Once again using my four main OCs from Azure Bloom!

Rukka Rosare: Being a princess and part of the kingdom's military, Rukka has a slightly stiff posture. On most occasions, she stands tall with an air of confidence around her. She can maintain and hold eye contact for a long period of time, which sometimes makes the other person uncomfortable. Every now and then though, she relaxes a little bit before going back to being a stiff board because she can’t be caught “slacking.” Due to her training as a soldier as well as her demon genes, Rukka has greater stamina than an ordinary human.

Pheabe Bliss: Pheabe is the shortest one in the group and is the most hyperactive one. Her mannerism when she speaks involves a lot of hand movement and bouncing on her toes. While she does stand up straight, she does tend to slouch a bit when she gets more comfortable. Being the more sociable and approachable one of the group, Pheabe is quite confident. She has a lot of stamina as a speedster and is pretty athletic, being able to keep up with Francis in parkour and Rukka during her training. Pheabe is smaller than the rest of the group, she also has more softer features such as rounder eyes in contrast to Rukka's sharper features.

Dante Manzanares: Dante is more relaxed in his demeanor. There’s a bit of a slouch to his posture and he’s often leaning on one leg when he’s standing with his hands usually on his hips. When he’s walking, the heels of his shoes are slightly dragging against the ground as he doesn’t pick up his feet too far above it. When he sits, he’s practically lounging with either both his feet or one are propped up. Other times his legs are also spread out. Dante is the tallest one within the group, and also the most athletic one. It’s hard to tell under his leather jacket, but Dante is also the most fit and has more muscle than the others.

Francis Barcellas: While he is more relaxed than the girls, Francis is also more on the respectful side compared to Dante. When he’s sitting, he does the same as Dante, propping his feet up and lounging comfortably until someone else joins them and he sits up straight to make some room for them. Francis formerly being part of a group of thieves, is more agile and has better stamina and control as he’s the only archer within the group. He’s the second tallest one in the group, almost sharing the same height as Rukka. His posture has him stand up right, chest puffed out but he’s not as stiff as Rukka.

Positive Trait: One of Rukka's positive traits is her unwavering diligence. She’s quite punctual, keeping up with meetings and agendas, as well as staying on track for a deadline. Even if there was a delay, she’d be ready with a back up plan to get everything on track. Due to her role within Zaeneya, Rukka does not let anything distract her from performing her duties.

Glaring Flaw: Rukka's diligence can also tie in to being a flaw alongside her perfectionism. She was strict when it came to protocols and was inflexible when it came to matters that went against them. She believed that following proper protocol and dilligence would lead to better success. This also carried unto missions.

Wound: The scar on her right eye was not something she received during training, it was actually during her first mission. When Rukka was first able to take missions, she would try to complete them within record time and little to casualties. To her, that was the ideal plan. When she attacks she would go in for quicker slashes, hoping to finish off the assailant first. But she never realized her own plan was also a downside for her. She got the scar after making the first move leaving her wide open to take the hit. But instead of falling back, she took it as an opportunity to strike down her assailant.

These things are connected due to Rukka's upbringing. Her father being missing makes it hard for her especially given that he was part of the military as well and is often informed of how great Conrart was. She feels that because of her father and her mother, she is expected to be like her parents. So she struggles to keep up with everything around her. Her mother is ruling over a kingdom and her father was a knight protecting the kingdom. Unlike her brother, Barius who is sticking with the economical side of their duties Rukka is taking the military side. This eventually led to Rukka being more on the strict side.

What texture does your character absolutely hate? What about it makes their skin crawl?

I’ll go ahead and answer for my actual OCs and not my fandom OCs for this ask (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) Since I’ve been neglecting them (´°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥ω°̥̥̥̥̥̥̥̥｀)

Rukka Rosare - Rukka doesn’t like anything that has a velvety like feeling to it. Especially velvet fabric that are so obviously cheap that it leaves some lint on her or feels very rough and sticky. Rukka's gowns were originally made with velvet fabric and she often complained about the feeling of it especially on hotter days where it practically sticks to her skin. Running her hands over it also feels like the fabric is pulling every nerve of her fingers out.

