So you have a peak meet-cute for Miko and Ev; her having no clue who he is and being all smug about her Miko’s dance cover to his song when they meet. so I hc that after, Ev starts following Miko on social media to see her dance covers, but follows her from a private account so she doesn’t know it’s him.

I always think that Ev’s mind blown by how flexible Miko is, not even in a sexual way but just in a ‘how the actual fuck can someone do that??’

Ev genuinely liking the fact that Miko doesn’t know him as some famous superstar/model—like of all the things to attract him to someone, that’s it.

^ but before getting together I think he’d really worry and stress about Miko finding out fake scandalous stuff about him that changes her perception of him.

Fast-forward to their relationship, after a lot of persuasion, I expect Ev to hop on these coupley TikTok trends and before like award/fashion shows they go to together, I see Miko and him doing videos like this and this to show their outfits (<- especially the second one w/ Ev just admiring Miko)

If Miko asked Evren more than once to teach her guitar then he’d literally buy her a brand new one, ask her to name it, probably have it at his penthouse and say it’s hers so she can practice with it whenever she wants.

Him asking Miko what she thinks of a particular song he’s writing because he knows she just won’t say ‘oh, it’s great’, he genuinely trusts her opinion.

I imagine the media realising they’re in a relationship, and the media being them, they’d probably link Evren to someone else.

^ And whilst Evren’s reading or smth Miko would probably end up saying “I think [insert celebrity] fancies you” “right…okayyy” “that’s all you’ve got to say?” and Evren’s all invested in his book but looks up and says “It’s probably bullshit, but even if it’s true I’ve only got eyes for you, Sanada. Ev realising that Miko is the best escapism from his famous career, especially whilst he’s on tour. Even more so when the media are being particularly difficult. And that’s evident when he texts her at stupid o’clock when he’s feeling anxious.

Ev wearing Inter City jerseys with Miko’s name on the back…but at some point realising that Acevedo on her football jerseys would look cool too, so in his head he’s thinking “gonna marry her one day.”

^ okayyy, I don’t know Miko’s thoughts on marriage, but I hc that if/when Evren has these thoughts he goes to Cypress and has this heart to heart with him and says “you’re my best friend and I value your opinion, do you think I’d be a good person to marry?” (<- because self-doubt!)

okokokokokokok this is literally one of my favorite parts about their relationship and i didn’t realize how well they go together like we already know that miko only knows evren at best as her coach’s son. like all he was to her was a nepo baby 😭 but evren being so vocal about what he likes about miko is just…. what she needs. like if there’s one thing she needs from evren, it would be that i think. she trusts him and she’s generally not insecure but she sees the celebrities being linked to him and they’re everything she’s not so hearing evren tell her he only wants her is just UGH her heart would go whoosh actually and she’d feel herself fall in love with him again and again each time 🥹💓

Patching Up (Akihiko x Reader)

Summary: After an intense fight against Arcana Hermit, and dealing with Chidori on the roof, the group of heads back to the dorms to figure out what’s next. Burs someone is hiding how hurt they truly are, and you’re not about to let him suffer in silence.

“I can’t believe I didn’t sense Chidori. It’s my only power, and yet…”

Fuuka’s sentence drifts off as she loses herself in thought. The rest of the group have gone on ahead to deal with Chidori and check on Junpei, so right now it was just you reassuring Fuuka as you both descend the stairs to join them.

“Cheer up Fuuka!” It’s probably like Ikutski said, she must have some connection with this Medea persona that blocks her from being sensed, just like you use Lucia to scan Tartarus.”

“Maybe, but still… They were on the roof and I didn’t even know! Who knows what could’ve happened to Junpei in all that time”

“None of us knew either, so don’t feel too bad about it. It just means we all have to work harder to make sure nothing like this happens again. And we can do that together!”

“You’re right… Thanks (Y/N). Now come on, the others are probably waiting for us.”

With a quick hug on the second floor, the pair of you rush down to the ground floor. And just like Fuuka guessed, everyone was sitting on the sofas and resting themselves

“Well, that could’ve gone better.” Mitsuru sighs, as she sits up more on the armchair she’s occupied, now that she sees the two of you enter the room.

“Yeah, I hope Junpei is ok, he went straight to his room after the whole thing… Not that I’m worried or anything, he always bounces back from things.” Yukari contributes, laying on one of the sofas she and Ken are sharing.

