9 Slaughters, 9 Houses, 9 Tier Lists [11.A-11.H]
Only 1 tier list, actually. Jack made a strong first impression. Let's see how everyone else does. Around the time of 11.D I realized these interludes were structured in a certain way: One of the 8 remaining S9 members recruiting their pick for who should be the 9th. And, if they get their way, 7/8 of these people will die. Each Interlude's them being recruited-- so in a way, this is just one, huge fuckoff interlude for The Slaughterhouse. Lets begin! A -- BITCH [X - SIBERIAN] Yeah, it didn't take long for the warm feeling in my heart on ending base-arc-11 to dissipate. I didn't really know what to make of 'Slaughterhouse 9 is looking for their next member'. I 'kinda thought it was just going to be another villain, not some fucked-up selection gameshow. Someone like Hookwolf. (Huh!) Or, maybe even a fucked-up hero, akin to Armsmaster. But, actually, it's Bitch. They're going after Bitch. Give her a break, Wildbow? Please? Tumblr media
Seeing Bitch smile with her family was nice, though. Even if I think she's wrong, in that being alone from anyone else isn't what she needs. Finding out a little more about her than the snippets Lisa gave us, and her inner thoughts on Taylor, was nice too. And then things, inevitably. went to shit. Not Angelica's Injury or Glory Girl. Siberian.
Tumblr media
Oh, no.
Tumblr media
That she didn't call Coil, that (spoilers!) she didn't raise the issue in the coming weeks until it was revealed by other means, is telling that she's at a crossroads. B-But, c'mon. There's no way. She'll pick the right path, and use this as the start of a rekindling of her friendship with Taylor-- this being teaming up and beating the shit out of S9. I believe in her! B -- THEO/ONI-LEE [X - JACK SLASH]
Theo, on the other hand, I'm not so sure if I can believe in. Kaiser's Son. Presumably(?) Jack Slash's nominee-- it's left a little vague, given the whole two-years-thing. At least, I think this whole interlude was set in the present day, or at least post-Leviathan. Yep, just checked-- it definitely is. Oni-Lee was Jack's original target, but he wasn't interesting enough. Lucky for him, someone way more interesting was practically handed to him on a silver platter. Theo doesn't seem like a bad kid, especially given his circumstances, but I worry. Jack being a fucked up son of a bitch was fun to watch, though. C -- LABYRINTH [X - Burnscar] This one was my 2nd-favorite. I really like Labyrinth. I think I mentioned earlier that I was hoping to see some more of her? This was exactly what I wanted!
Tumblr media
Well, Burnscar could've gone without the scorching of Faultline & Co. , but. I like these glimpses into characters that I just have, like, no idea how they think/operate. Now I have a little bit more of a picture. Labyrinth's one of my favorite side-(ish, now that she's in the spotlight?) characters
Tumblr media
I don't even know what this is. Cauldron? Case 53? Faultline and her group of misfits seem intertwined with it all, all but confirmed in the tail-end of Arc 11. I hope Labyrinth is okay. D -- Armsmaster [X - Mannequin]
" I didn't really know what to make of 'Slaughterhouse 9 is looking for their next member' " This one I did see coming, actually. My first prediction! I should write these down so I can properly say 'called it'! What I didn't see coming was me actually giving a shit.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh, Colin. This really hurt to read. Why do you have to be a human being? As much as I hate the things you've done--
I don't know. I've left it a while, and I still think about this interlude. Armsmaster hasn't shown up yet at the point in the story I'm at while writing this (13.Something). I'll write about Armsmaster-- Colin, I should get in the habit of humanizing him, if that's what the story wants-- when he's back. E -- Hookwolf [X - Shatterbird]
Tumblr media
I 'dunno, Shatterbird. He called you a slur internally a little earlier, and even self-monologued about 'The Aryan Dream', or whatever the hell he's smoking. This one's a lost cause.
Tumblr media
While I don't have much to say about this chapter, other than the spectacular action and Shatterbird's cool power-- we'll get there!--- I really like this kind of manipulation S9 are using on their recruits. They aren't like them. But they could be. I'm really scared that one of them will be. It won't be Hookwolf, though. F -- Noelle [Dinah] [X - Crawler]
Hey, look at that! It's my favorite interlude to date! Yeah, even more than Alec's. This one was peak.