Pheabe Bliss - Pheabe hates the feeling of dust or anything chalky, especially if there’s a thick layer of it on her hands. If she can easily roll a layer of dust off her fingers by rubbing it together but still feel a faint layer of dust, she’d throw a bit of a fit about how filthy she feels and she’s uncomfortable until it’s been washed off. She doesn’t like how it makes her skin feel dry and weird to touch. To her it feels like her skin dried up and is about to just flake or peel off.

Francis Barcellas - Francis doesn’t like anything that has a slimy or even a smooth and squishy texture. While it doesn’t necessarily make his skin crawl, he doesn’t like how it feels. He was never a fan of fish being served raw and gets grossed out if he has to eat it. The meat would just sit in his mouth and he’d struggle trying to bite into it. But the chewy texture of it makes him gag. He really has to hype himself up to eat salmon but still fail to actually eat it once the meat touches his tongue. Slime itself is also something he finds absolutely disgusting.

Dante Manzanares - He isn’t too big of a fan of things that should appear soft but have a rough and coarse feel to it. Any hand towels or blankets with a rough and scratchy feeling to it are things he hates having to use. It always feels like he’s tearing off his own skin. Ever since Saian took him in, he’s been spoiled to have better towels and blankets. Will absolutely refuse to use a blanket and sleep with his own coat as a makeshift if the blanket has a rough texture.

Raina's first love, Conrart, was a guard amongst Zaeneya's royal army. He was a calm and kind-hearted person who sworn to protect the Zaeneya Kingdom at all costs. He was often seen with a smile and usually spoke with a gentle voice. Conrart was the Captain of the royal army, and from a young age, he was raised among adults to be diligent and take care of military affairs. In fact, he will often put the safety of Zaeneya ahead of taking care of himself, so that he is so busy looking after the people and protecting the kingdom that he forgets about his own life and needs.

Raina earned the title of Zaeneya's Flower not only for her appearance, but also for her kind-loving nature. She was one of the few demons who accepted any race with open arms, and treated everyone with so much care as if they were her own children. Raina is seen as, the mother to all, often taking care of poor souls who were casted out of their homes, allowing them sanctuary into her nation until they’re able to get back onto their feet. She was admired by those around her, and although those who were against relationships with other species were vocal on their disagreement with her, they still admit to being attracted to the queen’s beauty. She also values having fun, and not taking life too seriously. She can laugh at her own flaws, and the silliest of jokes, even making a few of her own to help ease her subordinates or guests in her palace so they don’t feel out of place or nervous.

And so Conrart was very attracted to Raina's warmth. When he was around her, he turned into a normal man not burdened by the threat of war. And in turn, Raina fell for him. Despite their roles, Conrart and Raina got married and had two children, Rukka and Barius. After a war against one of the neighboring nations, Conrart never returned, and no one knows of his whereabouts. Even as the two siblings are older, both holding their own share of responsibilities to Zaeneya with Rukka taking after her father with the military and Barius handling politics, Raina still holds strong love for Conrart. She never remarried as she claims Conrart was her one true love. Her devotion to Conrart, and their beliefs for their children to marry the ones they truly love, was strong enough to abolish arranged marriages within the kingdom. She was truly happy with her husband and wishes her children to be happy too and find their own love the way she did with Conrart.

Say hello to Rukka Rosare, the very first OC that started it all. Despite me not drawing much of Rukka alongside the other three OG OCs, I still love her and she will always be number one to me!

I just haven’t gotten much inspiration to draw my Azure Bloom characters (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)

Rukka Rosare, one of the main characters to my OC project, Azure Bloom. She’s a half demon, daughter of the Queen of Livesta, Raina. Her father, Conrart Renfrey, is a human. Rukka is known as the Crescent Moon Princess due to the headpiece she wears.

Unlike her mother, who can manipulate fire, Rukka has the ability to manipulate shadows. She can control the shadows, using them to attack an opponent by attacking the shadow they are currently standing upon. She can easily fade into the shadows to swiftly move and evade attacks. While in the shadows, Rukka cannot be touched, but against other shadow users this ability is ineffective.

I said I would go for Saian because she can spoil and cherish the absolute hell out of me. She may be using me, her love may be fake and she can literally get rid of me after I'm no longer useful but she'll definitely let me keep the things she got me 😭

I have made a header image for my Tumblr, now involving my main OCs from some of my favorite fandoms along with the OC that started it off right in the center.

It was originally supposed to be one banner, but me adding more work for myself, loves to make things complicated and made separate ones for all of them. Each OC’s banner has their name and the title or nickname they’re referred by.

