yes i know it’s been days. i’m in school what do you want from me. 

so far we’ve got mikey, raph, leo, donnie, april, sunita, cassandra, and splinter. figured i’d switch gears a bit and do a villain specific one! (draxum, shredder and the krang will be their own post. there’s a solid amount of villains without them and i plan on splitting draxum by baron draxum and barry draxum and also shredder based on the shredder at the end of season 1/beginning of season 2 and the shredder at the end of season 2)

hypno!

i really like hypno. was NOT expecting coran’s voice to come out of him when i first met him but it adds to his charm. i love his whole character. he is the villain ever. 

hypno is a corruption-marked spiral avatar with some stranger thrown in there for funsies! i feel like in the tma-verse he would start up as a spiral avatar given his whole magician schtick. the stranger comes from his illusion abilities and that one episode dedicated to the 80s fashion montages aka the best episode ever. 

and you can’t have hypno without warren stone!

warren is so fucking funny to me. the only person who ever remembers him is his boyfriend and we love him for that. i want to kick him into the sun. 

warren is a corruption-marked stranger avatar with some lonely sprinkled in there! i am entirely giving him stranger vibes because literally no one remembers him, but on a more serious note i feel like that really fucks with him sometimes (which is the lonely part). there’s no way it wasn’t jarring going from a renowned news reporter to fucking forgotten in like two seconds. even meat sweats is remembered for his cooking legacy. sounds like a certain rat person huh. (except instead of letting it get him depressed warren turned his bitterness into a weapon. good for him. gay people amirite)

speaking of meat sweats...

look at him. a lil guy. he will shout slurs at you and burn down your kitchen for daring to serve him toast that isn’t properly browned. 

meat sweats is a pretty obvious one. he’s a corruption-marked slaughter avatar that also gained his loyalty to the flesh following his mutation. meat sweats is another one i really like; his design is funky and i genuinely enjoy his abilities to twist his body and also absorb the abilities of others. 10/10 character design we should make more characters like gordon ramsey. 

repo!

ok real talk i fucking LOVE repo’s design. he’s my top three favorite villain design out of all of them. just look at him. what a guy. run him over on your way out. 

repo is one of those characters that gave me a bit of a hard time cause outside of his obvious corruption marking, i wasn’t too sure what would fit him well. i eventually settled on a corruption-marked hunt avatar who is eye aligned. repo’s constantly hunting down people who owe him money and he also always seems to know how owes him money and by when. a true businessman. (he is so gender i want his claws. its the fucking purple isn’t it god dAMN IT but also. i want to crouch. like a creachure.)

ghostbear!

honestly i don’t really care for ghostbear. his design and powers are cool and that’s kinda it for me. 

ghostbear is a corruption-marked spiral-aligned end avatar. he’s a ghost (obv) and i threw in the spiral cause i felt like it helped to explain his specific abilities with shifting in and out of corporeality (is that a word??). again, not much to say for him. i don’t really hate him, i just can’t bring myself to care about him. 

purple dragons!

i also don’t really care for the purple dragons. i found them pretty annoying and hard to like and like ghostbear, i just couldn’t bring myself to care about them.

i’m gonna give the purple dragons all the nomination of eye-marked web avatars. they’re super techy and i feel like they could  be really formidable foes (i’m pretty sure they’re in the older shows? i wouldn’t know i haven’t watched them but like. i don’t really care abt them so we’re moving on)

crabs!

not only did i forget that these guys have names but i also forgot they were in the fucking show KAJFHASKFJHDSKJF

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh they’re gonna be corruption-marked slaughter avatars. punchy punch go snip snip.

foot brute and foot lieutenant!

(they don’t have names?? they named the fucking crabs and not the main baddies of the show??? what the fuck they are so cool?????? also queer relationship goals if leos a baby gay and hypnowarren are old gays then these guys are like. the elder queers. anyway)

i fucking love these dudes!! i love their dynamic!!! they are so fun i love their daughter too!!!!! ok actual analysis time.

foot lieutenant is a spiral-marked web avatar with some desolation thrown in there. they’re also trying really hard to get slaughter marked. foot brute is the slaughter avatar foot lieutenant is trying to be and they also get some desolation in there. 

ok that’s it post over i’m going to bed. also, unrelated, did you guys know that todd is a part of the villains wiki. i thought that was fucking hilarious.

