The Oblivion Persuasion minigame is absolutely Fascinating. Not For anything in the execution of the game itself but for people's reactions to it. I've seen people Vehemently Hate this system so much, They Just don't get it or they skill issue so hard that they just ignore it entirely and rely on charm spells or bribes. And on the other side are people that just Get it. They just intuitively understand the system and either like it or find it fine. Very few people really love it but they enjoy it. I'm very much in the later camp and it's so interesting to see how people in the hater camp try to explain their struggle, or how people in the understander camp struggle to explain the minigame in a way they can understand. This is Especially notable in the Remake where they Made the Game even easier with colour coding! and people still dont get it?? From My perspective it feels like they have to be willfully choosing not to get it?

I've generally stopped doing coding streams over the Year or So I've Done Streaming. I found it very hard to maintain focus and entertainment value during them, which was Kind of a problem when the Point of them was to make me work on stuff while sharing the projects with people in a Fun and interesting way. But I still want to work on my coding projects! I have a Few Ideas I'm pretty excited about even if I don't get to them to often. So I'm thinking as a new way to get some feedback and attention on my coding projects I could do Weekly Devlogs or General Updates on my tumblr here and Mini-Logs on my Bluesky! Would people be Interested in that?

Weekly-ish Update 1

The Oblivion Remaster is the one thing keeping me sane in this Terrifying time. Special Shout Out to the Ghosts of Tamriel Mod! That Has Been The best thing to just Enjoy while roaming so far. In Other Gaming News Infinity Nikki Update 1.5 launched around the same time, and Wow it SUCKS. It has some really good merits people have been waiting for like a multiplayer system, and a dye system. It is however, horrifically unstable and glitchy. I've seen it crash on multiple people, I've gotten stuck in multiplayer Limbo, the gacha model is becoming increasingly F2P player hostile. It also took a couple days for the JP voices to be made available at all. It's just very sad for a series I've really loved for a long time. In Coding News I've Done Very Little. I have dipped my toes into the Oblivion remaster modding scene but could not actually figure out how to do the mod I wanted with the tools I had available. I also Looked at the Luck Be a Landlord Mod I was working on a while ago again. Really should finish that up. The Concept for the LBAL mod being a chicken and goose mini-overhaul that also adds Foxes, Working Title Was "Fox in the Coop" In Health News I've Been Fucking Tired. I've Been having a lot more Chronic Pain Flare Ups Lately and Cannot wait for my Doctor's appointment to get here. Until then I am Ow :(
