A list of FGO Ships and why I like them

EMIYA (Archer) and Lancer Artoria - It's literally just the Canon Shirou x Artoria but the thing is, the two would be depicted as the older versions of both.

Ritsuka x Gudako - I like to imagine the two of them are close friends before joining Chaldea and thus have this little romantic tension between both of them but they've yet to address it properly.

Roman x Da Vinci - They're literally the team parents, bonus points for their VAs for being married IRL with a Kid

Ritsuka x Mash - Definitely the canon love interest

Kadoc x Gudako - I like to imagine that the two got closer during his time in Chaldea and have this like enemies to lovers dynamic with her, so the two would have this on-and-off banter while secretly caring for one another

Now I get why there’s so much Gudako x Daybit fanart btw not that there’s even a need for it since people will always draw their self inserts with some random fgo chara like that

But Daybit is nicer to you in lb7 if you pick the female master

Hello! If it's not a problem, I would like to ask about Gudao/Patxi or Gudao/Kadoc headcanons. I've seen some content with Gudako, but I rarely see anything from Gudao, hope you have a nice day!

Headcanons eh? Despite the blog picture I never really considered any Patxi ships, but I’ll give some of my thoughts!

Initially I think a relationship with someone like Gudao would just be unusual for Patxi. It’s considered an anomaly in lostbelt russia to care for your sickly mother. I can imagine that he’d be used to most relationships being more transactional, and Gudao would have to reassure him that he doesn’t need to prove himself as a good hunter or anything like that. Although despite that I have no doubt Patxi would still be loving, he’s a gentle soul.

Gudao x Kadoc I actually really like, although I ironically think it would be a lot more tremulous. There’d probably be a lot of feelings of envy, with Gudao having to reassure Kadoc often, especially since if they’re in a relationship most likely Kadoc would constantly be seeing people value Gudao as the master in Chaldea. I actually think it would end up relatively similar to how Anastasia and Kadoc are portrayed in the crypter manga.

An excerpt from a set of painfully sincere conversations. You finally get to tell your story to someone that would actually listen. Someone who could relate to you. With late night snacks raided from the kitchen, the topic of tonight was "what happened to Seraphix".

"You've got to be fucking kidding me!" Kadoc shot up to his feet. Behind him, the Chaldea Master leapt forward to catch the bowl of popcorn from being knocked over in his outburst. They both knew it was rhetorical, of course, he wasn't lashing out at them.

Kadoc paced the room, biting on his fingernail. The information tumbled around in his head tortuously but refused to take hold.

Coffins. Dead bodies. Harvesting.

The image was painted so vividly in his head, like he could have been locked in himself. Kept in the space between living and dead, only being preserved for the energy their circuits could provide. A whole cemetery of failed masters powered the rig. The planetarium was authorized by Director Marisbury himself - his name was on it! 

— There were these strange pods lining the walls. It didn't take long to realize that people were inside… they weren't even alive anymore…

His eyes glanced over the bed, the sight making him pause in his tracks. His junior balled up with their chin on their knees. The pitiful sight of them swimming in their oversized sweater reminded him just how young they truly were. 

He quietly sat back down on the bed, his knee bumped against their thigh when he settled with his back against the wall. The adrenaline had started to settle but his hands were still shaking. 

He cleared his throat. "How many?"

"One hundred twenty-eight." 

Almost three times more than the original forty-eight Chaldea Masters. His hands balled into fists. 

"That could have been…" Deep breath in, hold, slowly exhale. "That could have been us."

Kadoguda doujin!!! By wani! I’ve been wanting to get a kadoguda doujin because they’re like so criminally underrated. Like enemies to Allie’s to friends to lovers.
