Little baby Kanto Ansy is so cute!!! Would you draw more of her?

I’ve actually been wanting to make something like this for a little while, hehe.

First we have a photo of Ansy with her 2 brothers & sister right before she set out. (IRL my big brother chose Charmander too, but that’s boring lol, when there were 3 of us (& one baby) for each classic starter - deal with it, Dr. Onii-san XD The reality is that he WOULD troll me with a type advantage XDXD).

Then we have small snapshots of Ansy’s short-lived first journey through Kanto. She got the Boulder Badge in Pewter City, then made her way back to her hometown, Cerulean City. There, she heard rumors of a VERY powerful Pokemon in Cerulean Cave. Being a good swimmer, she & Leonardo (Squirtle) made their way over there.

It didn’t end well.

Excuse the bad photograph but I complete forgot that I owned this pastiche (or, as I like to call it, glorified fanfic) so I’m starting to read it now.

I’m going to be perfectly honest, just the titles alone read like crackfics so naturally I’m very… intrigued.

"Look't the state'a ya," Tiarnán slurs at the other, shaking his head as he walks right up to them. Half-lidded gaze lingers on their expression, standing as close as they can without them physically touching. Their nose nearly brush, his alcohol-stained breath hot against their skin. He blinks slowly, dizzily because of course he's already drunk and high and who knows what else.

"Now, don' g'wan pretendin' y'ain't happy ta see me," he hisses, patting their cheek with a bit of force. A sly grin slowly slips along his features, showing off silver molars tucked away at the back of his mouth. "This ain't much'f'a warm welcome, now, is it?" Arms spread wide as he steps back, a Cheshire-cat like grin on his face.

i lived in the most suburban place imaginable, so it's a little hard to find an animal that isn't a bug or small bird or perhaps rodent, and the plant life is a bit too monocultured/lacking given the degree of development, but, uniquely, there's plenty of water around, and we did have a lake full of geese, ducks, and swans within walking distance. the elementary school playground had tons of waterfowl trudging about, and we even used to have a problem with a duck couple that'd try to nest in our pool. ducklett therefore feels appropriate!!

Willow wandered around the area. Everything was different after she had left HYDRA. She couldn’t remember a time with constant training and surveillance. Even when she was hurt she would get back up and fight through the pain. Now she didn’t have too.

Willow looked curiously at the computer in front of her maybe she could be useful. She sat down in the chair in front of it. It didn’t take long for her to find what she was looking for. Her fingers moved quickly across the keyboard as code flowed in front of the screen. Willow had found a back door into the HYDRA servers moving undetected around their systems. She turned as someone walked into the room, closing the computer quickly.

She didn't know for how long she had been asleep for... but a sharp knock on the door caused the woman's eyes to snap open, taking only moments to shift as she jolted upright, seemingly out of breath as the door before her cracked open.

It's the voices that really bother him.

Curses, enchantments, multi-lingual serpents-- as if the Sanctum has ever been silent. The bookshelves weep sometimes. At approximately half past two each morning, he's almost certain that the antique lamp on his nightstand hums a song from his childhood.

That's all to say that, if acclimation to supernatural conversation is possible, Strange ought to have mastered it.

This is different, he thinks, he knows. This is something that doesn't fit quite as nicely into a specified place. That or the nightmares have manifested into a worse foe, haunting him in the waking world and the beyond. Bad enough he's had to switch his diet. He's yet to come across an antihistamine for night terrors.

Voices cleave beneath his thoughts while he attempts to focus. Something-something-this-is-the-guy-you-have-to-work-with. Strange knows as much as he does because sorcerers tend to be nosy neighbors.

"Moon Knight, right? I recall you had a whole... thing... that went down in Egypt. Very sky-moving."
