I hear a lot of astrologers say that mars is not associated with sexuality and sexual desires and instead Venus does. I’d like to debunk that because mars in modern astro rules the 8th house. The 8th house can be associated with things like intimacy, sex, the merging of two individuals, etc. The verdict is that mars does indeed relate to one’s sexuality or sexual drive. Remember, mars is the planet of action, drive, energy, etc. and sexual energy is energy that we all possess.

Saturn and restrictions 🪐

In astrology, Saturn restricts us and usually comes from our childhood traumas. [Edit] Sometimes, In Roman mythology, Saturn was related to time and harvest, in Greek associated with Cronus the titan, Zeus (Júpiter). He knew that one of his children would defeat him. So, he decides to eat each of his children, basically, he restricts them from living.

There is no surprise that our placement regarding Saturn presents delays and restrictions. These restrictions come from authority figures since we are young.

꩜Saturn in the 7th house: power struggles and restrictive relationships and partnerships. Parents were always in conflict. People who were close neglected or ignored the native's needs. They didn't learn what companionship or equality is. Others push your boundaries, and you didn't act on it. A need to be perfect was a thing.

꩜Saturn in the 8th house: identity crisis or hiding self. They were dictated to hide due to an image. This also means someone controlling you like a possession. This is a pretty heavy placement that indicates the native having to experience a profound level of loneliness during this lifetime. They are more comfortable on their own and thrive in isolation, but they still yearn to share a deep level of connection with others. Part of why people can be so hesitant to express their 12th House energy is that, in its most direct or purest form, it often attracts negative energy. On some conscious or subconscious level, we know that and can seriously fear it.
