the easiest place to smooch upon!!! though, with someone like calcharo, it’s either a lose lose situation or a win win situation and there is sadly no in between

in win win situation, you would manage to get a reaction out of him. see how his cheeks turn a cute shade of pink, slight pout tugging on his lips as his eyes widen before furrowing at you. like the secretly yearning lover he is, he would tug on your sleeve, asking for a proper kiss instead of a fake one

however, in lose lose situation, you won’t be able to land a single fucking kiss on this man. he will either straight up dodge your love assaults or place a hand over your mouth, stopping your kisses with a “enough. i’m working” or “the hounds are watching me right now”

he finds it adorable that you yank down the collars of his clothes to place a kiss on his tacet mark, a sweet gesture of affection that makes him go doki-doki

if you’re on the shyer side of things, it’s okay. yuanwu is a gentleman after all, he will take off his hat and hold it over the two of you as you place a kiss on his tacet mark. but be warned that he will pull you in for a proper kiss on the lips afterwards if he takes off his hat

yuanwu loves cats and hot teas but he loves you more, so whatever you ask, whenever you ask to place a kiss on his tacet mark, he will simply chuckle and lower himself to your level like the gentleman he is. sometimes, he even kisses the back of your hand after you kiss his tacet mark as a form of returning the affection

resonator aalto’s tacet mark is also on his neck too! except it’s on the left side of his neck and compared to yuanwu, aalto doesn’t really wear clothes that covers his tacet mark so it’s easier for you to smooch upon!

the most overdramatic reactor out of everyone. giggling, kicking his feet, tucking a hair behind his ear, blushing and going “owhh stop it you~!” — the whole pack. aalto’s a tease and a drama queen so don’t be surprised if he starts swooning over you and your kiss on his tacet mark after you pull away

Her face becomes so red, the way your fingers trace the mark afterward sends shivers down her body and she turns her face away from you out of embarrassment.

Baizhi- ya'll the mark on her thigh is so mmm the milky thicc thighs ngh 😩 the way you kneel in front of her is already embarrassing enough, then the way you caress her legs before kissing the mark on her thigh makes her tremble and let out a soft hum. It had been a while since you saw Sanhua, she was always on missions or doing paperwork. Which you understood as it was her job but you are one of her friends. You hoped she'd make time for you. That's why you're on your way to the city hall. To surprise her and ask her out for a drink, whenever she has the time.

The guards had stopped you from entering. "It's fine. Let them in," her expression was stern. "What's your business?" You looked around the hall for a bit before answering. "I just wanted to see you." Sanhua knows she's been negligent with your friendship. The guilt has been eating her away.

She really cares for you but with everything going on. Rover appeared, the fractsidus, Jué and everything else. She feels as if she'd been stretched thin. "And ask if you want to go out for a drink. I know your break starts in a few minutes. I can wait." You were right. There was no looming threat as of now a break wouldn't hurt.

You choose a nearby café and Sanhua seemed happy with that choice. You had a wonderful time talking and catching up which only made Sanhua realise how careless she'd been. She'd missed this. You and her just being together. She missed you and didn't want to be apart from you anymore.

Although it's inevitable, she still asked. "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" You were shocked. Sanhua's question made you understand that your feelings had been love. "Yes! Very much," then she kissed you. It was gentle, just a peck. You hope many more will follow.

Your palms felt sweaty as you stood up with your classmates, forming a line as the MC of the event called names and listed their awards apart from the diploma.

‘God I wonder if I have an award or am I just going to get a diploma..?’ you worriedly thought. You wore a well planned outfit under your toga that reached a few inches below your knees. Your hat was loose and would nearly fall every time you'd bow at the given time.

The tassel of the cap would sway, sometimes hitting your cheeks or getting tangled with your hair, it was beginning to be annoying at this point.

You were graduating and you were so very afraid to mess up. What if your toga wasn't ironed? was it wrinkly? were your shoes polished?

Hands reached to try and smoothen the nonexistent wrinkles of your toga you even looked down to check your shoes when you realize they were in fact not polished, but it didn't look bad at all, you were just too deep into your graduation blues and worries ‘am I underdressed? or maybe overdressed? do I look plain? or too extravagant-?!’