Rukka Rosare, the very first OC I ever made. In Azure Bloom, she's known by many names, one being the Crescent Moon Princess. Rukka is a princess of the kingdom Draugruya. The crescent moon plays into the name due to the moon pendant she wears all the time. The pendant was given to her by her father, Conrart Reynfrey, on the day she was born. Which was also the day a crescent moon would rise.

Besides the pendant, Rukka seems to make apprearances in the night rather than during the day. During the day, she's always hiding away in her own study working on reports and other things. At night, she's out on missions since the darkness gives her more leverage in her attacks. Rukka can manipulate shadows, so fighting at night gives her a major advantage against enemies.

In Saian's banner, she has a wisteria theme. Her entire character revolves around the wisteria, in fact the name Fujino means wisteria field.

Saian represents the wisteria, a stunning looking purple blossom from Japan. Most had considered her to be rather harmless, but they were far from the truth. Saian welcomes anyone near her with open arms and a gentle smile on her face. But once they're close enough for her to touch, they're already caught in her deadly, sadistic trap.

Historically, Wisteria symbolizes long-life and immortality. Wisteria can live up to 100 years or even older. It’s no wonder this plant has gained such illustrious symbolism. It is a magnificent plant with impressive growth, high longevity, great beauty and intoxicating fragrance. In Japanese Kabuki theater, the symbolism for the Wisteria is Love, Sensuality, Support, Sensitivity, Bliss and Tenderness. Wisterias may be beautiful, but they can be quite toxic. All parts of the plant are poisonous, but it is most often the seeds or seed pods that are ingested.

Although she wasn’t the first oc I made in Samurai Warriors, she instantly became my favorite because I like ninjas. Ninjas are cool.

She has two banners due to her last name changing from Mizuno to Katō after her marriage with Katō Kiyomasa.

For Kana, she was given the nickname Viridescent Cyclone. This is mainly due to her aura and color being green. And the cyclone part of her nickname comes from her weapon, the three in one windmill blades. With her weapon, and ninjutsu, she is able to create a giant green vortex to attack her enemies.

In Haruna’s banner, her nickname is Lethal Beauty. Her name gives off a soft and sweet sounding tone, which makes people believe that she is harmless. She can appear to be sweet and loving to people, including her enemies, though that’s usually a facade she puts on to keep conversations going in the middle of the fight. Haruna actually can be an aggressive person, especially in a fight as she doesn’t fight fair.

While Haruna does keep up a sweet and cheerful persona, she isn’t one to hold back when the time comes. As mentioned above, Haruna can be aggressive, being a Bleach OC and all Haruna has immense strength.

Haruna is highly experience with kidō and so all her attacks can be infused with kidō to add more force to the impact. She can even infuse kidō into her hands to create a huge impact by flicking someone in the head.

In Veruca’s banner, her nickname ‘The Wolf’s Shadow’ refers to a number of things within her character. The wolf represents the Mac Uáid family, most specifically the family patronus. Each member of the Mac Uáid has a different wolf as their patronus.

In regards to Veruca’s nickname, the Shadow part refers to Veruca being in Coby’s shadow throughout her beginnings at Hogwarts with how everyone constantly compared her to Coby whether it was good or bad.

It also refers to her patronus. Both Veruca and Coby have the Arctic Wolf patronus, where Coby’s is the alpha and Veruca’s own is the shadow of the alpha Arctic Wolf. The shadow can be seen more in a negative or sensitive side compared to the alpha.

MC Patronus

In Airong’s banner, her nickname is The Red Hornet. Airong’s theme and symbolism is based off actual red hornets. The red is not only Airong’s aura and color, but the color of the kingdom she serves in.

Airong is known as the red hornet due to her quick speed and agility, along with her fast and deadly strikes. Like hornets, the one underlying factor which makes Airong so dangerous is her ‘stings.’ Getting struck by Airong can be fatal, especially when her blades are coated in poison. Being an assassin, Airong is also pretty fast and stealthy. Outrunning her may be near damn impossible.

There’s an alternative to her nickname being ‘The Tiger’s Hornet.’ A reference to being the personal guard and assassin for the Sun Family in the Kingdom of Sun Wu. Sun Jian, was known as the Tiger of Jiangdong.

