is annoying." Yet he smile looked far too wide and happy for him to feel that way.

"In any case," Oberon goes back to nuzzling her hair, his hands this time moving to tighten right around her chest, beneath her breasts.

"All things that fall into the abyss shall be in a neverending dream," His mouth moves downwards, brushing past her ear, her cheek, his breath ghosting her jaw-

"-And shall fall endlessly," Her breath caught in her throat, all Ritsuka could do was close her eyes shut and let him do what he wanted.

One of her hands were grasped- his dark clawed hand cups the back of her hand and with it-

A familiar weight had appeared.

She opens her eyes just as Oberon presses his lips just below her ear-

"-Eventually turning to dust."

Her hand trembles from seeing void dust in her hands.

Her heart picks up the pace, her blush reddens to the point where it reaches the tips of her ears.

His laughter this time was louder as she herself was surprised by what he had meant. "Didn't I tell you when I gave you that Valentine's gift?"

His voice lowers down to a whisper, as if meant to make sure only she could hear, "It's something that suits us, Master."

All she could do was just curse in her head, silently staring at the purple dust in her hands.

What was he saying? Did he seriously want the both of them to become one?

To aim for the nonexistent bottom of the abyss as she calls his name in her deathbed, to be held as she did not die alone nor suffer alone-

Ritsuka would never in her life admit it but the notion of it has her heart crying out for a death so sweet as Oberon's proposal.

Ritsuka can hear her stomach churning, her throat drying at the single spark coming out from the summoning circle. Her chest is pounding uncomfortably, as her eyes are locked on the glowing figure, her new servant.

You might be wondering why she is getting on the edge about this. The reason is simple. She simply does not want to meet this servant again, not after what she had vowed to herself.

She will not let her heart fall for a Servant again.

Not after she has seen by her own eyes how complex and rich their history and past lives can be. They were their own people before they became her servant, she cannot erase their story. She cannot force herself into their narrative. They were not supposed to even meet in the first place. Normally, she would be able to suppress these ugly, selfish feelings.

But with him,

She wants him all to herself.

“Saber, Bedivere. In the name of the King, I shall become your Servant, Master.”

Her heavy eyes immediately search for his emerald green eyes. She misses those pair dearly, since she knows that it holds deep kindness and compassion, but his utmost sincere gaze is only reserved for his King. She knows that he does not smile around the presence of his Kind out of conscience, it is because he was truly happy to finally be exchanging glances with her.

On the other hand, he only does it out of respect and being polite when he is with her. Like right now.

She raises her head that has been weighing on the floor to face him. Her lips curled ever so slightly, in a pained, forced way as to hide her own hurt.

His beauty however, never fail to impress her. From his long light blond hair, similar to Artoria’s, right down to his kind smile, it aches her heart because those can never be hers.

“Nice to meet you, Saber, Bedivere. I am Master Ritsuka,” she greets him with a fake, friendly smile as she offers her hand for a handshake.

He returns her gesture by drawing out his cold, metal hand (that she loves) to shake her hand. And it is like as if she is dreaming, because she can swear that she feels his hand gently squeezing hers. She loses all self-control and her ego as she stares into his eyes, asking for explanation.

“Do you remember me?”