Your schoolmate that sat nearby called your name in a hushed manner, you stared at them until you realized they were motioning for you to move up the line so you quickly scampered.

"[your full name]" the MC announced as you robotically found yourself walking up the stairs and onto the stage where your principal and school director were there with your diploma and medals for your achievements.

╰┈➤ Sanhua was already in college, she was the secretary for her college's student council president. So she was skilled in preparation, meetings, and so on.

╰┈➤ The white haired beauty approached you after your graduation, greeting you with a smile as she was proud of you. She knew you worked hard to be able to graduate and you deserved your diploma and the medals you were awarded with.

╰┈➤ She didn't come alone or empty handed. Beside her was Jinhsi but that would be for another part. In her hands was a sentimental gift she known you'd appreciate and a bouquet of wintry bells wrapped in pure white floral wrapping, tied together with a ribbon dyed with the color of her eyes and of course a note.

As the ceremony officially ended and the faculty that was part of the graduation had left or more or less scattered, talking with their students. You relaxed, chatting with your classmates, hugging and congratulating one another.

"It's your friend" A classmate tapped you and motioned to a figure that was approaching you. You smiled at the older female as you quickly made your way, through the crowds and groups, to her.

You greeted her with a warm and friendly smile "Sanhua! Thanks for coming!" You'd say and looked at her, silently communicating if you could hug her or not.

The stoic yet kind secretary opened her arms and you quickly enveloped her in a hug. "Congratulations [name]." she said reciprocating your hug but you winced as her gift accidentally hit you wrong at your back.

"Oh sorry" she quickly released you and handed you your gifts, you smelled the subtle scent of the wintry bells and you could vaguely feel the coldness. "It's okay, thank you for the gifts you didn't have to."

"Just you being here for my graduation is enough but aren't you busy with your projects?" you questioned as you stood side by side at the corner watching the people interact with each other.

For someone like Sanhua privacy and alone time was what she had preferred and you didn't mind, you had already greeted your friends anyways and some of your teachers.

"It's alright, I'm on schedule for most of my deadlines." She told you and you believed her, it was Sanhua after all, she was always reliable, hardworking and straight-laced.

"Have you thought about college?" She suddenly asked you, turning her eyes on you as she watched you scrunched up your face. "Oh come on, I just graduated, I wanna have fun!"

Her lips quirked in amusement, her hand made its way to your back "All right then, why don't we go to the mall? get some food?" She suggested and on cue, your stomach growls.

"Sounds great, I had a light breakfast and now I'm starving" you sigh in relief as you both walk towards the exit of the venue.

You laced your fingers with her's and you hummed in satisfaction, your lips quirked to a grin as you told her "I'm thinking about going to Jinzhou Academy,"

Her eyes seemed to shine, that was her college too. "It's close, has a good reputation and my favorite secretary is right there."

"Just secretary?" she repeated her lips mirroring your own.

"An amazing girl, beautiful, talented, hardworking, one of my greatest friends" you listed up as she chuckled.

You smiled at her warmly, thanking her for coming and saying that she didn't have to knowing her busy schedules considering her school year hasn't quite ended.

"You don't need to worry, I have already dealt with most of the urgent itinerary I have." She assured you and handed you a bouquet of flowers, and a small present. "Oh thank you Jinhsi! I'm sorry I couldn't get you anything. ."

She chuckled "you don't need to, why would I even get anything when it's your graduation." she told you and your cheeks flushed at the reminder, "it's just, you're one of my most cherished friends and you treat me well." you reasoned "you deserve a gift for all your hardwork too."

It was her turn to blush at your words, she usually didn't get flustered much but considering your sincere and genuine nature she couldn't help it.

And with that, the two of you left, you bid goodbye to your classmates and friends and even thanked your professors with Jinhsi, and then you went off, having decided that the two of you should go watch one of the shows at the Jinzhou Theater.

your cheeks were flushed in embarrassment as your friends from class giggles and tease you about your friend that came to watch you graduate. Scar was your senior here in school and he had already graduated in a grand way that definitely left a mark in your school.

He basically did a huge ass prank which nearly burned down the last venue.