Little fun fact about Rukka’s weapon, Cataclysm. The blade of the sword is the “sheath.” While in its sealed form (still sheathed), the blade is gone from the handle. So Rukka is pretty much carrying around a blade-less sword.

When Rukka reveals Cataclysm, by drawing her sword, the sheath starts to dissipate from the end and forms the blade. This process happens again when Rukka sheaths her sword after a fight, this time it’s the blade that dissipates to form the sheath.

I'm not satisfied with the way the effects look for the sword. Maybe when I get more practice, it’ll look better

Sigmis Karguruth

One of the Rosare Royal family's demon forms, Rukka has managed to obtain the fifth powerful demon forms that comes from her family line.

While taking on her normal appearance, Rukka has the ability to manipulate shadows and darkness. In the Sigmis Karguruth form, Rukka has the ability manipulating blue fire.

The blue flames spreading from her feet can seemingly be employed to attack foes, making attacks performed by her more dangerous due to a trail of fire remaining where she strikes, which can inflict further damage upon targets.

Although it is one of the strongest demon forms, Rukka is merely half human from her father’s side. And because of this, Rukka has a hard time maintaining control over her demon side. Rukka is only able to control and maintain her Sigmis Karguruth form for about 30 minutes before she has to change back to her original appearance. This results to Sigmis Karguruth only being used in emergency situations.

Rukka Rosare is one of the main characters in Azure Bloom, or Konpeki no Hana. She’s the second child to Raina Rosare and Conrart Reynfrey, and the sister to Ari (placeholder name) and Raizo. Rukka is one of the dedicated members to Grim Watchtowers, and the love interest to Francis Barcellas.

Rukka holds an emotionless expression majority of the time, making it seem like she isn’t a caring person. She’s very straightforward and assertive, not taking any person's actions so lightly. There are times when she can be a bit dull, making her allies feel awkward when they try to make a joke and she’s hardly laughing. Whenever she does show any sort of emotion, it’s gone as soon as it came. But, Rukka does have a heart, although she expresses it in a way that isn’t exactly comforting.

In spite of her expressionless demeanor, she is prone to react passionately about threats to those few she deeply cares about such as Spike, Pheabe and, later on, Francis Barcellas. She even goes as far as to shed tears openly after seeing Spike's body laying amongst the ruins during a battle.

So here's a little introduction to Rukka Rosare

Rukka holds an emotionless expression majority of the time, making it seem like she isn’t a caring person. She’s very straightforward and assertive, not taking any person's actions so lightly. There are times when she can be a bit dull, making her allies feel awkward when they try to make a joke and she’s hardly laughing. Whenever she does show any sort of emotion, it’s gone as soon as it came. But, Rukka does have a heart, although she expresses it in a way that isn’t exactly comforting.

Origin:

Born from the demon realm as the next heiress to Drugruya Kingdom, Rukka Rosare lives the early part of her life hidden in her mother's shadow. Unsatisfied with how she’s seen as ‘just Raina's daughter,’ Rukka leaves her home behind to stay within the human realm in Dewmond, Culcheth, where her auntie stays. Offering her a place to stay, but for a price, Eina recruits her into Nova Towers to hunt down rogue demons, creatures, and dark entities terrorizing the country. Taking this as an opportunity to become who she truly is, her own person and not just her mother’s daughter, Rukka takes the position and becomes one of the prominent members of Nova Towers

Current Role:

Rukka is one of the elite members to Nova Towers, taking majority of her missions at night rather than day. She spends most of her time slaving away during training, as well as pushing her team to the limit in their training sessions.

Fun Facts:

Due to an incident in the past, Rukka refuses to keep any promises believing she’d only end up breaking them, thus saying there’s no point in making empty promises. She denies about being a nice person, even going as far to feign ignorance when people bring it up. Rukka was nearly killed by her love interest. Her guardian also acts as a pet and can be summoned in fights to devour creatures that are a lot tougher than Rukka can handle. Rukka is also half human, from her father's side, so there are times when her power is sealed away or stripped from her, turning her fully human (alt, casual). Due to the scar, her right eye doesn’t turn to its blue color when she turns to her demon form. Her hair and the cloth draped by her left leg are made of flames, and her left eye is also aflame. The necklace she wears is one of the six heirlooms of the Rosare family. Her katana, Cataclysm, doesn’t form once it’s been drawn from the sheath unless Rukka wills it to.