“Well, we’ll have to speak about it with him in the morning. I’m sure that he just wants to get some rest after this whole ordeal that’s happened today. In the meantime, Aigis and Ikutski are escorting her to the hospital and we can question her tomorrow as well. Akihiko, are you able to come with me to do that?”

“...What? Oh yeah, sure, no problem…” Akihiko replies from the other sofa distractedly.

Taking note of this, you glance at Akihiko from your place, leaning on the other armchair were Makoto is sitting. Outwardly, he looks like he usually does; itching for the next fight and making sure everyone’s ok. But he’s crossing his arms across his chest… and grabbing one of his sides?

“In that case, I suggest we all get some rest and prepare for tomorrow. It may not be a school day, but there’s lots to do tomorrow, and we need to plan our next move against Strega and whatever it is they plan to do. Goodnight everyone.” And having wished everyone a goodnight, she heads upstairs to her room.

Slowly, everyone says their goodnights as well, making their way upstairs to their respected rooms… except for Akihiko. As you’re about to make your way upstairs as well, you realize Akihiko is just sitting on the sofa, as if he’s waiting for everyone to go before he does. Knowing that he likes privacy, but not willing to let him suffer in silence, you wait until you can’t hear your friends anymore and head back towards him.

“Hey, are you ok? I noticed you grabbing your side while Mitsuru was talking.” You asked, trying to lower your voice as to not scare him or alert your friends. But it seems that it didn’t work, as he still jumped a little at your voice.

“Oh (Y/N)! I thought you’d gone with the others. No, I’m fine, don’t worry about it.” He replied, trying to get up off of the sofa. But as he straightened up, he winced a bit and grabbed his side again. As soon as you saw that, you were by his side, gently supporting him as he leans against the arm of the sofa.

“You’re clearly not as fine as you think you are. What’s wrong with your side?” You asked, trying not to touch his side in case it hurts.

“It’s nothing (Y/N), it’s probably just a combination of the battering the hermit gave us and the match this afterno-”

“YOU HAD A MATCH THE DAY YOU KNEW YOU WERE FIGHTING TOUGH SHADOWS!?!?” You exclaimed, sitting him down on the sofa again and rushing to the kitchen for the first aid box.

“I have to get stronger somehow! It’s good to get practice in whenever I can, especially if the shadows are getting stronger.” He sighed, exasperated at what he believes is an over-exaggeration of the situation.

“Come on Aki... You need to take care of yourself sometimes too. You can’t just worry about everyone’s health. Now let me take care of you.” You reply, almost pleading with him as you return with the first aid box and open it up.

“...Fine. But only because it’s you.” Blushing, and refusing to look you in the eye, he gingerly takes off his school vest and carefully lifts up his shirt to expose his left side.

You can see that he put in the work at training because his side is bruised to hell and back. His side is covered in blue, purple and yellow bruises from what must have been training with his coach, and you can also see where the hermit must have bashed it as well, because there are faint lines of red scratches there as well, as if his wirey arms scraped across it. You can’t believe he didn’t scream out in pain during the fight, and you almost want to argue with him more about how he needs to rest, but you know he’ll just say he needs to get stronger. So biting your lip for the moment, you get the bandages and the ointment and gently wrap up his wound, taking care not to make him wince. After you’re done patching him up, he puts down his shirt and grabs his vest, still not looking you in the eye yet.

“I know you don’t like the fuss Aki, I just don’t like it when you get hurt and focus on everyone else. You deserve to be taken care of too. You don’t always have to be the strong, unbreaking senior all the time.” You say, wrapping your arms around his neck and hugging him, which he returns almost immediately.

“I know… and I’m working on allowing others to help me when there’s a problem I can’t sort on my own,” He slowly pulls away from the hug to look at your face and smiles down at you. “I just don’t want to cause a fuss because of my injuries. I’m a boxer, I’m used to being injured at this point.”

“Then instead of thinking it as a fuss, how about we make it into a challenge then! We don’t have school tomorrow, so if you promise to rest up, and stop worrying about everyone else’s health, I’ll take you Hagakure Ramen for beef bowls. My treat!”

“...Heh, I’ll take you up on that offer. After me and Mitsuru question Chidori at the hospital, we can go.” He agrees, ruffling your hair and getting up from the sofa and heading to his room.

“Great! But you know the deal, you’ve gotta rest, so go to bed!” You exclaim, chicking a pillow at him from the sofa.

“ Hey! Same goes for you! Otherwise, you’re a hypocrite!” He laughs, catching the pillow and chucking it right back at you, noticing the tiredness in your eyes as well. And just on cue, a yawn escapes your mouth, making him laugh even more.