It was honestly a miracle how he graduated with his track record, you had suspected the school had given up on him and just handed him to be his current college's problem.

Scar offered you a simply gift, a bouquet of roses with a few baby breaths here and there, wrapped in black wrapping paper, and accompanying it was a cute plushie of a lamb holding a pink tulip, one that you had seen in pinterest boards.

You'd seen leave the venue, pulling scar along to make sure he doesn't cause anymore trouble as the two of you went to somewhere to have fun.

Trapped in his Elysium, you’re ready to fight to the end to avoid the “evolution” Scar so desperately wants from you. But you’ve underestimated that he’ll let it all burn to ashes in order to get what he really wants—you.

Warnings: Yandere behavior, forced imprisonment, brief depictions of mild violence/gore. Ends in a cliffhanger so lmk if I should write some follow up content… Also because WuWa is so new I’m not familiar with all the lore yet so bear with me!

Sweat drips down your face and into your eyes, blurring your vision. Your breathing is shallow, too fast, and you can barely hear over the sound of your pounding heart and rushing blood. The grip on your broadsword tightens as you ground yourself back into reality and face your opponent.

Just in time; the next attack thrown at you is dodged with milliseconds to spare. Claws graze your skin as you twirl and swing your weapon down, seeing your opening—only to be met with a kick that sends you flying back once again.

Your worn and bruised body tumbles along the ground, littering your skin with even more injuries. Something rips across your back as you roll, and you cry out in pain at the burn. Your broadsword flies in the opposite direction, leaving you defenseless.

The world spins, and sounds fade to a dull ringing in your ears as a pair of red boots fills your line of sight.

“Awww, giving up so soon? And just when we were starting to have fun!” The sensation of leather against your chin as your head is lifted upwards by the toe of the boot. Gritting your teeth, your eyes lock with heterochromatic red and black, the gaze that has been haunting you, hunting you.

Scar tilts his head, peering down at you with a smug, lopsided grin. A glowing card twirls on the tip of his index finger. He thinks he likes you like this—at his feet, peppered with scars from his claws, at his mercy. The color red suits you; he imagines licking up the blood from your wounds, and his smirk grows.

“Fuck you,” you snarl, slapping his foot away as you struggle to your knees. Coughing, you turn your head and spit, staining the ground crimson. You quickly wipe your forearm across your mouth and begin to stand, only to be met with the edge of a searing card to your neck. One wrong move and you’re sure the Overseer won’t hesitate to burn that ram insignia into your neck.

In fact, he’d probably prefer to brand you. You’re well aware that this man views you as his prey, delusional enough to think that he has a claim over you.

Scar clicks his tongue sympathetically, but his smile reveals he’s relishing your suffering all too much. “You understand how futile this is, right? My Elysium can only be disrupted by coordinated attacks from both sides—and believe me, my dear, I ensured that no one is coming to save you.”

For a moment your stomach drops, before you steel your nerves. No, you have to hold onto the hope that your allies—Rover, Jinhsi, Sanhua, all of Jinzhou—are alive and fighting to free you. Without that belief…you swallow thickly.

As if sensing your thoughts, the Overseer sighs loudly. “Even when it’s just the two of us, you can never focus solely on me! It hurts my feelings, you know.” He spreads his arms wide, gesturing to the domain in which he’s had you trapped for Sentinels’ know how long. “I even whisked you away on this little date for my big proposal! So how about you finally listen to me?”

“I’m listening,” you grind out—as you swiftly unsheath the dagger at your thigh and swing it up towards his ribs.

The weapon is immediately severed in two by his flaming card, likely thrown even before you reacted. The pieces thud uselessly to the ground.

“Ah ah ah,” he tuts, kneeling down and gripping your chin in a vice that makes you squirm. He barks out a laugh as you thrash to no avail. “So stubborn! Do I have to crush you to make you behave for once?”

Teeth bared, you lunge at his hand with your teeth, but he as you pinned. “You’re a maniac!”

His grin only widens, pulling taut to the corners of his mouth. “Self proclaimed!” Scar leans in, so close you can feel his breath on your sweaty skin, too hot from the heat searing around you. Your heart plummets as he scours over your face, eyes lingering on your lips for far too long before he tilts his chin up and away teasingly.

