I LOVE the concept, of Macaque and Wukong having a big family. Soo.... All the ideas I had in my head for their children, I'm putting here in order of Oldest to youngest

Will these characters become canon or not?? I dunno! Some already are! I dunno about the rest of them!! But they are cute, and I LOVE THEM.

and Qi Haoyu is 100% based off the "Destined One" in Black Myth: Wukong (NO SPOILERS! I HAVEN"T FINISHED THE GAME! I just love this concept of Wukong having a child that is basically him but all serious and doesn't talk. I don't even know if the Destined One is his child or not, or some clone?? Or descendant?? I dunno!

But here they are!

We got their names, powers, some fun facts, what the World refers to them as/their titles, and then what Macaque nicknames them cause he gives all of them the cutest nicknames~

(Also I totally did the three wise monkeys reference with them.

Changed up a few things with my design of macaque and the eclipse twins. They're ears are like lotus pedals.

What macaque now looks like. I'm digging this design more. And a little Wukong doodle admiring a certain monkie.

Mini Mac # 40 : fireball bath time

Savage doens't like baths, 😔

Macaque was cleaning Savage, or perhaps it would be more accurate to say he was trying to clean her. The lil wiggling worm wouldn't stop squirming around. She twisted herself in every way to escape his claws, sometimes even pawing at his hands in the vain of hope of deterring him. Macaque wasn't deterred. She was covered in mud and it would dry if he didn't clean her soon. How did she get this dirty? He honestly didn't know. He turned away for one minute and the next thing he knew his daughter's bright fur was covered in mud. She was always quite difficult when it was bath time. She preferred grooming. But grooming could only get you so far when your whole body was covered in mud. 

“Come on, firecracker. Be nice to dad, okay?” Cooed Macaque as he tried to lower his daughter into the bowl filled with fresh water drawn from a nearby river. Savage pouted (her expression very similar to Rumble's) and splashed Macaque. The black-furred monkey brushed his wet air away and frowned at his giggling fireball. “Yes, this is so funny, splashing dad is funny isn't it?” Savage chuckled, her laughter echoing all around them like the sound of a chime. 

“Adaaaa, aaal et.” Babbled Savage as she reached towards Macaque with her chubby lil paws. Recently, she started to babble a lot. Macaque was hoping she would say her first word soon. The black-furred monkey nodded, acting like he understood his daughter langage perfectly. 

“Ada al et, indeed.” Nodded Macaque. He battled with his daughter for a few more hours. Once she was finally clean, he put her in the crib with her slumbering brother. Rumble was curled around his doll, his face pressed against the silk blanket. Macaque brushed away the fur falling on the cub's forehead and kissed his head. Savage crawled towards her brother and curled around him. She liked to do that to latch on his warmth. Macaque found the sight unbearably cute. 

“You managed to clean the lil monster?” Asked Bajie as he sat near the fire camp. Macaque hummed and looked up from the crib. 

“Yeah, she's finally mudless. And all her fights made her tired.” Sighed Macaque as he rubbed his shoulders, being bent all the time to clean Savage made his back wince a little. 

“I swear your brat can teleport. That or she's very fast.” Snorted the pig, Macaque couldn’ t agree more. 

“What are you stirring tonight?” Asked the black-furred monkey, it smelled quite good, Bajie definitely improved since his first try. 

“Plums stew and Ao Lie stop eating grass before dinner!” The dragon-horse looked up from the batch of grass he was munching on, he did that a lot in his horse form. 

“But I'm hungry.” Sighed the dragon-horse. 

“You wait a few minutes, you glutton.” Huffed Bajie. 

“Put something warm on your back, it helps a lot.” Advised Sanzang as he turned towards Macaque. 

“Yeah, thanks kiddo. Any news of Wujing and Wukong?”Asked Macaque. 

“They're still patrolling for demons ahead. They'll come back after a bit.” Answered the monk, he then added more nervously : “I hope…”

Macaque snorted at the monk's nervosity, some things never changed. He then turned towards the crib at the sound of a sleepy mrrps. Rumble eyes were half-open, he was trying to push away his sister who was latching on him like an octopus. Macaque chuckled and went to aid him. Savage tended to squeeze the life out of her brother sometimes. 

After dinner, Macaque curled next to the crib and fell asleep. He woke up some hours once Wujing and Wukong came back. 

“You're back?” Mumbled Macaque as he rubbed his eyes. He saw out of the corner of his eyes Wujing preparing himself to sleep. Wukong laid next to Macaque and the crib and sighed, he looked quite upset. “Everything is okay?” Asked Macaque, a bit worried. 

