yeah no I’m gonna say it AGAIN, VR-LA standing at one hit point, reeking of rot, eyes glowing in the aftermath of a vision, oil dripping from the dagger plunged directly through his heart and the corners of his mouth, grinning as DX-TR asks in horror “What ARE you?” And then spitting in DX-TR’s face as he screams “I’m the ghost of your past, present, and $&(@ing future and I’m going to GODDAMN HAUNT YOU-“ as Vhas comes up behind him and slices his head off might be my favorite image of the entire series holy crap.

Still cant get over the fact that when everyone aboard the per aspera got some kind of induced crazy dani was completley unaffected because she was already actively taking trophies from her kills since day fuckin one pretty much

Since the finale is coming up and I'm trying to cope, I started going back to watch some old episodes and thought it was really cool how certain themes showed up as early as they did: case in point, Dani's whole relationship with the ship vs the crew.

Season 1 Episode 5

[After Dani chooses to the fight the monk wanting to take Kyana by breaking the motive force generator instead of calling Kyana back onto the ship and into a trap]

Sophia: Dani has just done something momentous in that she has broken the one thing she cares about more in this world than Plug.

Season 4 Episode 8

Dani: The ship doesn't live without the crew that's on it, and the best crew that's ever been on the goddamn Per Aspera is standing on it right now!

Kyana: Wait, wait. Dani, are we the ship?

Dani: Yes! Everyone's the ship! The crew is part of the ship, that's what I'm trying to tell you.

Sometimes family is just an amnesiac robot who’s Mystra’s specialist boy, a monk who was raised by mindflayers and who has a second secret soul that she’s using to summon the ghosts of her ancestors thru anger, the worlds most chaotic ship captain/mechanic who CANNOT stop breaking her own ship, the dad friend/cook who left the ship to get married, the githyanki deserter they rescued from prison, almost the entire previous crew of the ship, like all the mechanic/captain’s former co-workers, a drow deserter who kidnapped the monk that one time but they’re chill now, the monk’s githzerai mentor who cannot stop almost dying, another monk raised by the same mindflayers who has been actively tracking the mindflayers, and the dad friend’s ex-girlfriend/wife. Oh, also the twink and the lion man.

I've been highly inconsistent with where I post what in the past but I've finally decided to actually post all my art under my main blog regardless of what fandom it is and then just reblog it to whatever side blog seems relevant SO

Instead of any actual serious art for this season, I'm closing out Rolling With Difficulty Season 4 with a hastily drawn shitpost 👍

(it's cut off but i decided it'd be hilarious if the Inevitable had blades for feet also so it has to skate everywhere. poor floor of the per aspera >_>)
