Torch Man [Instrumental] (Mega Man 11 [2018])

When I 1st heard this, it felt like I was thrown into some nighttime campfire mystery story where the supernatural lies in the woods nearby; the kind of stuff that no doubt inspired Gravity Falls. The stage is also themed around just that; nighttime woods with tents, wooden structures, even a campfire!

The way the Piano takes the lead melody supplemented by those pleasant Strings, has never been more satisfying, and one of the main reasons it’s a top favorite in my eyes! I so wish the Instrumental music DLC spanned the entire soundtrack instead of just the 8 Robot Master stages, it would’ve become one of my most favorite Mega Man soundtracks in that scenario!

Still, like most Mega Man games, I really enjoyed this one, it’s one of the easiest entries if you’re using the Power/Speed Gears, but just as challenging as usual for those using the bare minimum arsenal, such as me!

It also happens to be the highest-selling Classic Mega Man game after Mega Man 2, a well-deserved title, given how primitive Mega Man 2 is in comparison to just about every game that came after it; if you love any Mega Man game, try the others, not just Mega Man 2, I 99% guarantee you’ll find a more complete experience somewhere in the MANY choices available!

Going live with Megaman 11! It's going to be a great time as we finally wrap up the classic Megaman series. A note I will be playing with the Japanese VA, because of course I will be. It just sounds nicer. Come chill and listen to amazing music and to watch me fail at platforming.

Mega Man 11 - Best seller

This year it became number 1 in sale numbers of the series. Beating Mega Man 2 in second after being top seller over 30 years. This is something I want to talk about a little. This is not a question do you like 11 or not. This is more about that if it really took this long that other Mega Man title sells more than NES game is kinda bizarre. There were already many games that are well made and had interesting stories. Yet somehow it took this long to happen. Objectivily MM2 is ok game in my book and I like other titles better. But I'm not gonna shit on MM2 today. Most important about this that it sends Capcom a message. "Oh seems like people are getting interested Mega Man more now? Maybe we should make more." That is the key point to any kinda series to get future. Most likely it's gonna be MM 12. But still since in MM 11 they add more story elements and talked about past of Wily and Light and even Light wondering if there was a way to talk to Wily other way... I also want to point out that this was first classic MM title after Inafune left and made his own bizarre game. This new team really proved themselfs by evolving graphics and story but didn't sacrifice speed and tight gameplay what players expect. Since I remember this was they one goal to reach referencing MM7 and MM8 where Mega Man went slower movement. But yeah I'am glad MM 11 is now top seller of franchise and hopefully it will introduce series for more new fans.

I don't post that often anymore... but I'm not dead! Lately I've been drawing classic mega man weapons in the MM11 style. But as a stylistic choice, I decided to keep the classic NES colors too. (Especially since back in the day, multiple robot masters would share a primary color).

These are the weapons I'd usually go for first when playing 1-5 (pretending 1 is the powered up version.)

As a bonus... I have a few fangame weapons too. So far Rock force, Unlimited, SFR, Dr Wily's Final Attack, and Rocks! Are being represented. With Scorching spear being my stylized Redesign version of the weapon.
