thinking about “love won’t stop this bomb” and how that doesn’t stop the character/so many of us in the face of inevitable horrors from giving those around that love. it’s not that love is pointless and not worth feeling and giving because destruction and terror is inescapable. it’s knowing love won’t change the outcome and still choosing it. holding onto it because it’s what we still have.