After numerous encounters, countless clashes of ideals and battles later—all of which he orchestrated, just to see you again—Scar has learned your patterns, your tells. He knows exactly how to rile you up, and it’s when your emotions get the better of you that he gains the upper hand like this. He finds you utterly irresistible wearing that glowering scowl on your lips, though he’d prefer to kiss it away…or bite those lips until they bleed.

“Well, now that I’m down on one knee,” he giggles, “how about we get back to the reason I brought you here, hm? My proposal?”

“I told you before,” you growl, “you’ll have to kill me before I willingly join the Fractsidus.”

By this point, you’ve lost count of the number of times you’ve “serendipitously” crossed paths with Scar—his way of phrasing stalking—and heard this same speech. How the Fractsidus, how he, wants you, needs you. How he sensed the difference in your frequency, how you’ve been selected to lead the new line of humans, capable of fusing with Tacet Discords. That you should abandon your principles, your friends and city, to stand by his side as the true Lament brings about the next evolution of your species.

No matter how many times you told him off or sparred with him, he persisted. Almost as if your rejections only fueled his obsession with you and your abilities, the urge you had to fight every time you encountered an Echo.

“That hunger,” he’d said, stalking towards you as he gazed at the top of the Tacet Mark between your collarbones, the rest of which disappeared vertically down your sternum, “I felt it too. If you would just embrace it, like me, you’d know what true power feels like. Join me, and we can usher in the future.”

“Tsk, another missed opportunity.” That round, you whirled around to find him perched on a rooftop, observing as your Pengu Terminal sucked in the golden Echo of a Fusion Dreadmane. “Imagine having those abilities all for yourself! Does that really sound so bad?”

“I’m getting impatient, my dear.” You’d been expecting him that time, but not so close, chest pressed firmly against your back—and certainly not the talon-tipped finger he’d sensually traced up your chest, lining your Mark. “You’d better start seriously considering my deal, or else there may be consequences. And I’d so hate to hurt you.”

Today must have been your ultimatum.

“Normally I would just dispose of you,” he shrugs, as if chatting about the weather and not murder, “but you’re a special case. I have different plans for you, my dear.”

Now it’s your turn to laugh. “You’re even crazier than I imagined, then, if you think I’ll consider anything you have to say.”

“Are you sure? I thought a hero type such as yourself would be begging to know.”

He’s baiting you, and like a fish to a fly, you fall into the obvious trap. “What, you’ll keep me imprisoned here until I give in? Pull out a diamond ring?”

Your attitude falters at the devious smirk he flashes you. “Not quite.”

The sound of snapping fingers, and the Elysium domain rapidly melts away—only to pull away the curtain and reveal the horrifying truth behind.

“No,” you breathe as the reality of his plan sinks in.

The outline of the city materializes around you. Not Jinzhou. In fact, based on the sheer level carnage—buildings in ruin, bodies strewn across the streets, blood painting the ground in splatters of bright crimson—you’re positive there are no Resonators for miles. No one is coming to save these people—it’s as if they were placed here for the slaughter, lambs delivered to the beast that rages before you.

Sensing your arrival, the Tacet Discord known as the Delirium Lioness spins and snarls, baring saber-teeth smeared with the gore of its latest victim. It claws at the ground with massive purple and grey paws, readying to charge. That is when you notice the teddy bear crushed under its gait, and your mind shatters.

It was all an illusion. The whole time you were trapped in Elysium was to stall for this—Scar had the Lioness dropped into this innocent town, knowing that you would stop at nothing to eradicate it and save those whom you still could. And you know exactly what the asking price will be.

You don’t even think twice before you react. Broadsword in hand, having reappeared once the domain broke, you lunge to meet the TD in combat—and in doing so, you sign your own fate.

The sound of steel meeting bone rings through the air as the Delirium Lioness parries your first strike with its fangs. You strain as it bites down on the blade, attempting to crush your weapon. With a roar, you send a shockwave of Spectro through the blade, blasting the TD backwards. Bystanders scream as the creature quickly recovers, and you yell at them to flee. No one else will die today.

The entire time, you can hear Scar chuckling behind you.