Man “Battle Nexus: New York” was a great episode but I do have one major gripe with it.

Like. Raph being paired up with Ghostbear? Makes sense. Works great. Works amazing, even.

Mikey being paired up with Meatsweats? Yeah that checks out!!

Donnie getting…Hypno…? I mean. I guess Donnie doesn’t like magic so it kindaaa works but Kendra would have been a much better choice to me personally. Maybe Big Mama didn’t wanna include a human or something…

And Leo getting…uh…one of the Sando Brothers???? Of all villains? Nah let’s be real, his main villain is more Big Mama herself (or Leo could be considered his own worst enemy lmao-). Hell Hypno would have probably worked better here considering their shared love for magic tricks and stuff, but Carl Sando????

Oh, I'm so glad you asked!!! I love the villains sooo much that I'm making an Ask blog revolving around them opening a bar lmao. I'm happy to see others who are invested.

Headcanons

Repo Mantis

I feel he was the first to be mutated with normal he acts like he gives no shit he's a mutant and we see him deal with humans. In my AU it's due to the fact he was mutated years before ROTTMNTs start. I mean he is not weirded out by the boys, he clearly knows Yokai exists. I have it set so he started doing work in the Hidden City and Draxum saw a nice unmutated human to experiment on and bam mantis man.

Repos trans too, idk man he's my favorite outside of Todd and you know? He's like me frfr. Repo def doesn't strike me as a top surgery guy, but also I feel his mutation helped his dysphoria a LOT because like I mean I've felt that.

Man is also very obsessed with his hair, and uses a lot of products. Doesn't care he's greying but he DOES care how healthy it is.

Repo can and will do drag. (Warren helps with his makeup and wig due to his claws getting in the way)

Hypno

Here's a lil angst one.

Hypno doesn't realize he fused with Doug. I can't remember the episode name, but it's the one in the botanical gardens where we get the flower mutant. We see that humans can literally be fused with plant life and possibly animal life. Also since we know Hypno wants to bring Doug back to life, hes passed away. Given that Doug was Hypnos hippo, and was most likely with him when he was bit, he doesn't realize he's been fused with his buddy.

He just knows his buddy is gone and he'll never see him again. That or he fully knows but is in denial. Warren buys him merch based on Doug as a way to make him feel better, since he's not the greatest at comforting people.

and some non angst headcanons

Hypno doesn't really have a label. He knows he's queer but doesn't care to label himself. He likes who he likes, and that's all that matters.

Hypno does drag a lot!!!! He LOVES doing drag! It's fun for him, and how he expresses himself!

A lil senario thing

Imagine that Repo was actually a fan of Warren Stone as an anchorman, imagine he enjoyed his jokes and commentary. Repos devastated he went missing, and genuinely invested in keeping up with anyone trying to find him. When he discovers his favorite anchors alive and not dead he's thrilled.

Due to the fact we know everyone Warren knew pre-mutation abandoned him he doesn't trust Repo, not at first. After all Hypnos is the only one who takes him seriously or seems to give a shit about him especially after he bungled everything with April. (He feels guilty about that gauntlet situation I will die on this hill.) So naturally he doesn't believe Repo at first. Repos pretty hurt, but man he gets it. These changes are big but he promises he's a fan and even knows other fans too.

Repo ends up taking Warren and Hypno to meet the others, sure they met when Draxum "hired" them but it was just a job and they didn't really to much time to talk after they got into action. I like to think Warrens was genuinely touched to see he has a fan base. I'm fully convinced post Warren and Hypno Sitting in a Tree Todd got Warrent a job as a Hidden City news anchor. Sure it's not what he had, but it IS something, and these yokai? They love him even if he's a worm-

RotTMNT x gn!reader

Warnings: aged up, awkwardness, a tiny bit of violence, not written as headcannons

A/N: Honestly, I stopped staying hydrated for a while, but I'm back to drinking a lot of water. Stay hydrated!! I would like to preface with the fact that before Hypno mutated he went by Mezmer-Ron so I'm assuming his name was Ron... I honestly had no clue what to do with Ghostbear...

