I need a new fandom, something currently airing.  I need something with lovable, kind characters.  Something intelligent, with humor, but not anything vulgar or mean.   Something that is not sassy/edgy.   Preferably science fiction or fantasy, though light action would be okay.  Nothing that centers around solving rapes and/or murders.  Found family would be dearly loved.   And a hot bad guy I can head canon as redeemable would be excellent.  

In other words, I miss MacGyver so, so much.

3. Do you prefer canonverse or AUs?

A: Depending on the fandom usually Canonverse but I’ve read some absolute phenomenal AUs

4. What fandom’s/ship’s fan fiction do you read the most?

A: McDanno (Hawaii Five-O), MacDalton (MacGyver 2016) & any combination of the Shield boys, MoxEddie & Finn Balor/Seth Rollins

19. What’s your favorite character headcanon?

A: This one made me think really hard but I’m gonna go with a sassy, mouthy character who comes off as standoffish but is an absolute sweetheart at home with their significant other, who’s equally as sassy, mouthy and standoffish, snuggling as close as they can*

(Probably not a real headcanon but it’s the best I got atm. Ask me tomorrow I’ll probably have a different answer 👀)

*Danny Williams and Steve McGarrett are the 2 that I was thinking with that HC. I wanna write a couple stories about them soonish

Jack tugged ineffectively at the ropes confining him to a heavy, wooden chair and kept an eye on the unconscious MacGyver across the room. Mac was bound similarly, hands pulled behind the backrest and legs tied to the chair at his ankles. His head hung in an uncomfortable position, tilted slightly to the side with his chin to his chest. He'd have a helluva neck crick when he finally woke up.

Most worrying was the blood soaking the thigh of his khakis and dripping off the chair's seat to an ever-growing pool beneath him. One of their captors had not taken well to Mac's escape attempt and had stabbed him in the thigh with a large tactical knife. The asshole had then backhanded him into unconsciousness to add insult to injury, quite literally.

"Why is it always your blood bein' spilled, bud?" Jack asked rhetorically. Mac would argue if he were conscious because Jack had spent his fair share of time in Medical lately, but it always hurt more when Mac was on the receiving end of the knife or gunshot or beating.

Febuwhump Deleted Scene #3

This one is from Day 14.  I ended up taking this story in a slightly different direction, but enjoyed this tidbit too much to just let it go completely.

But the problem with MacGyver was that he also had a mouth on him.  He displayed his bravado and dispelled fear with taunts and sarcasm and unadulterated sass - some of which he had to have picked up from that ogre Dalton.  Normally, Murdoc didn’t mind this.  He found it amusing.  Normally he laughed MacGyver’s jabs off.  They were like brothers, after all.  Closer than brothers, in the way only enemies can be.  

Don’t worry, there’s lots more creepy Murdoc that’s being kept in the story!