Tumblr media
Dinah has my favorite power of any character in Worm. It's just so cool... Probability precognition isn't like, an original idea by any means-- but its just so... agh!! ================================= THE "HE KNOWS" BANNER Hello! Everything written after this point is Az knowing up to 19.3 in plot-knowledge. I'll try and leave things as a 'We'll get to that!', but keep in mind that 'he knows'. ================================== Dinah still has my favorite power of any character in Worm! But 11.f is no longer my favorite interlude... Crawler isn't even present in this chapter, but he's described almost like an endbringer. Near-invulnerable, on a mission to fight the strongest thing in the entire city, and willing to crush anyone that steps in his way.
Tumblr media
Oh, Dinah...
Tumblr media
... G -- Regent [Cherish] [X - Cherish] Regent's French Canadian? Biggest plot twist of worm so far.
Tumblr media
Cherish is great. I love girlboss psychopaths, and she's 'kind of hit the nail on the coffin.
Tumblr media
Nominating Alec for the nine out of spite is a take that I'm all here for, though. But what's this now-- Bitch and Alec? Have it their way, and one of them at the very least's dead.
H -- Amy [X - Bonesaw] Not to cut this short, because it's a great interlude and all, but I'll talk about Amy in my upcoming megapost on 12.1-19.3. A lot of ground to cover, I know. Bonesaw, too. Instead, here's my Tierlist of the 9, taking into account their actions throughout Arcs 12, 13 and 14: S [Slaughter Tier!] -- Jack Slash, Bonesaw, Mannequin A [Ahhhhhh Tier..] -- Siberian, Cherish, B [Didn't do that much Tier] -- Burnscar, Crawler, C [Regent-owned Tier] -- Shatterbird
The reason this all took so long is that Worm is really good, and I keep reading it instead of writing about reading about it. Sorry... See you next time for either 12.1-14.X or 12.1-19.3, depending on my attention span.

M*A*S*H - Viewguide, S9
Are you interested in the long-running anti-war situation tragicomedy M*A*S*H (1972-1983), but there are simply so many asterisks and so many episodes?
Well I can’t help you with the asterisks, but nor can I help myself: I started watching all 11 seasons of M*A*S*H, and bringing back for you my viewing selections, chosen for The Qualities.
— — —
Haha I don’t know, I don’t know! Once again I felt this was kind of a weird one, and yet this time the mood would get odd and I’d be like….well go on then. What’d’ya got.
Here are nine various answers to that question:
M*A*S*H - Season 9 Recommended sequence
9x03 ‘Cementing Relationships’ - Script absolutely curlicue with wordplay, the passionate Italian soldier possibly the funniest patient they’ve had yet, and Klinger turns into Locke from the film Locke---I’m up.
9x04 ‘Father’s Day’ - Margaret’s dad sucks. :( The boys are engaged in trying to eat a side of frozen beef. With visible effort, Charles manages to list out “Hawk,” “Beej,” and “Max,” all before fully awake. These are some of the highlights.
9x10 ‘Operation Friendship’ - It’s called “Operation Friendship.” Do you need more? Alright, Klinger and BJ get injured in some sort of confusing pressure explosion, sending Klinger into schemes (‘course) and BJ into a tense & tender domestic drama with worried to distraction Hawkeye. More? In one scene, Potter is literally directing said domestic drama. More! That’s me asking.
9x11 ‘No Sweat’ - They Were All So Hot meets They Were Up All Night! Bitch you know I love an Aristotelian unity! The whole thing takes place I think between the hours of about 3am and 6am in diverse locations and vibes around camp, while crickets chirp in the dark and everyone is simply SO pants-less.
9x12 ‘Depressing News’ - One thing I always like Very much is when Hawkeye gets kind of unnervingly intent on some grim futile little project against the war. BJ is [spins wheel of BJs]...disinterested! Admittedly Hawkeye says something to him in this that sure pushed me right out of my mind onto the floor.
9x14 ‘Oh, How We Danced’ - Perhaps the most ‘Season 9’ Season 9 episode. Very sweet very sentimental, BJ always in a tiff over something, pristine background comedy acting, also moments like where Charles says with withering poison, “Hunnicutt, gooo hurt yourself,” and it’s like, oh, that’s weirdly extreme!
