Small but Mighty: The Gear Motor Changing the Robotics Game
Robots are becoming smarter, more compact, and more powerful than ever—and at the heart of this evolution is the compact gear motor. Just because it’s small doesn’t mean it lacks strength.
From collaborative robots to autonomous delivery bots and warehouse automation systems, compact drive technology is reshaping how robots move, work, and interact with the world. But what makes these small components such a big deal?
In our latest blog post, we break down the rising demand for compact gear motors in robotics and how BonSystems’ BSR reducers and BCSA smart actuators are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in tight spaces.
Curious how compact can still mean powerful? 🤖[Why the Robotics Industry Is Turning Its Eyes to Compact Gear Motors]

Gunframe Mech Concept
Please note that some of the Osprey Mobile Suit SVG Set, particularly within the Adobe Illustrator files, may not display the entire image due to the application of a clipping mask. This custom Gunframe Mobile Suit design is heavily inspired by the legendary Gundam series—a franchise that has captivated me since my childhood. I have a deep admiration for the incredible craftsmanship and creativity of its original creators, and this work reflects that passion. Check out the other Gunframe Designs here. Week 11 - Element of Fear
I have limited alchemical and thaumaturgic knowledge. But I know that all the surrounding matter comprises chemical elements interacting with magical fields and particles. Apparently, on other planes, unique elements exist. From the ravaging planes of evil, bold gnomish explorers brought back a hitherto unknown element. Striking profound fear into the heart of anyone looking, they aptly called it ‘element of fear’ and designated it the three letter symbol ‘Ono’! Curious as we gnomes are, the Tinker Toll R&D department promptly set out to explore applications for the new element. The most distinguished schools for training heros are constantly looking for new teaching tools. So they designed one of their bio-mechanical and magical dragons, made of Ono. Aiming to create the most fearsome creature, they constructed it as a tool to toughen up the heroes in training, teaching them methods to control their fear. But the biological components turned out to be the breaking point of the design. While the Ono worked just fine on the outside, it also upset the inside. The dragon’s behavior ruined the intended fearsomeness, as it tried to hide from everything, trembling in deadly terror! Only the most empathic of Tinker Toll’s employees can attend the poor prototype.