The Lioness prowls forward. As it prepares to pounce, you see your chance. You stand your ground, not moving a muscle as it lunges towards you. At the last moment, you drop onto your back and slash the broadsword across the beast’s belly as it careens over you. It screeches as you eviscerate it, exploding into a million golden particles above you—an Echo.

Clapping reverberates through the now still streets. “Bravo!” Hands pull you up, and a shockingly gentle finger brushes your cheek. “(Y/n), my little hero. Seems you’ve figured out my proposal before I could pop the question myself.”

The Tacet Mark on your sternum flashes, calling to the Lioness’s Echo. Up until now, you’ve been able to suppress the call for your body to absorb the TD’s afterimage. But now, you have no choice. If you don’t give in to the desire that Scar has expressed all along, then today will just repeat itself over and over until you do. Shaking your head, you drop your sword and pound your fists into his chest. You can’t look at him directly. “Why?” You choke on your own words as tears stream down your cheeks. “I would have listened to you. To avoid this, I would have—” Another sob wracks your body. “I would have given you anything, everything.”

Scar angles your chin upwards so you have no choice but to look him in the eye. His expression is surprisingly collected, his touch too light for a man who just committed such a heinous crime. “My dear, I would let the entire world burn to make you mine. You can’t have evolution without extinction, after all. This may be the end for them, but it is only the beginning for us.”

He kisses you then, longingly, languidly. Like a man enjoying every last taste and sensation of a final meal. You want to struggle, but what’s the point anymore? Even when he ghosts his claws across your neck, wrapping a hand around your throat and squeezing lightly, you let him without a fight.

He pulls away, smiling at you and your expression, so broken and defeated, and once again at his mercy. Finally, finally you are his, and you will be so much more after your transformation. Ever since he first found you, he knew that only you could ever match his frequency, could join him on his throne of fire and ashes. He drags a claw across your lip, drawing blood, which he quickly laps up with his tongue. You taste even more delicious than he could have imagined.

He can’t wait to taste you in every way possible.

Savoring the flavor of your blood, he motions toward the Echo. “Come now, dear. It’s time you fulfilled your end of the proposal.”

Yes, his proposal. The one he has hounded you with: for you to willingly absorb a TD, becoming exactly like him. A monster. His pet, his prey, his alone to have.

Summary: As a diplomat, it's your job to foster peace between warring factions. But meeting with Calcharo and his disdain for your home, leads to some unfortunate information.

Negotiation was part of the business, and you were pretty damn good at it, if you do say so yourself. However, this was a different game of strategy; literally. In between Calcharo and you was a chess board. A few pieces have been moved already. He was waiting for you to make your next move. There was an icy look in his eye that would have made weaker people shudder and snap. But you weren't so easily deterred by the cold.

You placed your fingers carefully on your rook and moved. "Your turn."

"Interesting move." He muttered before moving one of his pawns. "It's a shame really. I thought you would present more of a challenge for me."

One of your eyebrows raised at his words. "Oh? And what is that supposed to mean? Am I not stimulating enough for you, oh great leader of the Ghost Hounds?"

He didn't crack at your mockery. "I just assumed that Jinzhou's top diplomat would prove to be a far more formidable foe."

You chuckle before using your knight to capture his pawn. "It's called playing the long game. A concept I doubt you are familiar with."

"I'm plenty familiar." His cold voice turned colder.

"You're right." You deftly back track, a tone of humility in your voice. "I spoke out of turn. Forgive me, please?"

He didn't say anything. Instead, he moved his bishop in range of your Queen. Your eyes sharpened at the board before you. It would be so easy to take his piece, but it would open up your Queen to an assault from his rook, knight, and pawn. You weren't going to give in so easily to such an easily guessed trap. Instead, your eyes scanned the spaces for the most effective evasive maneuver.

When you moved, you spoke again. "Now, I think it's time for you to be honest with me. I'm sure you didn't ask me to visit you in the middle of unoccupied lawless territory north of Jinzhou just for a chess game. Why did you really ask me out here?"

He didn't speak for several moments. Instead, he observed the board, much like you had earlier, and played his rook. He was closing in on your King, but you had set up your own trap. It wasn't much, but it would take out his rook that was too close and his knight that was hanging back as reinforcements.