“C’mon, we could both do with the rest.” He finishes, pulling you up from the sofa and heading upstairs to your respective rooms with you. And with a quick hug and a kiss to the temple from Akihiko when you reach the second floor, you head to bed, thinking about everything that’s transpired today and how on earth you and your friends are going to take the next steps to beat these shadows and Strega.

Random Inbox Shenanigans || anonymous || always accepting! 

Upon considering what I know as recaps and spoilers, what I have seen in numerous trailers, what I heard from some of my friends and even watching the prediction videos, I would have to say YES and NO. YES simply because I really don’t vibe with this reboot as much as let’s say, Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge, because neither plot or character development sound impressive and I guesstimate that it will become an afterthought, as Warner Bros. isn’t known for doing live action films well as nearly as their animations. And it will also be hugely disappointing knowing that a lot of the best scenes of the movie are in the red band trailer already (aka Scorpion vs. Sub-Zero fight, and so on, specifically where Hanzo/Scorpion appears - aka the origin of Scorpion part that will literally kick off the movie as Hanzo dismantles the assassins led by Sub-Zero with brutal efficiency).  

What if the fight between Scorpion and Sub-Zero became the main event, with two franchise-defining characters given considerable and significant lore, instead of utilizing them as the side-action? Hiroyuki Sanada and Joe Taslim are such marvelous actors and that’s literally going to be my main focus, along with Hanzo’s transformation; ‘family man changed to fighting machine’ transpires. Upon reading the spoilers, I do really like the fact that Hanzo Hasashi has two children; Satoshi and an unnamed daughter (whom I have already named Koharu - meaning Small/Heart; Spring/Summer in a thread with @sonxflight (x)) and the fact that she survives. While I do like the idea of Hanzo/Scorpion having his descendent, I just don’t like the fact that Cole Young sounds too much of a self-insert, or a thirsting OC who wanted to be in connection with Hanzo/Scorpion, as obviously that would make Hanzo/Scorpion Cole’s ancestor, whom he is going to get help in defeating Sub-Zero. 

I mean, Mortal Kombat itself is known for dumbing down on character development and giving them much-needed depth, but this also unfortunately applies to the movie as well, so it seems, who either have no backstory or incredibly derivative ones. It’s especially evident with Cole Young, who to me, just feels like a passive protagonist with a cliche ‘chosen one’ backstory. I can take my educated and very subjective knowing to the exception to this is Scorpion, simply because I know how masterful Hiroyuki Sanada’s performance would be, for he was a spot-on casting for Hanzo/Scorpion. For Raiden.... I’m even more disappointed with him, because despite Tadanobu Asano being such a remarkable actor, I do not vibe with his whole look at all. A wise casting, but just like everything else except Sanada, it seems to fall apart rather short and a disappointing matter. 

In the end, I will have to decide after I watch the movie myself on April 23rd, but at this moment, I will most likely scrape the parts I do not like and take on the plot and lore to make it better, but as @bastardsunlight eloquently put it, it’s YES I WILL BECAUSE IT NEEDS HELP.

1- N (Pokemon)

When will he return from the war-

Ferriswheel shipping flashbacks because honestly? When will Pokemon give us a character as good as N again

2- Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)

Ah, Fullmetal is basically responsible for me being a weeb lol

While everyone else can do an analysis of his complexity, I simply will say Edward is the sort of character I love as protagonists of anime-

Love how he isn’t either too serious or too goofy. Hmm it’s hard to me to say what I like specifically about him lol. 

Maybe it’s just nostalgia

3- Edmond Dantes (Fate Grand Order)

Ah yes, the current husband of mine- discount Komaeda. 

By seeing my art you should realize how much i love him lol

4- Nanami Kiryuu (Revolutionary Girl Utena)

YOu see, normally I DESPISE characters like Nanami, even after they develop as characters since most of the time they end up being “mean because inferiority complex” HOWEVER Nanami doesn’t have that, she is great and she know’s it!

(Also most of the time, these types of characters aren’t really used comically- and I don’t mean in the sense of “Haha the bully girl got what she deserved!” but instead of this character getting themselves in comical situations)

But it’s the way she matures across the show what made her my favorite among the cast. I love the cast and the show as a whole- but if I had to pick one character among them, it’s Nanami.

5- Akihiko Sanada (Persona 3)

I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS-

But jokes aside Akihiko is my favorite character in Persona 3 (well....close tie with Shinjiro BUT).

