“have you skated before?” victor asked, unable to help himself as he turned towards the other man near the rink. he had barely been off the ice since arriving at the market, perhaps a testament to how much he missed it these days, but he also liked getting other people involved, seeing them try it out. “it’s really not that hard as long as you have just a slight sense of balance. i don’t know why people will be nervous to give it a shot.” he said with a short laugh.

a sigh left her lips as she ran a hand over her face. sidney was still trying to play catch up with everything she had missed and making sure that everyone was alright. "I hate this place, it's nothing but chaos."

having silver hair was a blessing and a curse. for starters, tommy thought it was cool. the downfall was that he didn’t want to be on camera on anywhere. the boy with silver hair and silver eyes could be considered a freak if someone caught him running, which was in no way considered normal. then again, he wasn’t sure his hair could ever grow grey from stress which was considered a win to him.  he takes a breath knowing that he was in public so he has to be casual. he doesn’t trust people, he never really has - and with his powers which he never understood anything about, he figured it was best to stay under the radar.  “do you know what time it is?” tommy asks to someone near him, throwing himself down on the bench and staring at his dead phone. the thing about being fast was that he could run to get a charger but it wouldn’t make the charging any faster. he didn’t even have a charger on him and tommy found himself frustrated. “more importantly, do you have a phone charger i can borrow?” he’s missing something, he’s quick to realize it. he bites his lip, concentrates on thinking and then adds a ‘please’ a few seconds after asking. // @impcrfct

pietro despised the slow life. having to walk around. he preferred to sped everywhere he went. but there were the times that he had to dumb it down for a while. not knowing the kind of world he found himself in. he was sitting on a bench, waiting for what felt like forever for a bus to arrive. thankfully someone interrupted his thoughts. he pulled out his phone, ready to give him the answer when he also asked for a charger. finally pietro looked up from his phone to see who the familiar voice belonged to. he was overjoyed to see his nephew sitting next time. though he didn’t want to run into the same problem he’d had with being overly excited with billy. “tommy??” pietro asked to just make sure.
