Me, before playing Honest Hearts: I've left the Mormon church because I was unable to reconcile the Plan of Salvation doctrine, which honestly supports and validates the existence of trans and non-binary people if anything, with the Church's stance on trans and non-binary people. I have complicated feelings about it and I'm unsure how I identify religiously, which is complicated by the fact that I converted to Mormonism of my own choice when I was in my early 20's, but I still believe the teachings to be mostly true at their core, and I hope that the Church comes around one day and changes their stance on LGBTQ+ people so I can maybe re-join. Me, after playing Honest Hearts for the first time: oh my god I was in a cult.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre Headcanons Part 2

Part 1

This is mostly about baby Bubba. Planning on doing another list of headcanons but they're going to be like how I think Bubba likes Dolly Parton or Chop top has a wigs collection. Also planning on doing a part 3

"THERE'S A WHAT ON THE PORCH!?"

A little baby with a cleft lip was left on the porch by their absent parents

Because of the newest addition Drayton new he and the twins had to work extra hours at the slaughterhouse to support the baby

Their parents didn't even bother to leave a note unlike with Nubbins and Bobby, so the newest member of the Sawyer family was currently unnamed

The twins were not only excited about having a little brother, but they also wanted to be the ones to name him

"What about Piggy?" "No." "What about Elvis Presley the 2st?" "No." "What about Mr. Baby?" "No."

"What about Nubbins?" "Nubbins, that's your name." "I like my name."

One day the twins started calling the baby Bubba because he started babbling and one of the sounds he would constantly repeat was "Buh!"

"Drayton! The baby named himself! His name is Bubba!"

So the youngest Sawyer was now named Bubba Sawyer

The twins were super excited to have a new baby brother. They even made a crib made out of bones

Nubbins and Bobby always want to hold Bubba, much to Drayton's dismay. They treat and carry him like he's a sack of potatoes

Drayton absolutely refused to let them carry Bubba after Bobby almost dropped Bubba

Since Nubbins has his camera, he's been taking pictures of Bubba doing literally anything. Doesn't matter if it's Bubba's first time celebrating Halloween or if Bubba is just sleeping in his crib, Nubbins will take a photo of him

"Bubba, say cheese!" "Bah!"

Drayton was paranoid that the constant camera flashes would blind Bubba

Drayton was also constantly paranoid the twins would accidently drop Bubba because it almost happened so he took care of him most of the time. Bubba was practically attached to his hip 24/7

Then the older Bubba got, the more the older Sawyers boys noticed that Bubba was different. At two years old he still hasn't said anything besides his usual babbling and he still hasn't taken his firsts steps yet. Bubba wasn't even crawling

Sure Nubbins and Bobby were a little late for those things too, but Bubba's taking much longer

Everyday the Drayton and the twins do everything to encourage Bubba to walk and talk. The twins especially

"C'mon, Bubba! Come to me!" "No! Come to me!"

Bubba not being able to walk or talk made him feel like a failure

One day Drayton was in the living room after a long day at the gas station. He was lying on the couch trying to take a nap when he suddenly heard quiet thumping coming from the floor. Drayton turns his head to see Bubba slowly standing up. Bubba clumsily waddles his way to Drayton

Drayton smiles, picks Bubba up, and lays him on his chest. He pats him gently on the back and chuckles

In which most of the syllable numbers have completely gone off to fuck themselves and left me alone with this fucking mess! But, first of all, a little something I gotta say:
