"Sin huellas"

Es verdad que llegan demasiadas series cada semana. Estamos saturados de estrenos. Sobresaturados. Y según va avanzando el año, cada vez hay más series nuevas que queremos ver. Si pestañeas, aparecen nuevas plataformas de streaming con las que no contabas hace tan solo un mes, yr para estar al día, necesitas tenerlas todas. Bueno, no siempre. Porque entre todos esos estrenos siempre hay series que se nos escapan, y hay veces que podemos encontrar verdaderas joyas. Es el caso de la serie ‘Sin Huellas’, que Prime Video estrena este 17 de marzo, y que no ha tenido apenas promoción.

Creada por Carlos de Pando y Sara Antuña (las mentes detrás de la brillante ‘¡García!‘), esta serie de Prime Video es una mezcla de varios géneros en uno: thriller, comedia, acción e incluso western. Sí, sí, habéis leído bien. Western. Eso sí, a la española. Con la ayuda en los guiones de Héctor Beltrán Gimeno y Gabi Ochoa, la serie ‘Sin Huellas‘ navega a la perfección entre todos ellos, y nos da una de las series más divertidas españolas del pasado reciente.

La serie cuenta con un reparto comandado por Carolina Yuste, Camila Sodi, Adriana Torrebejano, Leonardo Ortizgris, Álex Gadea, Pastora Vega y Borja Luna, entre otros. Pero las que se llevan el gato al agua son las dos protagonistas. Carolina Yuste y Camila Sodi están brillantes, desternillantes y desprenden una química brutal.

Desi (Carolina Yuste) y Cata (Camila Sodi) encuentran un cadáver en la mansión que acaban de limpiar. Horror. Pánico. Arroba policía. Un momento, ¿una gitana y una inmigrante mexicana han limpiado la escena de un crimen? Ellas son las perfectas culpables. Ahora tienen que escapar de la policía, pero también de unos sicarios rusos, una familia de millonarios y un ex marido con mariachis. A ver cómo salen de ese ‘fregao’.

El punto de partida de la serie ya es una auténtica locura. Aunque tarde en llegar, cuando lo hace es plenamente satisfactorio. Os recomendamos no ver el tráiler, porque os estropeará el momento, que Carolina Yuste defiende a la perfección. La actriz pacense, que saltó a la fama gracias a su Goya por la película ‘Carmen y Lola’, está increíble como Desi. Y, aunque tarda en cogerle el punto a su personaje, cuando lo hace, no lo suelta. Al menos en los primeros episodios que hemos podido ver para elaborar la crítica.

Lo mismo ocurre con Camila Sodi. La actriz y cantante, sobrina de Thalía, y a la que vimos en la telenovela ‘Rubí’ o en la serie de Netflix sobre Luis Miguel, hace un tándem perfecto con Carolina. Desde la huida en coche atravesando Alicante, vemos que su química va a ser lo que sostenga la serie, y sea su punto fuerte. No nos equivocamos. Esa secuencia es divertidísima y, además, está muy bien rodada. No es que nos sorprenda tampoco. Se nota que Amazon tiene un buen presupuesto.

Pero el principal fallo de la serie, y lo que puede que lastre el conjunto final, es la duración. En una serie de drama, es normal encontrarnos con capítulos de más de 30 minutos. Más allá de esa media hora, una serie de comedia puede pecar de falta de ritmo. Y eso le pasa a la serie de ‘Sin Huellas’, que sus capítulos acaban desinflándose. Una comedia es muy difícil de mantener durante tanto tiempo. Y más aún, siendo una serie que mezcla tantos géneros. De haber reducido su duración, el conjunto habría funcionado mucho mejor.

Salvo ese detalle, ‘Sin Huellas’ es una buena serie 👌

One of the only photos I have with Mike Davis. I studied with him in 1997 just before graduating at UCLA and kept in touch from there. This was at a retirement event in 2015 where both Mike & Juan Felipe Herrera read & were being honored at they retired from UC Riverside. I was sitting next to Steph Cha at the reading & I remember Vickie Vertiz & Sara Borjas were there that day too. Mike connected V Zamora and I together in 2007-2008 at Papadakis restaurant in San Pedro. V is in the far left of this shot. Mike gave V and I bunch of books that day. I still have them. Gobernadora pone en marcha el Transporte Violeta en Zumpango

