gwen sneaking out of her house just to go make out with you in the middle of the night <3
oh yes like yes actually yes like mhm
she’d sneak out her window and meet you at yours just to end up at the park (ever since she’d figure out how to unlock the locks she hasn’t stopped)
and she’s got a blanket to lay on the grass of course and the two of you are stargazing and slowly beginning to hold hands
and gwen, getting bored of the stars, would suddenly roll over and look at you, who’s still on your back, and her big blue eyes full of so much love and adoration
an hour passes by and you’re still on that blanket kissing softly under the moonlight and nobody but the stars and the moon herself would know

So I'm watching Stardom's August 8th show and after the 3-way tag match Yunamon pulls one of her pineapple candies out of her top and then Tam very slyly pulls one out of hers as well and it's like lol cute silly moment okay. My guard is down
But then Tam takes hers. And she walks over to give it to Momo.
She says a few words to her and for just a moment, Momo looks so touched.
But then she looks over at Yuna and gets so angry, she throws the candy at Yuna and looks back at Tam like she's been grievously betrayed.
Yuna is Momo's senpai from back before either of them were in Stardom, and while I'm pretty sure they're friends irl, in kayfabe the story is that Yuna bullied Momo incessantly, and Momo could never, ever beat Yuna to get even. A few weeks before this show she finally managed to pin her for the first time, in a 3-way match, but it would seem that's not enough for her to forget how she feels, and apparently she's not a big fan of Yuna (more or less) being in Cosmic Angels.
But Tam doesn't mind. She reaches out to her again, offers her her hand, and says a bit more to her that the mic can't pick up.
Tam and Momo have interacted a few times this year, and the vibe to me has sort of been like Tam's saying "Hey, I know you're struggling, don't give up." This time, especially with Tam reaching out her hand a second time after Momo rejected her at first, felt really, really different. The mood to me felt a lot more like "Look, I know you're angry, but I really am watching you. You can do this."
And now, knowing this happened about a month ago and after Momo's comments last week, I am absolutely DYING to know what she feels she has to think about. I want this story so, so badly.

sometimes, being a sophitz shipper means yearning for a world where sophie and fitz better themselves before getting back together, and when they do get back together, sophie digs up the teal heart necklace he gave her so long ago and puts it back on and never takes it off - and when fitz asks about it, she tries to brush it off with a wink and a corny joke, but fitz gives her the sappiest smile instead of laughing along with her because. because. because he’s even more head over heels for her than he was at seventeen and she’s everything he’s ever wanted in a romantic partner but thought he could never have, y’know?

(2.2 spoilers!) acheron's physical appearance; since we know that acheron was a human-turned-oni before becoming a self-annihilator, due to having fought the kami & drawing her strength from the takagamahara; i do think she still has some oni attributes to herself. first, i think her horns broke off as she fell into the great black sun & thus, they're not visible anymore & hidden by her hair. though, remants still remain & she sort of has some . . . phantom pain due to them? horns are still part of the body & thus, having them broken off could have really hurt her. also, she has sharp canines because i say so.
additionally, the white hair that we see in her nihility-form is the marie-antoinette syndrome in action; her hair probably turned all white once she fell into the black sun & experienced nihility in its rawest form before dying. the marie antoinette syndrome happens when one experiences extreme stress or trauma & i think falling into a black hole, which is a shadow of a literal aeon could be classified as such. i also think that's why IX even spared her a glance; because she came into direct contact with THEM. the white strands & her whole white hair are remnants of that moment; a reminder that she's threading a fine line between life & death.

the usual izzy gets surprised by not having had menopause yet and a baby trope but adding in a twist: it happens pre-canon and by the time he gets unceremoniously dumped off the ship, he’s known for at least a month
just. increasingly tense izzy, who not only has to deal with not being able to keep anything in his body and worse nausea than he had even in his first week on a ship, but also can’t sleep marinating in the familiar coldness between him and ed that suddenly grates all over again. who’s forced to contend with the idea that something might finally force them out of this stalemate, and he doesn’t know if he wants that really or what outcome scares him the most, and it makes him pissier than a rabid cat soaking wet most days
and then it happens anyways, in an entirely different way that didn’t even require izzy to voice all of his fears and lay bare their problems, because stede fucking bonnet did that with his mere presence. no need to admit to his fear of being abandoned now, is there, is all he can think bitterly over a mug of fucking water of all things in jackie’z.
