A little sheep mentioned a certain fae king knew about this little plan to kidnap the Supreme Archangel. Why, on Earth would your name be the one he mentioned? I'd love to know. Have you been conspiring against me this whole time?

Ahahaha...Fae king? What stories have you been reading, dear angel? The Fae king I know would be King Oberon. I wouldn't presume to ever be worthy enough to take up that mantle myself. I'm flattered you seem to think I am, though. As to why that sheep dropped my name...I wouldn't call it 'conspiring against you'. Not when I was seizing an opportunity to help out the Supreme Archangel. It's not that I think I'd be worthy enough for that title, either, but...

*sighs, running a hand through his hair and taking a deep breath*

Okay, listen. Luc (@totally-a-sheep) came to me a while back before I had performed that spell to turn you into a snake. He'd gotten wind about me being up to something - as Crowley and a number of others did - and wanted in on the action because he was bored. We kept in contact for a bit and when he saw me turn into you to help run the bookshop while you were a snake, he suggested the plan to 'get you to take some more time off' because you likely wouldn't have agreed to it yourself. I was initially against the idea, telling him how you had said you would probably take more time off in the future because of how nice the day you'd had as a snake had been.

But then he explained how, if we were to go through with his plan and keep you occupied for a while, safe and out of harm's way, I could go up to Heaven while posing as you and...well, he suggested causing some chaos, but I knew that didn't necessarily mean I couldn't try to improve the situation up there in the process.

So I went. I wanted to know what kind of opposition you were facing from the other Archangels and to see what I could do about it.

I think the group as a whole, @the-archangel-squad, essentially ignored my suggestions as you, and I wasn't able to meet with Saraqael (though I found them later (@you-all-forget-my-name) and I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to them then because they seem the most reasonable of the lot). However, I did speak to Uriel (@urielwiththegoodhair), Michael (@michaelwiththegoodhair), and Sandalphon (@sandalphonsgoldteeth). Uriel, aside from being Sandalphon's self-proclaimed emotional support angel, was and has currently been dealing with issues regarding the Morningstar family, so I tried to help them there, but it's becoming increasingly difficult for me to talk to Lucifer (@morningbloodystar) when he's so busy with all his children, so there wasn't much I could do for them. In any case, at least Uriel doesn't seem to be intent on causing any harm to humans or the Earth in general, so I wouldn't worry about them being a threat in that regard.

Michael was...less benevolent. I'm not sure there's much hope for them considering how much they seem to dislike you, how much they really want your job, and how self-righteous they are in terms of why they think they deserve it more than you. Lost cause, that one, I'd say. Almost as bad as the Metatron (@the-metatron).

And Sandalphon. Oh, Sandalphon...where do I begin? I heard he'd been turning people into salt, like Jay Morningstar (@helphowdoiusethis) (though in that case, Jay had asked him to), so I thought I could try to stop him by suggesting he get all the salt he needed from his tears instead of turning people into it. He claimed he only turned people into salt if they made him cry, admitting subsequently that everything made him cry. I offered to help him with that, being vague about the details on how, and he seemed receptive to the idea, so I tried to discreetly cast a spell on him from the lift before returning to him to check on its success. It seems to be working alright so far, though I'm not sure how long it'll hold up for (especially because @the-archangel-squad claimed that Sandalphon would possibly end up in tears again if people didn't vote for them in their ridiculous poll, which they didn't). Anyway, after reminding Sandalphon that he no longer had a reason to turn people into salt, I left. Then I found @thedemon-crowley, who was naturally in a great deal of distress trying to locate and find out what happened to you, and so I helped him get into contact with you and you know what happened from there.

I think that's pretty much the whole of it. Any other questions?

It's not officially specified but it does make a good deal of sense to me as far as Death and Destiny in The Sandman:

The answer to the whole 'when the first living thing existed, I was there waiting' thing and Death taking Destiny last is a really, really simple one. Namely that Desire and Despair aren't the only twins in the Endless, Destiny and Death are also and this leads to all my different takes on Sandman and the DCU beginning with 'when the first living thing existed, I was there waiting' as the beginning and Destiny seeing Death, ensuing a bookend of the dawn and the dusk of each universe.

Time and Night aren't quite living beings, they're more like the ancient Hellenic concepts of Tartarus and well, Nyx and Chronos. Personifications and deities so vast they barely have an existence at all.

