ans a part of me wants to minimize the fact that i made it cause its like samplebased. like "ig but i didnt *actually* make it i just put the pieces together" but like. that doesnt detract from the art!! the fact that that is an idea, that something needs to be wholely original, that something has to reach a certain "bar" of transformity for it to be a valid piece of art, is. its just not true!!!!

music isnt just looking for a melody no one has done before over a chord progression that no ones done before, music xan be anything!! and plunderphonics is the art of putting songs together and seeing what comes of it, putting 2 songs that were never meant to go together and hearing thing you wouldnt have heard otherwise, notes clashing and complimenting each other, THAT is where the art of plunderphonics is. i get very caught up that im not making new melodies with the samples, but its a whole new experience and esp the whole album will be a brand new experience that i cant wait to listen to >w<

ive never felt like this about anything ive made i genuinely kinda feel like a god is working through me i am making music and it just keeps being amazing im so fucking good at this music shit