"There have been rumors." He finally said, his words low and stern. It made you lean forward to hear everything he had to say. "A plot to overthrow Jinhsi."

That wasn't exactly new news. It seemed every other month there was a new plot to dispose of Jinhsi. While Sanhua took care of the domestic threats, it was up to you to handle foreign adversaries. But the way Calcharo was speaking about this new plot, it sounded like something the two of you couldn't handle on your own.

"Supposedly, a group of foreign terrorists are on their way to destroy Jinzhou and everything around it, starting with Jinhsi."

You carefully nod, moving your knight slowly across the board. "It wouldn't be the first time and it certainly won't be the last. I can handle it."

"Not this kind of threat." He muttered.

"How could it possibly be any different-"

"Because I'm leading the charge."

This made you pause. You watched him coolly move his bishop closer to your Queen once more. But your focus had been shaken. You knew about Calcharo's banishment and how he quickly became a formidable foe as the leader of the Ghost Hounds. But this was something far more sinister than you expected from him. You needed answers, away from the chess table. But you were smarter than that. You knew exactly what this game represented. And like hell would you lose to him.

"And why would you be leading the charge?" You ask, trying to keep the waver out of your voice. Your focus shifted back to the game. You were in a mess. There were traps all over the board. You were going to have to make some sacrifices.

"Because the money is good." He stated. But you knew it was more than that. Money may have been a factor, but there was always something more.

"I'm sure. Everyone seems hellbent on killing Jinhsi. People are getting desperate." You mumble, trying to fix the board in your favor. But it seemed he had the upper hand. "But why would you tell me? Do you want me to stop you?"

He seemed ever so slightly surprised at your words. This worked in your favor. "I'm telling you because I'm only after her, no one else. I am not responsible for any other lives taken in the assault."

This sparked your curiosity. It was a conscience. Calcharo was showing signs of remorse. He wanted Jinhsi dead, sure, but no one else. It also proved that he didn't have complete control over the adversaries he was leading into battle. And without complete control, situations like this could get messy. It made for a very interesting scenario.

"It's a shame you told me." You sigh, seeing the play of the game begin to shift again. "Now I have to inform Sanhua that she needs to move Jinhsi out of Jinzhou for her safety."

"She won't believe you."

"Yes, she will. We're like siblings. She trusts me."

Calcharo scoffed. "Anyone connected with the New Federation doesn't know a thing about trust or loyalty."

"How quickly you forget you were once one of us." That's when it hit you. How the game would end, and how the assault would end. It was astonishing to say the least. But it was the best outcome you could hope for.

You moved your knight.

As you watched him capture it with his King, you moved your Queen. When he tried to flee, you moved your other knight.

"Checkmate."

He stared at you and you gave him a pleasant smile. "You also forget that some of us are willing to sacrifice everything to keep the world from falling apart. Jinhsi will be safe. Sanhua will be safe. Your plan will fail. Still, I wish you good luck."

With that, you stood up and left his encampment, with news of a terrorist attack and your inevitable death.

I imagine Baizhi is the type to genuinely be worried deep down, she does show it in some moments where she tells us to be safe and all she's just kinda stoic. I read some of her profile lore and I get her characterization, she's a natural born genius so she's kinda low on eq but still caring and cautious🥹 When she finds you being hurt after hunting down TDs and all, she just gives you that stern look and flicks your forehead saying how careless you are. Then the next moment she's kneeling down beside you and observing your wounds then applying medicine on them. Then right at that moment, Yangyang comes running to see you and is practically panicking looking at your injuries.

Yangyang would cutely scold you and insist to accompany you next time. It's the way she'd keep leaning closer to put her point and make you agree to take her along and the next moment Baizhi grabs your chin to put medicine on your cheek and you realise she's also really close that you can feel her breasts on your arm and she agrees with Yangyang. Hence you end up sandwiched by them and neither of them realise it but they are really all over you🤭

Side note, I also really like Sanhua. I already loved her gameplay then finally after reading her profile lore I got so into her she's so well written, I genuinely imagined she'd be kinda boring but awh man her backstory is so tragic but she's still so sweet and cares so much 😭 She deserves the best truly ❤️