ZUMPANGO * Octubre 2, 2023. ) Gobierno de Guerrero  Para garantizar un servicio digno, seguro y sin acoso para las mujeres de Guerrero, la

gobernadora Evelyn Salgado Pineda puso en operación el programa de "Transporte Violeta" en Zumpango del Río con 12 unidades nuevas que se suman para erradicar la violencia de género y fortalecer la estrategia del "Protocolo Violeta" como un modelo único en su tipo en México. "El transporte Violeta vino no solamente a erradicar el acoso y la violencia contra las mujeres en el transporte público, vino también a revolucionarlo y transformarlo para impulsar un mejor servicio, promover el ordenamiento de los transportistas y garantizar un buen modelo de transporte en Guerrero", puntualizó la gobernadora. Durante su mensaje en la Alameda Central de Zumpango, la mandataria estatal puntualizó

que a través del protocolo "Violeta" se aplican programas de protección a las mujeres en las zonas violetas, el transporte y la alerta Violeta que mantiene una efectividad del 94 por ciento en la localización de niñas, adolescentes y mujeres que son reportadas como desaparecidas al 911. "Estamos poniendo el ejemplo para atender, prevenir, sancionar y erradicar la violencia contra las mujeres, contra las niñas y las jóvenes", puntualizó Evelyn Salgado al señalar que lo importante es el compromiso del municipio, de los transportistas y del gobierno del estado con el bienestar de las mujeres. En Zumpango del Río, la gobernadora Evelyn Salgado y la alcaldesa de Eduardo Neri, Sara Salinas dieron el banderazo de salida a 12 unidades nuevas que cuentan con un sistema de

geolocalización, con cámaras de videovigilancia que están vinculadas directamente al C4 y C5 como lo han pedido las mujeres usuarias, así como dos botones de pánico para reportar de inmediato cualquier emergencia. La mandataria hizo hincapié que se ha impulsado una campaña intensa de capacitación y profesionalización, realizando exámenes de control y confianza a 52 operadoras y operadores de taxi para Zumpango, con pruebas toxicológicas psicológica para garantizar un servicio de calidad; además, se han capacitado en todo el estado a más de 3 mil 500 transportistas de la zona Centro en temas de perspectiva de género de una agenda progresista. La gobernadora Evelyn Salgado añadió que todas las unidades de Transporte Violeta

tendrán su cédula de identificación con código QR con datos de la o el conductor para que sea un servicio cien por ciento seguro para las usuarias. En el evento con la población de Zumpango y transportistas de la región, el senador Félix Salgado Macedonio resaltó el trabajo que ha impulsado la primera mujer gobernadora de Guerrero en favor de las mujeres, poniendo en alto, dijo, la esperanza y el anhelo del pueblo de Guerrero. Por su parte, el secretario Técnico de la gobernadora, Pablo Gordillo Oliveros destacó que el transporte Violeta es un componente más del Protocolo Violeta cumplió un año de

operaciones en los municipios de Acapulco y Chilpancingo, demostrando el compromiso de la gobernadora Evelyn Salgado con las mujeres y su bienestar en todos los espacios incluidos en el transporte público. Subrayó que se inician operaciones en Zumpango con nuevas unidades de Transporte Violeta y una intervención integral a través de diversas acciones como una política que demuestra la importancia con la perspectiva de género, el valor de las mujeres y la responsabilidad permanente de las autoridades para garantizar su seguridad y bienestar. Asistieron al evento la presidenta de los Derechos Humanos del estado, Cecilia Narciso Gaytán; la presidenta del DIF Guerrero, Liz Salgado Pineda; el Rector de la UAGro, Javier Saldaña Almazán; el director de Transportes y Vialidad, Arturo Salinas Sandoval; el secretario General de Gobierno, Ludwig Marcial Reynoso Núñez; la presidenta de la asociación Kanicheé, Beatriz Eslava Borja, entre otros.

Today, I feel like telling jokes instead of pretending to write good songs & I am angry with the word should. I think about words so I don’t think about loss, or all the feathers left on my porch. I want to open the front door & see a clean bird that waiting for me on the doormat like I’m Snow White, even if it has rusted forks for wings. I once heard that the world breaks everyone & afterwards many are stronger at the broken places. I wish a different woman would wake up instead of me.

A Heart Can Be Broken Only Once, Like A Window

I miss things, but I don’t say it anymore. My palms are turned down against gusts taking themselves away.

I listen to wild parrots while I run between sycamores in the park. I walk around uncomfortable in my jeans & wonder if the holes

were something I’ve made. I think about some things so I don’t think about other things: pizza, poetry, Neosporin.

I eat my fried eggs out of a bowl shaped like a man’s hands. The thin, gold rings on his fingers are still mine. I have

myself to remind me of my own love, but that’s all. I tie tiny triangles of glass to string, wear it around my neck,

& some say it’s pretty. When my mother doesn’t recognize the jewelry adorning me, hoping, she asks if it’s new.

And even though I am Mexican, feel deeply & joke dark, God still owes me a drink for every time the woman I should be

has died. I no longer mean it when I say please. Sometimes words belong between certain people & neither one is you.