“I… We’re approaching a demonic city…” Mumbled Wukong. 

“Oh we gotta avoid it then.” Replied the black-furred monkey. 

“It's ruled by Azure, Peng and Yellow-Tusk. Heaven is not gonna leave them alone, Mac… I…” Wukong didn't need to say more. Macaque sat up and opened his arms, the great sage shrinked and scrambled in the other monkey's arms, hugging him tightly. 

“It'll be okay.” Mumbled Macaque as he petted Wukong's head. 

“I hope so.” Mumbled the great sage. 

“Wanna know what Savage did today?” Asked Macaque in hope of making the other monkey smile. 

Wukong snorted and put his snout in the black-furred monkey shoulder. “What did the lil fireball do?”

“She splashed me. Bath time is a true battlefield I tell you.”

Wukong chuckled at that, his eyes creaking in amusement. But there was still worry lingering on his face.

WIP Twins Savage and Rumble.

I like royal stories, power struggles are another kind of battle. When Jinzi was born was there any problem? I mean royalty is usually demanding that a king's firstborn must be a boy in order for him to inherit the throne. Maybe Jinzi being a girl could not inherit the throne.

Well at first, Macaque's father was disappointed at the result. Wukong's family on the mountain wasn't one for royal customs and were overjoyed that a royal child had been born at all. PIF and DBK (who were well-acquainted with the couple), were unsure how to feel about a firstborn daughter, but let it be after seeing how overjoyed they were.

Although both Macaque and Wukong had no problem with having their firstborn being female, Macaque's father was always one to follow tradition. It took him a while to get used to the idea that Macaque was being courted by Wukong, much less that his son would be the one to bear children.

In this au as well, Savage and Rumble used to be actual macaques in the kingdom, in fact they were Macaque's siblings. I won't dig too deep into that for now.

Unfortunately, Rumble had passed on when Jīnzi was born, and Savage always followed her father's footsteps since she was a cub. She already despised Wukong for ruining her brother's chance at the throne (said brother being Macaque not Rumble-), and hearing that their firstborn was a girl only sent her into a raging state.

It may seem odd, since she's also a girl, but Savage never wanted her father's throne. She was hoping to see either of her brother's take the title of king, but now not even her eldest brother would have a chance at having the kingdom, much less her niece.

It took Macaque weeks to convince his father that it was fine, but Savage was a different story. She wouldn't give in for months, and after visiting the macaque kingdom with both Wukong and Jīnzi did she truly snap.

When she saw that Wukong arrived, she challenged him to a duel, with the conditions being that if she won, Wukong would leave Macaque and Jīnzi in their care while he lived on his own once more. If he won, then she would accept what has become of her brother like her father did.

Now, we all know Macaque fights dirty. But Savage? Oh, she's a fucking monster when she fights. Unlike Macaque, who learned how to fight with magic from their mother, she and Rumble learned to fight with weapons from their father.

It only took Macaque to intervene in order for either side to stop themselves from fighting to the death.

Yes there was a lot of arguing between the siblings. Yes they cried the longer they argued. Yes their father tried to put in thought in only to get yelled at as well. Yes Wukong was utterly lost in the whole thing.

In the end, Savage accepted the child into their family, and even swore to protect her with her life. She still hated Wukong but that didn't matter too much.

Although Macaque and Wukong knew she couldn’t be an heir, they cherished her nevertheless.

how different would the taken AU be is Macaque and Wukong did have more kids?

I know they didn't because of the whole Lady Bone Demon thing, but what if they made another egg just before that and Xiaotian had some little baby siblings, like Rumble and Savage for example.

Would having siblings make him feel better about his empty ness before he ran away or would they make it worse?

I had the idea of taken AU but with Rumble and Savage last night and needed to ask

BUT YES. I also constantly imagine Xiaoxiao and MK having little siblings and Macaque and Wukong keep having twins somehow XD

Rumble and Savage would be so so soooo cute. I think this is the first time I've drawn these two~ Savage would be the one on Xiaoxiao's head. Has two ears and no red in his hair.

While Rumble has four ears and some red in his hair~

Having more siblings would help Xiaoxiao just a bit. Would give him something to fill his heart a little~ Yet, the more he looked at them, the more he would feel... jealous and sad. And he would hate it cause he wants to feel nothing but love when he looks at his brother's and he doesn't understand what he is jealous about.