Donnie

You meet up with Donnie in the alley between the buildings you were perched on. You put the few pieces of mystic metal you found in his bag before you both turned to go back to the lair.

"Well well..." You hear a familiar New Zealand accent. Donnie tensed next to you. "I've found a turtle..."

Donnie turned and pulled out his bō, eyebrows drawn down. "I was in the middle of something." Donnie sighed. You turned to see the mutant hippo, who was all ready to pounce when he saw you.

"Y/N?" The hippo asks, lowering his rings.

"Uncle Ron?" You question.

"Uncle Ron?" Donnie turns to you.

"By days..." Hypno gasps, rings dropping to the ground. You race to him, enveloping him in a hug. A few years ago he just disappeared. "I haven't seen you in years, you've gotten so big."

"I'm hoping you weren't planning on killing my boyfriend." You laughed, Donnie hesitantly approached.

"You're dating a turtle?" Hypno huffs, both men glaring at each other.

"Says the hippo..." You answer.

Leo

Leo had portaled you guys to the beach for a day of relaxation. At least that was the plan, but soon Leo was fighting 2 giant crab men.

"I hate the Sando brothers..." Leo groans, being able to take a quick break from fighting to check on you.

"Sando?" You ask. He nods, watching them to make sure he didn't put you in danger. "Like... Ben and Carl Sando. Acrobats."

"Uh yeah..." Leo frowns, looking at you. "Why?"

"They're my uncles." You answer.

"Uncles? Your uncles are crab men... Why didn't you tell me you were related to the Sando's?"

"It never came up!" Ben charged, you quicky stepped in front. "Ben!"

"Y/N?" He grunts, skidding to a stop, Carl flies into him, making them fall over. "It really is you! What are you doing with this turtle?"

"He's my boyfriend."

"Aren't you a little young to be dating?" Carl glares at Leo.

Eventually they simmer down and you all go out for lunch to catch up. Your mom will be really happy knowing her brothers are okay.

Mikey

Mikey was headed to meet you at a yo'kai restaurant close by. He turned the corner and saw you with Meat Sweats. He couldn't see your face, but he saw Meat Sweats' gross smile. You were in danger, he had to do something.

"And I —"

"Y/N!?" Mikey calls. Rupert looked up, recognizing the orange turtle's voice. "Get away from them."

"Mikey." You grab his hand and pull him closer. "This is my uncle. Rupert Swaggert. This is my boyfriend, Mikey, he's a huge fan of Consenting Kitchen."

"Your uncle?" Mikey asks, at the same time Rupert says: "Your boyfriend?"

"We just bumped into each other." You smiled. "I haven't seen him since before he mutated."

Neither man spoke, nor did they look at you. They glared at each other. Sure Mikey was a fan of Rupert Swaggert, but he wasn't the biggest fan of Meat Sweats.

"Uh... I'm see you later, I have a date tonight." You smiled awkwardly at your uncle before dragging Mikey into the restaurant.

Raph

Both of you were chilling out in the park together. It was dark, so there wasn't a fear of people seeing him. You had grabbed takeout and drinks for a late night picnic.

This was your first date in months due to the missions Raph had to go on. But it made it all the more special.

"You wouldn't believe the guy that came in today at work." You laughed. Raph chuckled, not speaking so you could continue your story. "He kept trying to tell me that he needed left handed pencils. Like I was an idiot."

"Only one turtle?" Someone asks. You both turn and see a polar bear. "Y/N? What are you doing with this turtle?"

"Ghostbear..." Raph huffs. "I was just enjoying a date night..."

"Ghostbear?" You look at Raph who nods. "Like the pro wrestler?"

"Yeah?"

"That's my uncle!"

"What? You never told me! I was a huge fan of his... Until he tried to kill us."
