Ok guys. About the necklace theory.

This picture made me spiral (again).

Am I seeing things, or is Mickey in a room full of crowns exactly like Sora's?

Does that mean, we will finally find out more about the necklace's origin? Will we find out right here??

Will it confirm, that it is an heirloom from a special bloodline of Keyblade wielders from Scala? Will Mickey and the others think, Sora is the descendant? Will Sora be confused when they ask him where he got it from and will Riku be there to tell them that he gave it to Sora? And will that finally trigger the memory of the promise??

I could go on for hours, thinking about their reactions when it all comes out. Is Riku sad or disappointed that Sora forgot? Does Sora finally realize why Riku is his most important person? 👀 And what is so special about Rikus bloodline?

I can't wait to see if any of those things get confirmed.

I can't imagine that Sora is the descendant, since he is meant to be the one we can identify with. Just a regular person that tries his best. No princess of heart, no long lost prince of a magical royal bloodline. Just an ordinary guy with a good heart in extraordinary circumstances.

It has to be Riku's.

I think a room full of those crowns definitely means we will find out more about it! 🤩

Our Missing Link

Missing Link as we knew it may not be officially made… but that does not mean we cannot make it ourselves!

Perhaps it won't be an actual game, but compiling what we have and building on top of it into what it may have been is entirely possible- but it is not a task I am capable of undertaking alone.

I want YOU to help me make Missing Link!

I already have a basis down for potential plot and the structure and foundation of Scala and the Societies, but I need likeminded people with to brainstorm and truly build this world with me and write it all down, to organize everything together and run this project so that keykids may join us and create an entire interactive community, and bring Scala ad Caelum to life.

What this is: a fanmade project intended to recreate the experience of Missing Link, now that the game has been canceled. This project intends to stick as close to canon as reasonably possible.

What this is not: a fanon group for headcanons- those are fun, and have their time and place, but this is a serious project.

This will be the very beginning of the project the era that will be forgotten, so we shall be building from the ground up. The quality and size of this project will depend on how many people can help and what skills any volunteers may bring to the table. If you are able, any of the following would be incredibly welcome:

all canon lore so far

knowledge on related mythology (norse, roman)

ripped game assets

organization skills (able to compile information into google docs)

ttrpg creation knowledge

lore speculation

brainstorming and engaging with the text

Before the fall of Scala, there were rumors that Master Brain had a journal where he kept notes and sketches of all the portraits he eventually added to the palace gallery. No one ever dared to read it without his permission. They relied on the plaques below the portraits for any information.

But surely, someday, someone would read it. Maybe multiple people would. But Scala has been empty for a long, long time. The journal has collected dust in an abandoned tower for far, far longer.

“Portrait #11:

They never had a family photo all together. But Lauriam showed me one of him and Strelitzia, and then all the leaders had a portrait taken. I think they’d be happy with this, in spite of everything.

Lauriam, if you’re somehow reading this, I hope you found them. I��m sorry I couldn’t be there to see it like you hoped.

Ven, if you’re reading this, I hope you’re together. I hope you’re safe, and I hope you’ve been able to grow up past everything. You’re a good kid. And yeah, I have to admit, you did grow a backbone.

Strelitzia, we never met. But Ava trusted you enough to pick you and your brother really cared for you, so I’m sure you’re amazing. I hope you’re safe and I hope you’re together. I don’t expect you to forgive Ven, but if you can, I know you’ll get along. He’s a good kid for as much grief as I gave him.”

But no one has read these words in long time. The only words so many knew were the ones engraved on the plaque below.

I haven’t posted anything here, but I do love myself some writing as well as art. I even have an Ao3 (TeaAndFics04).

The idea came to me (and my gf) that Brain could very well undertake painting to cope with his loses. Imagine the drama of everyone finding his work, and all that jazz.

Either way, it is of my belief that Lauriam saw Ven as a little brother in some way. It would also explain why Ven later latched to Terra to have an older brother figure. It would also explain why Marluxia is so nice to Roxas when there was no chance of him being part of the coup. Buried memories and all.

Finally, Tarax comes from Taraxacum- the scientific name for Dandelions. It fits since 1. They’re dandelions and 2. Flowers + A Wayward Wind = Dandelions.

I fell asleep before i could post this last night but here's some highlights from looking around Scala

I didn't realize that you could see that big pipe portal thing beyond the dive station, you can only see it when you go up stairs to the observatory to get up high enough, i also only realised you could see more then just the sea beyond the observatory wall while running around with my camera fully zoomed out
