Page 19. ---- Quebec Judge Rules Out Motion by Defence in Mine Fraud Case ---- MONTREAL, May 15. - Mr. Justice Wilfred Lazure ruled Tuesday against a defence motion seeking separate trials for four of the five men accused in the $4,000,000 Stadacona Royun Mines Limited fraud conspiracy and conversion case.

The judge ruled that the men should appear together for trial, already set fro May 27, and that they be tried first on the charge of conspiracy alone, the other counts in the indictment being held in abeyance until later.

Separate trials had been sought for secretary-treasurer A. C. Trew of Ottawa, R. P. Patee and J. Barton Niver of Montreal, directors, and Fred E. Graham, of Ottawa, a bond salesman. The other accused is Roy Anderson of Montreal, president of the bankrupt company.

All five accused face charges of conspiracy to defraud the public, shareholders, noteholders and creditors of Stadacona Rouyn of $2,429,404 and of having and received and converted to their own use money and securities valued at $1,550,417.

In addition, the four officers are accused of having made false entries and with having omitted to make entries. Anderson also faces two charges of forgery.

I JUST LET OUT A REAL LOUD YELL. Partly because I love hearing what stood out to people about my fics, so hearing that you love thicc marshmallow goat boy Julien makes me :D. And of course Team Canada, which made me weep in January. And PL’s arc is interesting to me because trades are such a normalized part of hockey, even junior hockey, but it’s still rough when you’re 18 and it’s your first trade ever and you’re suddenly moved from the team you helped build up for the past two years and people are shouting about how you suck :(

And the other reason I screamed is because HOLY SHIT YOU’RE WRITING LAUZ/MYERS I COULD FUCKING. BACKFLIP INTO THE SUN. jlsgnlskgl ok I support you 1000/10 yes good I love them and I cannot wait! I still maintain that the most disappointing part of this Q playoffs is that the Huskies, who murdered my Moose kids in round 1 and are sort of my third Q team, didn’t make it past round 2. Rip Huskies, Chicoutimi really shit on my dreams there

I know your Royun for a long time now and I always wondered why she was called this way?

And how it's pronounced too. I say Roh-youne or something like that, but maybe it's different?

I think I just named her Royun bc I liked how the name sounded and looked LOL. I had a TERA character named Royul a bit before I played Awakening.

Fun fact: I took the “oyu” trend and named a few characters Koy/Koyun (FE Fates, blade & soul, FFXIV). My WoL’s name was originally Koy Un and I eventually changed it to Kokoyun.

I actually pronounce Royun “roy-oon” but I’ve received quite a few asks over the years assuming the other way.
