Ok y'all I have a confession.

...Tigerheart/star is my favorite living warrior cats character and I'm tired of pretending he isn't XD

He was a questionable boyfriend, but he's an excellent husband, father, and leader. He's far more like Firestar than Bramblestar ever was. He's proactive and is willing to break rules for what he believes is right. He gave up territory for SkyClan when no other Clan would. He willingly takes in and shelters cats who are unfairly banished from their own clans--Icewing, Harelight, Mothwing, and most recently Frostpaw (geez RiverClan). He stood up for Rootspring and Bristlefrost's love and advocated to change the warrior code to allow cross-Clan relationships. He will go to any lengths to protect ShadowClan and especially his children--but he seems truly motivated by love and not a desire for power. He takes amazing care of Shadowsight and stands by him constantly. Most recently, his "invasion" of RiverClan was shown to be 1) actually necessary, and 2) he did, in fact, keep his promise and back out when his conditions were met.

His decisions aren't always the *best,* but he's motivated and active (and delightfully meddlesome) in a way that no leader since Firestar has been. I LOVE that. I love him! Big stupid hot-headed well-meaning stripey man! Go invade RC again and kick Splashtail's, well, tail! <3

Also! ASC! You made ShadowClan the best clan how did that happen??? I'm so mad that Sunbeam is in ThunderClan now because I don't caaaaaaaare about TC lol I want more SC perspective.

So this is a lineup of my fav cats from the current arc: Whistlepaw (your honor I love her), Frostpaw (you're doing amazing girl, sorry about all the trauma), Icewing (hopefully next leader of RC come on WC team), Fringewhisker (full-time ass-kicker), Tigger boy <3, Shadowsight (my poor bby you're so good), Puddleshine (when did you get to be such a likeable character?), Bayshine (what a bro, seriously), and Harelight (we stan a supportive mentor, sorry about "Wind" buddy).

Honestly ASC is great so far. Can't wait for the finale. Also let the lesbian medicine cats kiss omg. I don't really bother shipping warrior cats because *gestures wildly* but nah, Whistlepaw and Frostpaw are the cutest lesbians and you can't tell me the "It was all worth it if it was for you" conversation in "Wind" WASN'T the most sapphic thing ever. Break ALL the boundaries girls be BOTH gay *and* nuns. We stan.

wow! A Starless Clan really did suck!

Riverclan as a whole is so incompetent. Imagine any of that happening in Thunderclan or Shadowclan. There would be cats raising hell...hello have we forgotten TBC and how Bristlefrost was made deputy as a baby and how alot of cats were like '...ok...'

Forgotten evil cats. Forgotten plotlines and character arcs I can accept, but why did the writers forget that they made DUSKFUR and MALLOWNOSE part of Curlfeather and Splashtails' coop?

(later Duskfur is 'exiled' and defends Frostpaw despite originally being all for Splashtail manipulating her. ok)

The weird perceived closeness between Bramblestar and Nightheart. Bramblestar is more engaged with his grandson than he was with his own kids and even though Bramblestar and Squirrelstar both raised Finch and Night for a time, it seems only Bramblestar is close to Night.

speaking of Finch, she gets nothing in this arc. Really. she's super nice and patient with Nightheart, rightfully snaps at him once and give him the cold shoulder when he goes to Shadowclan without warning. Bayshine gets more to do than her, and more bonding time with Nightheart. HOLLOWSPRING and SPIRECLAW get more characterisation and lore than Finchlight, or Mist and Grey.

Mistpaw and Greypaw... why are they here. This is the same issue in TBC, and many arcs where they give siblings to characters that don't need them. It only worked in the power of three. Bristlefrost doesn't interact with her siblings at all in the broken code. Same with Shadowsight.

Why have Sunbeam join Thunderclan. When we needed nothing more than a SC POV at that time.

Tigerheart invading Riverclan and beating them up just to rule over them. Sure, ok. Like I said, Riverclan is written so incompetently that I don't blame Tigerheart here.

Random journey for cattail or whatever, resulting in only one kittens life. Should've taken out a bunch more cats and played more seriously/inciting incident-y.

Shadowsight super edition at some point to help clean up some of the unresolved stuff from the last arc, although I'm torn on it being directly after the Broken code or sometime during or after the current arc. If nothing else I'd be nice to get some closure on him and Roots arcs, and maybe set up some of Lightleaps drama? Maybe called Shadowsight's solitude or salvation

SHADOWSIGHTS SOLITUDE!! Oh that would be good. I rlly don't get the whole 'StarClan never was speaking to you' thing- who spoke to him in Raging Storm and Tawnypelt's Clan? (was it SC and they just abandoned him?) Did he ever have a connection to SC? I'd had loved it to be inbetween TBC and ASC but it seems ASC is a direct continuation of TBC (weird imho)

opinion: they should make nightheart a rogue at the end of it all. also give him a sc bf (preferably nOT shadowsight as they are related) and let sunbeam realize “goddamn this guy sucks” and be a girlboss of a lil guy (non binary sunbeam real)

i want him to get a rogue girlfriend or boyfriend or whatever and just run off. not just because i hate him but i think it’d save us from adding another line to firekin and he can never be judged for being related to firestar again

Bristlefrost dies saving Shadowsight from Ashfur !!! Shadowsight has no connection to starclan or the darkforest

Juniperclaw is not allowed in starclan but took up a position of being in neither DF or SC to guard the large tunnel that connects the DF and SC.

Bramble doesn’t die and is happily reunited with Squilf who is super happy her husband is alive and Bramble knows how the rest of the clans and thunder treated his wife and is hinted at being not happy , but puts on a smile anyway and thanks the clans for saving him.

Squilf and Bramble are mates still and leader and deputy and Firestar is very happy with this and thanks Rootspring for saving his daughter and her mate .