9x15 ‘Bottoms Up’ - Necessary inclusion for reasons of it's this one and for Margaret having just a terrifically mid-century lesbians plot line with her tall, card-playing nurse friend who is ~hiding a dark secret~
9x17 ‘Bless You, Hawkeye’ - MAYBE if anyone had actually said “Gesundheit” this wouldn’t have gotten this bad, eh!
9x20 ‘The Life You Save’ - Very interesting Charles episode!! And remarkably well-balanced between his troubled story and the dark-comic Army procedure absurdity the rest of the crew is getting up with. It kinda feels like this episode could be the exemplar of what M*A*S*H has most wanted to be in its run. An Alda Production™
Season 1 • Season 2 • Season 3 • Season 4 • Season 5 • Season 6 • Season 7 • Season 8 • Season 9 • To be continued

for ship bingo: charles/klinger and beej/peg
Charles/Klinger:
Tumblr media
I was surprised when I first saw how much fic they had, but that was before I watched those three consecutive S9 episodes where they have plotlines together (Tell It to the Marines, Operation Friendship, Taking the Fifth). Then it kind of made sense, put together two of the most opposite characters, but it doesn't appeal to me. I enjoy their friendly moments like Death Takes a Holiday. Klinger still should have smacked him. I have a hard time seeing Charles's use of his first name as anything other than him thinking Klinger is beneath him.
BJ/Peg:
Tumblr media
I like them! I don't really have anything to say. I can't buy them as a deliberately lavender marriage because BJ seems too fond of her for that. I like him saying they have an equal partnership because it's common for people to think things are more gender equal than they are. When he freaks out over stuff like her cleaning the gutters, it's not literally about the gutters, it's about him not being there.

bart: a drop of blood to save a gallon.
cas: i don’t agree.
-
cas: who i was, what i did... that’s not who i am.
-
cas: angels fighting angels has to stop somewhere. might as well stop with me.
-
cas: i didn’t come to fight, but if i have to, i will.
i love cas’ character development in s9. it’s steadily increased since s4, but human cas made the transition clear — he doesn’t linger in extremes of pacifism or bloodshed anymore. he’s shifted from a belief that saving the world is worth sacrificing people, that killing his own is necessary to do the right thing. he’s rejecting his angel coding, like his operating system has been rewired by the concrete piece of humanity he got to experience. plus, he’s stuck in limbo between heaven and earth, which reminds me of dean and sam being stuck between hunting and apple pie. one being all they’ve known, the other being what they’ve felt drawn to. he’s trying to find a middle ground. i didn’t expect this episode to lean into it, but i’m pleasantly surprised and i really enjoyed the part cas’ friendship-turned-rivalry with bart played in it.

And now it’s your turn! I would love to get the Director’s Commentary on “Awake, Arise.” Especially if you get inspired to add another chapter. 😜❤️
Tumblr media
Thank you so much to both @caranfindel and @quirkykayleetam for asking about “Awake, Arise”! It’s a multi chapter, WIP season 9 AU with all my favorite things: Sam, and also torture. What else is there to say??
…okay, fine, let’s add some background.
How did you come up with the idea?
Sam’s been hurt a lot, hasn’t he? He gets injured every other episode, he gets tied up and threatened and tortured, he gets choked and stabbed and conked on the noggin and everything else under the sun. It’s why we love him. But most everything that’s happened to him (with the big ol’ glaring exception of the Cage) has been, if not wholly unanticipated, at least a shock in that moment. On the job, then acute hurt, then relative safety. When he’s in a fight, he can give as good as he gets. If he’s abducted, it’s a surprise, and it’s temporary. If he’s killed, it’s sudden, and he’s coming back. Even though hideous injury is a predictable hazard of his occupation, Sam hasn’t really been in a prolonged period of helplessness/anticipation of injury without a reasonable hope of escaping it or fighting back… at least, not on Earth.
In the Cage, on the other hand, Sam experienced unimaginably brutal and creative abuse, with no hope of escape or fighting back or rescue, and with every anticipation that each new day would be more absurdly unbearable than the last. But… he also didn’t need to be functional, per se, not beyond whatever variable standard of “entertaining” that Lucifer specified. He didn’t have to pull himself together to research a case or interact with civilians or navigate the nuanced and thorny complexities of his relationship with Dean.
