i really really wanna know as much about yansim and know like all the students and everything off head like you do. do you have any advice or should i just inhale everything i can find?

Hmm...I'm not sure I know absolutely everything about students and lore...well, maybe I know enough

And all this because since 2016 I have been steadily passionate about yansim and watched all the changes in the game

So, in general, I do not advise absorbing all the information about the lore and characters that are in your way. It is better to start reading about those who are most interesting to you and move on to related things or characters. Before, when there was less information and characters, it was easier, because you learned it all gradually, and every big update your attention was focused on a certain circle of characters

Maybe I can remember the general eventfulness of game updates from the very beginning of development, so you also can easily learn yansim lore gradually

So,

2014: The game just started coming out, so there wasn't any lore or interesting characters, exept Info-chan. Only the concept of yandere simulation as such flourished

2015: The first iconic characters appeared - Midori, Pippi Osu, Phantom-chan, rainbow six. Hints about the lore of Kokona began to appear

2016: Rival introduction, the appearance of other iconic characters - Oka, Budo, Mai Waifu, Basu sisters, Kuu Dere, Ryuto, Musume. The first clubs with actual leaders and members - occult and martial arts. With the appearance of Musume, Kokona's lore has expanded, as she has her own big task. Journalist's cassettes. Also...as I remember, Fun Girl appeared

2017: Nemesis and the mission mode, club leaders (but not yet in the game, just sprites and information about them), male rival introduction as an April Fool's joke, the peak of Koumi's activity (I know that this is just a fan artist, but their contribution to the fandom is undeniable), first thoughts about Yakuza and his lore, Ayano's childhood, Lovesick mode aka Serious mode, video of driven Kokona to murder, student council appearance (very end of the year)

2018: The appearance of bullies, delinquents and their lore, more clubs, and their leaders are actual characters instead of gray girls (who later turn out to be the Empty Demon)

Note: My interest in that year had cooled off a little compared to last year. I wasn't interested in a bunch of new characters at first, and perceived them as I now perceive NPCs from the 1980s mode. I became attached to some of them only through fan art. (Not sure that the same will happen with the 1980s mode NPCs, because they are all about the same and do not have any interesting information about themselves)

2019: The appearance of Hazu, Otohiko, Toga and Kyuji. Buraza town, work in a maid cafe. The appearance of Raibaru (not yet in the game, but only in the video)

2020: Demo release, SNAP mode

2021: 1980s mode. Saisho's letter to Ryoba. "Tragic ending". Rejected 12th rival (fan name Maria Inoue)

This is an approximate chronology of significant additions to the game. So, I think you can gradually learn the important events of each year. It would also be quite useful to familiarize yourself with the Dev's videos from the very beginning of development. I remember how in 2017 I organized such a marathon for myself, and thanks to this I learned a lot about the game and it's lore. It will also be quite interesting to study Dev's very first posts on the development blog...although it mostly plays a nostalgic role rather than giving any new lore knowledge

The main thing is not to force yourself to learn if something is not interesting. This is information that has accumulated over 8 years, so everything should be learned gradually, as if you are watching an ongoing series

Icon change! In honor of the new Fire Emblem game coming out next month (at least, to where I can play it), my new icon will be the woman on the right. I may change it a little if I can fix the fade to be a little more gradual, but this'll be it for a while. I like the relaxed, half-baked ones. 11. What’s on your homescreen? Ryo: A picture taken at Disneyland of JUNIOR 5, including Saku-chan. Mizuki: It’s completely white. I can see the icons easier this way. Yuto: A picture of Mount Fuji I took outside of the hotel window on a family trip. Soya: It’s a photo of a single red rose I purchased. The photo quality on my phone is really good so the red is so vivid and beautiful. Ryuto: The view of the ocean at sunset. Around the summer, it was of Yuto’s expression upon taking a photo with Matsumoto Jun-kun in the dressing room. 12. What’s the most recent photo you took? Ryo: Of my own hair. Just dyed it black. Mizuki: Choreo video. Yuto: A picture of Matsumoto Jun-kun during his concert. The pose he was during while wearing pink gloves was really cool so I took a picture of it without thinking about it when I saw it in a magazine or something. Soya: A picture with friends taken in front of the emergency stairwell on the day of the school culture festival. But we took it with the light the wrong direction so it was a big fail (laughs). Ryuto: Taiko holding a ukulele. 13. What sort of pictures do you have the most in your camera roll? Ryo: Pictures with friends. When we go out, we ask people nearby to take photos for us. Mizuki: I don’t really take photos, they’re pretty much all choreography videos. Yuto: Photos of the members’ selfies when they steal my phone. I dunno what kind of faces Hashimoto-kun makes, Saku-chan’s photos are of eyes wide open, etc. (laughs). Soya: Family. My older sister loves photos so there’s a lot of everyone. Yuto: Hawaiian ring. Soya: Five rings from Hawaii. My fingers look pretty when I put them on. Ryuto: Mobile battery. 16. What do you want the most right now? Ryo: Motorcycle. I want to ride one during a concert! I have to get a license first, though. Mizuki: I want to try living on my own so I want a one bedroom apartment (laughs). Yuto: White sneakers or boots. ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES II Full Card Revealed

ONE Championship returned home on Friday, 9 October, with the ultra-exciting ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES card at Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Now, The Home Of Martial Arts will air its second event from “The Lion City” since COVID-19 restrictions began with the previously recorded ONE: REIGN OF DYNASTIES II this Friday, 16 October.

The upcoming card is filled from floor to ceiling with top Chinese contenders looking to earn their glory in the Circle.

The main event features a ONE Super Series bantamweight kickboxing clash between China’s “Muay Thai Boy” Zhang Chenglong and Japanese icon Hiroki Akimoto.

Akimoto made his promotional debut in 2019 and has scored wins over the likes of ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Title challenger Josh “Timebomb” Tonna. 

Zhang, meanwhile, posted three consecutive victories before coming up short against Alaverdi “Babyface Killer” Ramazanov for the inaugural ONE Bantamweight Kickboxing World Championship last December.

But if the #3-three ranked contender can defeat Akimoto, he may put himself back in line for another World Title shot.

In the co-main event, Muay Thai World Champion and Zhang’s older brother, “Bamboo Sword” Zhang Chunyu, takes on multiple-time Muay Thai World Champion Sagetdao “Deadly Star” Petpayathai in a ONE Super Series featherweight Muay Thai bout.

“Bamboo Sword” would love to make his ONE debut a memorable experience, especially since he’s competing on the same card as his younger brother.

But “Deadly Star” will be looking to make his own mark as he returns to ONE Championship for the first time since 2018 – this time under Muay Thai rules.
