The MORETTA™ satin SERIES (70%-79%) WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED TO ENROBE OUR dark chocolate TRUFFLES. This superior grade dark chocolate with its higher cacao butter content (42-48%), has a creamier and smoother mouth feel than the typical dark CHOCOLATE and IS MILDER IN TERMS OF THE acidity and bitterness. This batch is made with cacao from the following regions:  22.24% Ivory coast, 27.29% Peru, 16.37% Ecuador & 34.11% SELEUSS-proprietary blend.

INGREDIENTS: chocolate (cacao beans, Cacao butter, sugar, sunflower & soy LECITHIN, vanilla), roasted cacao nibs (cacao beans).

CONTAINS: SOY. This product is processed in a facility that contains milk, eggs, wheat, PISTACHIOS, almonds, peanuts, cashews and other nuts.   

STORAGE: Please store chocolate BAR in THE ACCOMPANIED ZIPPEd POUCH, between 54-61°F (~12-16°C), in a dark and dry place, preferably in a wine cooler.  Standard refrigerator is fine.  PREPARATION: For best results, please allow chocolate BAR to equalize to room temperature of between 68-72°F (~20-22°C) for approximately 5-15 minutes; depending on ambient room temperature and in an airtight environment to prevent moisture condensation on the surface of the chocolate BAR.

SELEUSS - Disco-Volante - Orange Slices

SELEUSS, SEATTLE, JUNE 19, 2019:  Introducing our new { Disco Volante }™ line of chocolate barks.  The Chocolates comes in our full line of fine chocolates, from 40%+ Bauta White Chocolates, 40%+ OdalisqueBlonde, 60%+ Colombina, to 74%+ Moretta and all the way to the XOCO 100%. These barks will be made with a variety of our favorite toppings, such as; Cacao Nibs, Californian Almonds, Spanish Marcona Almonds, Washington and Oregon Hazelnuts, Blueberries, Cherries, Sliced Oranges and more!  

Batch #945 comes in three different varieties: 945B: topped with roasted cacao nibs, 945C: topped with sweetened and dried orange slices, and 945D: in 74% Moretta SATIN plain. 

This new chocolate bark series is named after the ship Disco Volante in the James Bond 007 film Thunderball in 1962.

The Disco Volante (from Italian meaning “Flying Disc” or “Flying Saucer”) was a fictional luxury hydrofoilyacht owned by SPECTRE operative Emilio Largo. The vessel first appeared in Ian Fleming’s 1962 novel Thunderball and was later featured in its 1965 James Bond film adaptation of the same name.