Basically, Sam’s day-to-day struggles are stressful and ongoing and dangerous, but he never knows precisely what to expect, and he knows he’s generally equipped to fight back; his time in the Cage was a lot more morbidly predictable and inevitable, but there was no requirement to be a sane, productive member of society.
So….. what if we combined the best worst of both worlds? What if Sam got an exact time and date and description for the hurt, a who what when where, without any way for him to fight or avoid it? And it would just keep happening, but in between, he had to keep living his life? What if, on top of that, it was the worst thing he could imagine: a return to the Cage? (Trauma is nice but REtrauma is nicer.) How do would he deal with THAT flavor of ongoing trauma—something unlike anything he’s felt before?
Hence… the premise of Awake, Arise, which I tossed around in my mind for a few years, sort of fruitlessly wishing someone else would think of the same idea and write it. (I found a few stories with premises that were… vaguely similar but not quite there.) Eventually, I realized I’d have to be the change I wanted to see in the world. Or some such thing.
Why is it set in season 9?
Short answer? Not to put too fine a point on it, but adding Lucifer to s9 makes a stew that I think most embodies what I see as SPN’s mission statement: “Sam Winchester navigates various abusive relationships, of varying severity, to varying degrees of success.”
Longer justification: first of all, it’s gotta be after season 7—so that Sam’s in a place of relative functionality—and before season 11—so that Lucifer’s got little hope for imminent rescue. So that narrows the field a little.
And then I got to thinking about the other goals I had for a fic (y’know, beyond just endlessly self-indulgent Lucifer and Sam convos and Cage headcanons, which is my real genre of choice), and I realized I really, REALLY wanted to deal with the intricacies of Sam and Dean’s post-Gadreel relationship. The newly Mark’ed Dean is looking for absolution that Sam’s in absolutely no mood to give. Sam’s reeling from possession and betrayal; he’s trying, for the first time in a long time, to set some boundaries in their relationship. What better time to make things EVEN WORSE, than when Sam’s already got to navigate his victimhood at the hands of his own brother? What better time to add in Lucifer as both foil and cruel truth-teller?
Other things to love in season 9: Dean’s, erm, complicated relationship with violence and torture and Sam-as-victim is being exacerbated by the Mark (oh Dean, you scary bastard, I do love you)… and Cas and Sam’s friendship is both touchingly close and more than a tad off (”the only one who’s screwed up worse than you is me”, anyone?)… and Gadreel, whom I love, is hanging around to be a Sam-mirror (they should be friends but they’re very much noooot ahahaha)…
What’s with the title?
“Awake, arise, or be forever fall’n” is a Paradise Lost quote. It’s Satan’s rallying cry to the other angels who have fallen from God’s grace: he’s telling them that he’s their only salvation.
How closely is it going to follow canon events?
I’m operating under the logic that the ONLY thing that’s altered between canon and the Awake Arise universe is the existence of Abaddon’s spell. That being said, the addition of Lucifer to the season 9 chessboard upsets the plans of quite a few players, and changes the Sam’n’Dean dynamic dramatically! There are a lot of fun implications that come from that one alteration, so while  generally, facts that are true in canon remain true here, the landscape’s gonna look pretty different in the end.
Was this your first real attempt at creative writing?
Yepppp. It’s not my first fic ever (that dubious distinction belongs to a very short piece I wrote in about an hour right after 11.09 because holy shit 11.09 was not fucking around), but it’s the first one I’ve ever expended serious effort on. When I started writing it in 2017, I didn’t think of myself as any kind of an author. I think my writing has improved since then, and hopefully it will continue to improve.
It’s incredibly self indulgent, isn’t it?
Why, yes. Yes, it is. It is an excuse for my id to hurt Sam in fun new ways. I tacked intellectual character justifications onto it post hoc.
Are you ever going to update?
Yes. I am going to see this unholy thing through to the bitter end (which btw is already written). Chapter 17 is about three-quarters done.
How long is it going to be?
Who knows! It began life with a broad fifteen chapter outline, but I kept thinking of more things to add to the middle, and then I needed additional things to connect those things in ways that made sense… you get the picture. Right now my outline has bloated to 33 chapters, and it’s almost certainly going to be longer than that.
And there’s my commentary! Thanks for asking!! I’m not even sure what people are most interested in knowing about this piece, since it’s a WIP… so if there’s some burning question or idle curiosity I didn’t cover, drop me a line!