He is just (lies on the floor) THE character I always romance because his route is just so cute and makes me feel warm and fuzzy having FEELINGS-

And I remember distincly rejecting his advances on accident and then realizing what I did and going “D:!!!!”

THis man right here was my REAL introduction to HAVING FEELINGS for anime men and I’ll never forgive HI-

6- Xion (Kingdom Hearts)

Shoutout to the firsts characters who I made deeper that the author intended.

If you ever have to fight agains me set it to Vector to the Heavens- if you have to avenge me set it to Another Side while you fight. 

Do you fucking know how I was at 12 years old?? No friends, no homework playing KH 358/2 days??? How much I got attached to Roxas and Xion as a lonely girl who was just discovering things about friendship?

so I’ll ramble on about my interpretations on them because i’ll make it as deep as i want-

The way in which they form a friendship related on both knowing about the keyblade and having no memories from their previous life and the way in which it all comes tumbling down thanks to things outside of their control and how much they try to stop it- 

The way Xion is willing to sacrifice herself for a greater good fully knowing that what the Organization is doing is bad and would endanger the worlds at large and how she, on her own accord, chooses to return her memories to sora even if it means dissapearing from the memories from everyone and truly dying in every sense of the world- all while having to run away from the organization because she would drain all the life from roxas because that was how she was created as a puppet-!

And the final clash! the way in which xion uses all of her power left to fight against the control of the organization because she wants roxas to slay her because she would rather die and lend her power to roxas instead of killing him and being used by the organization!

The way that final fight got integrated into the story! how she warns roxas when she will attack, or how she screams at him “STOP HOLDING BACK!” as her last efforts as an individual hanging to the remnants of their bond-!

As an extra note I’m so glad they didnt “end up together”- it was a good showcase of two teens who had a solid friendship that didn’t need to be turned into a romance because they already love eachother as friends!!!

So as you can see i have a lot of feelings for Xion-

7- Kishinami Hakuno (Fate/Extra)

SHOUTOUT to my favorite protagonist in the Fate Franchise she is so good and I just,,,,,,,,,love her?????

(if you pick Male Hakuno you are absolutely invalid)

So I completly love how she ends up inderectly being a subversion of the “amnesiac character self insert” because she NEEDS to start in a black slate for her to grow.

Love how sassy she can be in the dialouge options and SHE ALLOWED SABER ARCHER AND CASTER TO GROW AS PEOPLE and-

8-Kcalb (The Gray Garden)

He is so good :c when will he return from the hiatus.

Honestly he is the best character in the game and I love his interactions with Etihw and honestly he defined what 14 year old me loves in character design. AESTHETICS

9-Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog)

Of Course I had to add the one who started this mess.

Sonic the Hedgehog deserves a better writting team than the one he has! SONIC’S CHARACTER PEAKED IN THE FICKUGGN SIDE GAME SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT BUT EVERYONE IS LIKE “HAHA WHAT A BAD RETELLING OF ARTHURIANA”-

So anyways- Sonic the Hedgehog in the GOOD games with story is someone who never gives up no matter how hard or grim everything may seem, and how he shows kindness to those who needs it, who does what HE feels is the right thing, no matter what everyone else may say and maybe I’m reading too deep but this lil fucker whas the first videogame I ever *emulated* owned and had been a part of my childhood since I learned what the Internet was- I pirated the entire anime and took a REAL liking to drawing thanks to him.

10-Steven Quartz Universe (Steven Universe)

I have a lot of feelings for Steven Universe as a show- and especially his protagonist.

When the show started everyone complained how annoying Steven was- but I never found him annoying? I really like how he has “traditionally femenine” traits and powers (healing, shielding, crying a lot) and isn’t shamed for it? The show has MANY problems but it I LOVE it.

And, since the start of the series I liked Steven, I love how he develops in the show, and honestly so many moments I saw myself in him- and then came Steven Universe Future which he explores his trauma after the events of the series- just everything about him just hit’s home- even more than I expected (the cactus Steven-)

How Steven goes from viewing the Gems as these all knowing powerful mother figures- and how he feels as if he has to live up to their expectations, and the impossible barrier set up by his mother at the start of the series-

(How later he view’s himself as a fraud- and how he doesn’t “pay the consequenses” and he is just “as bad as his mother”- the internalized self hatred, his drifting friends and represed trauma- I’m glad the show does this- I don’t think I would have self reflected as much as I did without this show)

Steven Universe is a show I hold close to my heart, so do I with it’s protagonist.
