I'm of two minds about the Off remaster not using the original soundtrack.

On the one hand, "by the way, you'd be responsible for clearing all of your own samples" is a hell of a thing to drop on an independent composer, and I totally understand why Coldwood would balk at that.

On the other hand, the original Off soundtrack very conspicuously uses an unlicensed and largely unaltered recording of Judy Garland singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", and one can see where a publisher with as large a target on their backs as Fangamer might be thinking "okay, what else in here is going to get our asses sued by Jeff Bezos if this guy isn't forthcoming about the sources of his samples?"

What would a boss fight against Agent 8 sound like? When stripped of all the leitmotifs taken from other sources, whose music are we left hearing? Or are those motifs too intrinsic to remove? Would there be nothing left?

Holy shit, this song that I enjoy, "Gotham Love" by BAKGROUND, begins with a sound clip from what I have always assumed was Dick Grayson and Barbara Gordon in some animated show. I was wrong, it was Terry McGinnis and Ten (Melanie Walker) in the Batman Beyond episode "Dead Man's Hand" at around the 14 minute mark. Image above is the visuals from that part of the episode. (Also, why can't I screenshot images from the shows I'm watching??? When did that become blocked?)

Simple information gained, but mind was blown whenever I actually heard the sample from the source material lol.

A soft, slightly fluffy rectangle I made yesterday. Playing with new techniques - mainly working without a hoop and using a binding stitch on the edge.

I think maybe it's a bookmark? It's about 10cm x 5cm, wool and mohair, just playing on a scrap left over from making costumes for rocks.