Rena, any thoughts about Connie and Wash's relationship, before and during PFL?
Yesssssss RvB Meta. I swoon.
In all seriousness, I actually adore the understated relationship between Connie and Wash before and during PFL and I’ve always been really disappointed that there’s been so little focus on it from fandom (self included, shameful fan I am), especially since there’s a lot to draw from it in canon even if it never received a lot of focus.
One of the highlights in RvB S14, even if it wasn’t concentrated on a lot, was showing that prior to the PFL arc there was an established friendship between Wash and Connie, and that (like I’d theorized for some time actually) they were the newest to the established team we saw during the S9-10 arc. To me, the team assembled always felt like the “best of the best” which, logically, would mean that they had earned those positions among the 49-or-so established agents of Project Freelancer. And it would make sense that Connie and Wash were the newest and possibly replacing at least two known agents who had died in field tests (Georgia and Utah) that Wash and Connie didn’t seem to know much about but the other established Freelancers did.
I liked the Freelancer episodes of S14 because it built on this hierarchy idea, and on the fact that Wash and Connie were part of the same training group along with Iowa, Indiana, and Ohio -- but also established or at least built on a perspective about loyalties that was tearing Wash and Connie’s established friendship apart by the time we see them in S9. Younger Wash was more loyal to “the system” and the Project than he was to his friends, which doesn’t make him a terrible person or anything, but perhaps a little more self-centered and in need of growth than the Wash we would come to know and love during his time with the Reds and Blues. This is further registered if you take some of the Fanbook canon into consideration and remember that the Director and Counselor basically saved him from being court martialed for his actions in the War, and Price even notes that there would be a sense of loyalty from Wash they could exploit after doing so. That’s a loyalty that Wash ended up prizing over the loyalty he had to his friends and, ultimately, probably regretting once he evolved as a character and came to value friendship and trust above even his own safety or needs by the time we see him in Chorus. By Chorus, Wash is willing to leave a planet in civil war for the safety of the Reds and Blues and then develops even more by being the one to suggest he and Carolina stay behind to help the planet and avenge it so long as the Reds and Blues made it to safety.
Connie, from the beginning, lacks that loyalty to the program and seems more questioning of its operations and of what happened to their friends who mysteriously vanished. We don’t know when she established contact with Charon and began working as a double agent, but it’s pretty obvious that she’s aware of Wash’s loyalties and doesn’t trust him (or anyone else) on the ship with what she knows until the very end, trusting Tex for somewhat obvious reasons.
Wash reaches out to comfort Connie, he wants to help her when she’s obviously upset, but he does little to pursue this when she rejects his offer and insists on going by “CT” instead. There’s an obvious familiarity between them being broken.
In my personal interpretation, Connie and Wash leading up to S9′s flashbacks were probably the closest the other had to friendship in the program, and were driven apart by a combination of contradicting loyalties and desires in the program itself.
Regardless, there’s a lot of established and mostly untapped depth between the two of them that I think we could do well to play around with more as a fandom. And there’s definitely more evidence to this friendship than some of the other relationships built up in the fandom as “basically canon” during the PFL arc.

PLS ignore
I wish i could use some of my photos, but I had some problems with my mac and 2016 claimed my 40GB photos library. I’m mad as hell.
Anyway, without further preamble, thanks @n3rd-p0w3r for tagging me. Love ya, kid.
· Relationship status?: Single.
· Lipstick or chapstick?: I use more lipstick these days, mostly because I lose the lip balms constantly.
· Last song listened to?: Hmm, I think it was “Life’s Too Short” of the deleted Frozen soundtrack. I read something about the sequel and I started investigating how the first movie was made and I think I like this movie again, I hate the fandom, but I like the movie.
· Favourite colour(s)?: Blue. But a light blue. I also like red a lot. Ironically, my room is green.
· Last movie I watched?: I watched Frozen with my brother and my cousin when I babysat them a few days ago.
· Top three shows?: UGH, I am not someone who likes TV shows that much, I always forget to keep up with them.
Doctor Who, even though it is shit 90% of the time, it has managed to keep my attention for 9 series.
Black Mirror is my current obsession
???
