Spend a week at the livingroom saving heating as I was house/cat sitting and actually got some drawing done to finalize Rhan, here is some of the spoils.

His progression from the no self esteem 'don't look at me I'm a freak' to confident 'I literally couldn't give a fuck ' is a fun one to work with. Not always fun for Seie tho.

edit; not sure how but I forgot about his Livirian accent, its literally just fucking German. Because I love it and it suits the Dieslepunk theme of the Konstantine society. I do not plan to use it in writing tho, but it remains fun in one shot comics and drawings

current design is shaping up nicely. I like the feel of this, it still looks like it has his military look but blends better with the non Livirian side of Erthas that has a more medieval look. His original cloths do not survive the escape so this is not a Livirian outfit. But if he where to get back inside he wouldn't entirely stand out like a sore thumb like most of the rest of the group. I have yet to draw the height chard to see how much Rhan sticks out like the actual sore thumb between all of them.

I think he'll do okay.

like the feets, ditched the footthumb it was a constant irritation to draw. New tail tip as well.

Here‘s the Ramones in Arnhem, Netherlands, September 16, 1978.

It was the second time the Ramones toured the Netherlands, and it was obvious their previous visit in 1977 with five shows throughout the country had quite an impact on the dutch kids.

For Marky Ramone, this tour marked his first European trip with his new band. He had replaced Tommy Ramone in May 1978 - just in time to record his first album with the Ramones, „Road To Ruin“.

Well the good news is I've been drawing and getting to a point where I'm reasonable happy with how things look. I'm trying to move my business to the Samsung tablet I bought a few years ago for that purpose. Its a fun toy. I should use it more often, and I'm actually capable of drawing on it what wasn't the case with the 10 inch Ipad. (god I hate that thing fff)

The bad news is that I don't really have anything to share, I finally did finish the ref so I could start on the figurine if I wanted too, but Rhan looks so god damn bored I'm not even sure if I can share it. It fills its purpose thats true, but jfc. Everything is boringggg...

I'm also just incredibly tempted to rename Valrai back into Rhan. And do some dumb shit with all his names as I'm trying to fit Adalmar to its role. Originally Rhan founds Adalmar, I might not do that now, but rather have him inherit it from Elvirian roots. That makes him a noble what is ... really funny considering everything.

I don't know. Thers just this feeling of recognition towards Rhan as a name, I'm still quite fond of it. I did realize I made a huge error in his naming, especially since he's been adopted as a kid by Zerche Haugher, his last name should technically be Haugher as well, not just Triscott but Triscott Haugher. Oh dear. So his Livirian officially documented name would be Valrai Varrick Rhan Tricott Haugher. The fun part, this isn't even taking in account his original name Alromea Somalro Hudaya, thats supposed to be there ,somewhere as its a link to his actual heritage.

I love names yo.

This unintentionally opens a very fun can o worms for the story since Zerche is one of the main villains. It won't be big tho, they are not blood related and that's all to obvious, but its still a nice 'ho shit' moment.

I'm just not sure if that moment happens before or after Rhan gets his ingenious idea of sneaking off, braking into Zerche's office alone, thus meeting the consequences of his irrational vengeance fueled anger. Only to have to be dragged back to HQ as he got shred to pieces and ends up crippled, with a new understanding that his 'past' is still more powerful than him.

Aaaaaaaand the fact thats hes an absolute moron for even attempting it. They will definitely know after tho.
