Some of their powers/abilites: Enhanced machine knowledge, enhanced craftsmanship, (from her dad and Athena), enhanced strength and durability, fire creation and manipulation, immunity to heat and fire, warm to the touch, good at creating discourse, good at stopping it if she wants—(usually by crying.) and has a specialty for making bombs…which stresses her mom out.

Both of these two, like stated, reside at Camp Half-Blood. They have their own little apartment in the big house, but also a cottage they themselves built a little off to the side of the big house!

Nina can control fire and make it like Leo does, because I don’t care. I want her to be able to. She stresses her mother out a lot. On top of Evelyn being a mom/aunt figure to lots of other kids at camp, which is stressful, Nina is constantly around dangerous things in the forge, and has a tendency to make bombs…which only makes her anxiety worse.

Evelyn is friends with Mr.D/Dionysus! He respects her and says that she is one of the few people he can stand to be around. She scolds him a bit whenever he’s neglectful to his campers…

Evelyn’s fatal flaw is excessive anxiety. Nina doesn’t know hers yet, since she’s so young.

I am Jiaoqiu, a military healer of the Yaoqing.

There are many ways to cook hot pot, but I've always thought that chili peppers were the essential ingredient. A mouthful of spicy goodness-- that's what satisfies. If it were not for this, life would have no flavour at all.

Although satisfactory taste is a must-include quality of the remedies I make, I am not a cook.

As a retainer of Arbiter General Feixiao-- also known as the Merlin's Claw-- I'm sworn into the art of medicinal cuisine, based off a promise I made to General Feixiao a while ago; that I would mix together a remedy capable of curing her of her condition.

Although my cooking focuses quite intently on healing purposes, I won't decline an invitation for hot pot-- as long as I'm not the only one cooking. If necessary, I don't mind whipping you up a dish... but I'm no personal chef.

She is quite short and is underweight from her time in a lab. Her hair is shoulder length and looks unkept and cut badly, her eyes large and childish. She has a multitude of scars and bruises on her. One of their has the outer part ripped off, bleeding out and dirty. She has 2 black horns and a long demon-ish tail from other experiment trials done on it. Oh yeah, also that thing on her neck? A shock collar. It’s out of range for it to work but tightly around her neck so they can’t take it off—or really know they can. If a handler finds them though then they’d feel the HELL out of it.

Ability: As The Flowers Stray. Ability description: When touching someone with the palm of one of their hands, flowers will start to grow out of the person’s airway at a rapid pace, the roots growing longer and thicker into the person in question’s pleura (the membrane around the lungs) 

Backstory: Basil is from the same lab Chuuya is from: She was taken from her family at too young an age to ever know that they weren’t created in that lab. They believe they are artificial and have many twisted and horrible morals that are taught to her by handlers. In the lab their name is F-4752 in order to dehumanize them further. She was meant to be a war weapon experiment as a spy-weapon and from which she has learned to be agile and move through crowds quickly. Basil snuck out of the lab out of boredom, just to see if they could do it. They had done this numerous times before and gotten punished severely for it but this time she was sure.

They had found where the tracker the scientists and handlers used to catch them every time through a new experiment and ripped off the outside of their ear, making that side much more sensitive to sound than the other. 

But now it has somehow worked and she’s out and about!

This blog takes place right after Sebastian was brought to UrbanShade in 2013, but before his experimentation.

He knows nothing about the place he's in nor what kind of entities it holds.

Name: Memori (no last name) “Yeah no. My mom literally named me—‘Memory’. Who’s my mom-? Doesn’t matter.”

Age: 14 (mentally, emotionally, physically). Actual age, 1000. “Okay. Just go and tell all my secrets why don’t you.”

Gender + Pronouns: Female | She/Her “I’m a girl- I’ve never felt differently so…yeah.”

Sexuality: Pansexual. “okay why do you need to say that though?!”

Parentage: Calypso. No one else- she was made from her magic and a seashell. “That’s none of your business.”

Ethnicity: Greek God, sea nymph, and sea shell… “Just…don’t say anything.”

Appearance: long blonde hair with orange and pink naturally blended it—like a conch shell. She ends up cutting it. Blueish teal eyes like shells, that sparkle and glow slightly in the dark. Tan skin, long nails, dimples.

Some Personality traits: Shy, sweet, slightly judgy, quiet, self-conscious, stubborn, defensive.

Some of their powers/abilites: minimal water manipulation, minimal nature manipulation, water sensing, trapping—she can trap people with force fields, and conceal stuff. Like her mom concealed her island. She can also heal people slightly with her hands. Water heals and energizes her, and she can manipulate the mist.

Fatal Flaw: Indecisiveness “Hey! No it’s not! I’m very good at choices.”

STORY: She was made from a seashell, originally as a tactic to try and guilt men into staying on calypsos island. To convince them to stay, because calypso had a child who needed a father. When calypso noticed that on certain men, it didn’t work, she started to silently resent her child a little bit. She was always very stern and manipulative, and tried to paint herself in a good light to her daughter. But her daughter did notice the cries of men when they would be with her mother against their will.

Eventually, she ends up escaping. Begging Percy to take her with her away from her mom’s island—technically the daughter is really old, but mentally fourteen at the time she escapes with Percy. She isn’t in to him romantically, but she wants to see if she can leave—unlike her mother who is bound to the island. It ends up working, but now the daughter has complicated feelings. She almost wasn’t expecting it to actually work, and now it’s setting in that she just up and left, abandoned her mother. Like all the men that have been to her home island.

Her feelings towards her mother are complicated, because remember that she’s been manipulated her whole life—or calypso just didn’t see anything wrong with what she was doing. But it’s her mom. Her mom who cared for her and was the only person with her for YEARS. She’s not known anything besides Ogygia, besides her mom. And now she knows what that woman has done. Her feelings are VERY complex.

Her and Percy’s relationship is complicated—they’re friends, but every time he looks at her he keeps picking out the things that remind him of calypso. He can’t forget what happened on the island now that she’s around. (He will never admit that sometimes, he wonders if he’d actually rescue her if he could go back.)