· Top three characters?: HOLD YOUR SEATS YOU MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLES BECAUSE THIS IS GONNA BE LONG
Clara Oswald. I love Clara Oswald with all my heart and I can’t believe that the fandom has such a complicated history with her. By that I mean that I do believe it, I hate fandoms. Basically, her whole character arc is a subversion, even in series 7, when people said that she had no personality, she was a subversion. She was meant to be both similar enough to be close to the other companions, but she did have a personality of her own, even if it was in the background because The Doctor (and the audience) was too engrossed by her supposed mystery to pay attention to her. Actually, all those things that she exhibits in s8 more prominently are anchored in s7. In s8 you see her grown from the recent uni grad that she was in s7 to a mature, controlled woman. It is a mask, as always, and her flaws and assets are still one and the same. After the end of s8, though, she has learnt so much, she can lie both to save her life and to control others, she is smart and quick witted, she is a leader and a control freak, and she has to keep her masks. S9 is a direct result of that, with her lying and cheating and that wanderlust she had at the very beginning becoming recklessness, which all combined lead her into a suicidal attitude. Man, I love Clara Oswald.
Cosette Fauchelevent. I can’t believe that after all these years I can still spell her last name. ANYWAY LET ME SPEAK ABOUT THIS LITTLE SHIT. In the musical, Cosette barely appears and when she does, it is only to sing with Marius about their love and be cute, IN THE BOOK SHE IS ALWAYS MOCKING MARIUS. Marius is a loser no matter what I love you too Marius but Cosette is literally one of the most motherfucking badass characters in the book. I mean, she is literally the embodiment of what Les Amis are fighting for, she is the destitute that rose because someone was kind to her, because everyone can rise, and also everyone can fall--that’s Éponine’s story btw. Also, I cry every time when I read about Valjean trying to hug her as a child and her thinking that he was going to hit her.
Barbara Gordon. Aka Batgirl aka Oracle aka Batgirl again. First of all, comics are not my thing and I’ll admit that I’ve read only a small quantity of them and that I find Batman incredibly boring. But, boy, I love the Batfam. Babs story has changed a lot, because that’s apparently something that comic writers do a lot, so obviously I’m gonna kind of ignore some continuities, but basically Barbara is the daughter of James Gordon aka the Commissioner aka the cop that helps Batman and she wants to be a cop but her father won’t let her so she makes a homemade Batman costume to a Fancy dress party to make her father mad, but some C list villain tries to kidnap Bruce Wayne and she saves him and since nobody knew who she was she becomes Batgirl, eventually earning the seal of approval of Batman himself. She operates mostly alone, though she is friends with Robin/Dick. In some continuities she is older than him, in the current one, they are the same age. Anyway, she was doing it because it was fun, but it is Gotham and it fucks people up, so after Bruce and Dick fight and Dick leaves to be with the Teen Titans, Babs quits being Batgirl to take care of her father. The Joker shows up one day at their place and he shoots her, leaving her paralysed, and takes pictures of her bleeding out, naked, to torture her father. She becomes Oracle, though, a hacker that specialises in fucking villains plans and is a leader to like 3 superhero teams. In the current continuity she is cured and goes back to becoming Batgirl again and everything else is really controversial to get into but that’s why i like it.
· Top three ships?:
Whouffle. Any Doctor and any Clara, I’m in for it. Especial shout out for souffez because it’s been forgotten by the fandom for quite a while now. Also, I love that this was a ship that  was a) kinda love at first sight from the Doctor’s point of view and b) something that grew with friendship from Clara’s point of view and c) something that was both so good that its dissolution was both foretold and feared, but it was a prophecy so it obviously was self fulfilling. Also, I really like that it can be read as either a romance or a friendship even though everyone says it is a romance
Dick and Babs. Friends to Lovers is my favourite romantic trope, well that and when the characters flaws that have nothing to do with a relationship fuck the relationship and hoop boy these two are fucked up. I mean, they worked with Bruce Wayne, they needed to be fucked up. I actually really dislike the current continuity version of their relationship but I still think that it can be saved, like extremely easily saved. Fuck you, Didio.
Jane Eyre and Rochester. Okay, but this book took me by surprise because I thought that it was gonna be one of those creepy romances in which the main dude does a lot of fucked up things and nobody calls him out BUT THIS BOOK DOES THAT AND PUNISHES HIM. Jane takes none of his shit until he learns and even then, she too has to change. I love Jane Eyre.
yo do this if you want @/anyone
