"I just so happen to collect stories, but not always the happy kind. You see, I am a bit of a... curator. I deal in tales of terror.
Now, my darlings, it is time to explore another macabre story, one in which a dreadful tower will decide the fate of our... heroes"

im so obsessed w dread . i have definitely posted abt sagas of sundry before and i love it dearly but i recently got so hard into no rolls barred and THEIR dread oneshot has made me realise that while yes the high production value of SOS absolutely rules its actually just that people im invested in playing the game dread does unspeakable things to my brain and i will never be over how perfectly the mechanics and the genre of dread work together.
additionally it must be said that the nrb dread game will live rent free in my head forever ! in no small part due to the absolutely insane pulls adam was making skjdghksjghskdjgh

Review: Geek and Sundry, "Sagas of Sundry: Dread"
Last week, I reviewed Ivan Van Norman’s appearance on Smosh Games. Now, I’m reviewing him on Geek and Sundry, but we’re still sticking with horror.
I was actually subscribed to Project Alpha (may it rest in peace) when Geek and Sundry had that platform back in the day. It’s where I watched Critical Role, L.A. by Night, and Sagas of Sundry, when that was in production.
But “Dread” is now…

They are diving straight into their terror in order to crush greater evil, but will they succeed?
Or will we find their bones on the cave of their own monsters...

For the SAGAS OF SUNDRY: MADNESS fans...
As I’m able to track down the various tracks of production music used in the series (*NOT* the various character playlists that were created by Ivan and the actors), I’ll be adding them here. I’ve found ten of them already.
Some were found by Shazaming the music, others found via YouTube’s Music ID service.
“Dark Doom” - the music from Mr. Wren’s opening monologues
“Solemn Repose” - the piano waltz from Emmett’s prologue as Sam slowly backs Emmett against the wall
“Lachrymose” - music heard during the skill challenges such as Emmett hanging from the bar or the gang trying to turn on the machine
“Mental Abuse” - not sure yet but I’ll figure this out
“Missing People” - not sure yet but I’ll figure this out
“Paranormal” - not sure yet but I’ll figure this out
“Night Andante” - from Abigail’s prologue during the pull about criminal backgrounds
“Shock” - during some of the jump scares or very intense narrations
“Child’s Fear” - from Abigail’s prologue during the pull about names
“Beyond Reach” - from Emmett’s absolutely INSANE pull to get away from the cultists
Pieces I can’t link because they’re not on Spotify but they ARE identified
“Chalk Line” (Spider Music) - the music used during Emmett’s prologue during his last pull (while Sam is screaming and crying behind him)
“Gone” (Westway Sound) - the piano piece when the fuse is replaced in Fenly’s apartment
“Alone and Scared” (Spider Music) - the music used when Emmett fails his final pull and the Tower falls in Episode 8