There is also a whole bit of a myth cycle where (whether or not it's actually true or not depends on the multiverse and it is so in the Death Cycle but not necessarily so elsewhere) Time and Night eventually realize their eldest daughter can potentially be their own end and so she is the archetypal version of a Fall and winds up in the Silver City pre-Fall and recuperates as Azrael and fights in the War in Heaven as a close friend and adoptive sister of Lucifer Morningstar.

The death of Saraqael, an event that starts the clock to the War in Heaven and the events from the First of the Fallen to the fall of Lucifer themself is the first death and the first time Death actually does the death part of her job in a universe which had yet to spawn life outside the lands of myth.

14. Michael

Michael, he’s the worst angel to me. He’s willing to do anything to become god, even killing his own siblings like poor Remiel and threaten the others with the flaming sword. He secretly doesn’t respect God, and just wants ruin to Lucifer and his friends lives

13. Gabriel

Gabriel, she such a snitch and a coward. She just feels a lot like Michael’s sidekick and his number one.

12. Ibriel

Ibriel is nothing but a meat head henchman of Michael.

Angels

11. Uriel

Uriel is a dick, but wasn’t he just trying to follow God’s orders and bring Goddess  back to hell?

10. Raziel

Was Raziel close to Remiel or something because she was able to briefly join Lucifer’s side? But she was a coward and Remiel would’ve been mad when she rejoined Michael side.

9. Hanjobadiel

TBH, other than his appearance and name, he has done nothing deserve to be lower than the previous 5.

8. Jophiel

Nothing against him, but Saraqael was right, he was such an idiot, but he was an idiot  for not choosing Lucifer. But don’t really blame him, Lucifer did the start the rebellion but changed. What makes me even more mad is that all the other angels didn’t think for themselves.

7. Saraqael

The same reasons as Joe, but I love that Sara fell for a human, and she and Joe are more human than the majority of the others.

6. Zadkiel

He was the only one (minus Remiel) to join Lucifer’s side, because he clearly is smarter than the others. I also love that he rapped.

5. Azrael

She clearly the nicest of angel even though she’s the angel of death. She the perfect little sister to Lucifer. I wished she gets to reunite with Ella 

4. Remiel

I’m biased with her, I just find her to be badass looking with her wings. I love that she supported Lucifer even though she hates him because she knows better. She didn’t deserve to die. I wanted her to spent more time on earth with Lucifer and Amenadiel, We should really see a female angel living a human life.

3. Aurora Morningstar

I thought Remiel was the most badass looking Angel I ever seen. I know it’s technically Aurora Decker but Morningstar just sounds more badass. Love her wings. And her relationship both with her father and mother. I wish we have a final fight with her alongside her father and Amenadiel.

2. Amenadiel

I love how he evolve, from being God’s Number One to overall just good guy. I wish he was still cop being is God is good, Remiel would’ve been happy with that.

1. Lucifer

Ah the Lightbringer, he’s fun. I love Luci’s interaction with everyone, from Amenadiel to Linda to Chloe. He grown into a better angel who cares about everyone. He even care about his siblings more than Michael. He’s so good even Zadkiel joined his side. He deserve to be god way more than Michael ever did. But he is good chores to not become god because that doesn’t sound exactly like him.

In my take on angels:

Angelic entities are concepts taken to extremes, but the concepts are mutli-faceted...and thus they are bound to other concepts. Saraqael/Maru-Zarel is the Angel of Compassion, Sachiel is the Angel of Politics and the Moon (meaning that he is portrayed as  a stupider Rule 63 Usagi Tsukino as flanderized by the fanbase,). Compassion and Politics are wedded together.

The Lightdancer is the reborn Angel of Death, and the Fateful Lightning is the Angel of Judgement. Azrael-Uriel. Death of the Seven was incarnated as the Angel Azrael but being one of the Seven drove Azrael mad and Azrael nearly won the Great Revolt of the Morningstar for the Morningstar tapping into that power. So Uriel took the sword of fire her rebirth wields likewise, impaled her, and hurled her from Heaven where she falls and breaks in two and instaneously is reborn as Tamar da Silva, of Sepharad. And Tahalavataru of Urhalzan.

The stress of killing her bonded kills Uriel in turn and the Angel of Judgment is reborn as Yenelnataru of Urhalzan and Muspelheim, a Jotunn of the realm of primordial fire, clad in dark golden armor. Very deliberately reminiscent of the Emperor of Mankind down to the genocidal dickery and Judgment in its most malevolent senses.
