I dont think I've ever share my OCs here before in tumblr. 😅 I created Sanada trio 2-3 years ago which was inspired by none other than gudaguda. Since this was my first time creating from scratch and wasnt satisfied until recently. hope you guys love it!

Uesugi Kagekatsu not only send military aid to Sanada Masayuki in defeating the Tokugawa but sends Yukimura as part of the army to rescue the Sanada, even though Yukimura was sent by Masayuki to the Uesugi as a “hostage” to secure an alliance.

Normally, a political hostage is not supposed to leave the territory of his host to prevent desertion and betrayal but the Uesugi trusts Yukimura that they allow him the lead the army. Masayuki finds the Uesugi strong trust of others bewildering. 

Yukimura finally understands why his sister, Hatsune, is attracted to Kanetsugu, as she finds the Uesugi sense of justice in a world full of treachery to be refreshing and touching. Masayuki decided that he made the right decision allying with the Uesugi.

Then I decided to go even More Extra by making the Battle Event horse too. 

Man, eventually I’m gonna have made enough Masayuki edits to make a real full route WTF. Right now I have a castle, castle items, route clear avatars, cheebs, and Crossroad CGs. I’m still missing a Divine ending CG, the Crossroad clearance avatars, and a few additional items to make for the castle to fill up 3 gachas.

Historically the reason why Takeda isn’t available to help is because they’re gone, toast, and kapoofed into oblivion. Even Nobunaga’s already dead. This big mess is approximately in 1583, since the Sanada didn’t even get to have Numata until after Honnouji happened.  

After Nobunaga died, the Oda is in chaos. Hojo, Uesugi, and Tokugawa took the opportunity to pounce on the former Takeda territories. The Oda vassals stationed there was defeated. One commander died, and the rest fled back “home” (roundabout Mino, Owari, and Oumi). In the territory squabbles that ensued, Masayuki captured Numata Castle, and then allied himself with Tokugawa.

Afterwards, Hojo and Tokugawa themselves agreed to make an alliance, and Ieyasu offered Numata to Hojo as part of the agreement. Masayuki was offended, as he considered Numata as “his own” property, and left the Tokugawa for Uesugi. And it begins a series of disputes that more or less continued on until Hideyoshi becomes the ruler. 

Jinpachi’s route timeline is so strange, I don’t even know why is it like this. The start of the route is something that historically happened when Masayuki does not even exist yet, let alone Nobuyuki and Yukimura. And now we just abandon the entire Takeda career and skip straight to post-Honnouji. 

There’s... actually a lot of battles that Sanada fought under Takeda banner that isn’t just Kawanakajima, Mikatagahara, or Nagashino. I never understood why Voltage’s writers seems to adamantly refuse to write about any of those. Those battles are on Wikipedia. It’s not like it’s hard to search about.

Sanada Nobushige died at Mount Koya but resurrected as Sanada Yukimura. His brother, Sanada Nobuyuki was ordered by Tokugawa Ieyasu to get rid of his father’s name, Yuki, to severe ties with the Sanada to demonstrate his loyalty to the Tokugawa. 

So now Nobushige decides to change his name and take his father’s name, Yuki, which his brother had given up in order to demonstrate his loyalty to the Sanada as a message to the Tokugawa as he prepares to return to the Capital and fight for Toyotomi Hideyori.

Some interesting brief historical infos i wanted to share about him and of course the source was Wikipedia

( including his relations to Masamune, Kojuro which was previously mentioned and even Mitsunari!!!)

Thats how they described him, Sanada Yukimura whose real name was Sanada Nobushige, a well known Japenese samurai of the sengoku period, second son of Sanada Masayuki who used to be Takeda Shingen’s servant , his elder brother was Sanada Nobuyuki.

He married the daughter of Otani Yoshitsugu and adopted one of Toyotomi Hideyoshi : Chikurin-in to whome his first wife lost her statue 

He did join the western army with his father during the battle of Sekigahara alongside Ishida Mitsunari who decided to challenge Ieyasu Tokugawa.

It is said that he built a fortress called Sanada maru defended by 7000 men under his command during the winter siege of osaka castle ( series of battles undertaken by the Tokugawa shogunate against the Toyotomi clan, and ending in that clan’s destruction) and from there he defeated the Tokugawa froces and made him suffer many losses .

He fought against Date Masamune’s forces during the summer siege of osaka castle ,Sanada Yukimura was in command of the osaka army ,The fight took place at around 12:00 and by 5:00 PM he made the decision to retreat towards Osaka Castle.

He was killed by a Tokugawa Samurai who reconized him and charged forward issuing a challenge during Battle of Tennōji and took advantage of Yukimura’s exhauation who was Unable to muster the strength to fight , he acknowledged who he was and took off his helmet. Seconds later, his life came to an abrupt end. ( i feel like crying ...)

He had 3 sons : 

-Daisuke (oldest child and eldest son) 

-Daihachi (second son, adopted by Katakura Kojuro’s son and his borther in law the Sanada name was restored to his line generations later )

-Yukinobu ( born two months after the death of his father)

And 7 daughters :

-Sue/Kiku (oldest daughter) 

-Okane ( had a memorial built for her father and mother in Kyoto )

-Ichi ( second daughter)

-Oume ( married Katakura Kojuro’s son after her father’s death , it was Thanks to her,that the surviving members of the Sanada clan and all of their retainers were able to find refuge in the Katakura clan. The Katakura crest was even changed to show the 6 coin symbol of the Sanada. )

-Naho

-Akuri ( adopted by a Tokugawa vassal)

-Oshobu ( also adopted by her brother in law and Katakura Kojuro’s son, she married a retainer of Date Masamune)
