Treated Arakiss to two outfits today. I'm not super happy with the blanket, I'll see if I can sew one myself. The saddle also came with a helmet but I don't have a rider yet.
Well, here's my top ten favorite exclusive Schleich horses. I apologize for the sound not being good but I use my phone to record and I'm not good at talking while recording 😅
First garage sale of the year!!!!
Didn't find anything spectacular but I am happy with what I got! Some nice Playmobil, a Winx I did not have, a manatee and a few Lorcana Cards.
I already have the 2 mlp G1 but I couldn't leave them!

I drew the comic for the Nr. 49 episode of the Schleich comic series “Horse Club” in collaboration with Comicon studio and colors by Eva Blank, story by Sophie Luise Bauer. It is published by Blue Ocean Entertainment
I remember the time I tried to fit in with the girls in primary school by forcing myself to be a horse girl like them. I liked horses well enough (tho I was and still am a bit scared of them. big animals who's cues and movements I'm bad at interpreting) and loved the novels and other horse themed trinkets I'd get in the Pony Club subscription box I begged my mother to get for me, collecting Schleich horse figurines was fun as well, even had the stables and all
my parents never allowed me to go to actual horseback riding classes tho, the usual reasoning being I'd not stick to it anyway and it'd be a huge waste of what little money we had. and turns out just liking the same things as the girls didn't cut it. I didn't have the necessary social skills to get along with them anyway.
I kinda miss that phase of my life sometimes, mostly the reading tbh. I'm 100% viewing it through heavily rose-coloured glasses, but there were some good moments for sure.

Sofia competes in Dressage with Emma but she wants a horse to practice jumping with. That's why she also got Arakiss. But Arakiss is young and inexperienced. Quite the challenge for Sofia!
First getting to know Arakiss.
Leading her around with full tack.
Riding her with tack.
Another time without a saddle.
Its going okay but Arakiss is easily spooked and doesn't always understand what Sofia wants her to do.
Sofia spends a lot of time on foot too, so that the two can get to know each other. Sofia is also thinking about finding a trainer. Even though she has experience with horses it's the first time she is training a horse this young and this fresh.
She knows it's going to work out. They just need time.
The garage sales are becoming less and less exciting this year. Almost no vintage toys (and none this week)!
The Nanana Doll is really cute but missing a huge part of hair! It was cut when the previous owner cut the tag! (I can't complain, she was only 1€!) and I am so happy about the little Cave club dino!
I drew the comic for the Nr. 46 episode of the Schleich comic series “Horse Club” in collaboration with Comicon studio and colors by Eva Blank, story by Sophie Luise Bauer. It is published by Blue Ocean Entertainment
oh man, still can't believe I tried to be a horse girl for a couple years in primary school to fit in with all the horse girls to try and make friends The Normal Way
had a subscription to an expensive horse-themed trinkets and books box (Pony Club, LOVED the books btw wish I still had them), collected SO MANY of the expensive Schleich horse figurines/action figures that were all the rage back in the day, even begged my parents to buy the stables set so all the horses had a place to live. I even learned the most niche and obscure horse care and behaviour facts and trivia. ngl I did have fun but it didn't win me any new friends among my peers lmao
probably because I was too poor to attend riding lessons or have my own real life horse to care for like they did, or because I was Just Too Fucking Weird in general lol
In 2020 I started working with Wild River Games on Horse Club Adventures, my first major game project. It’s a cheerful riding game for kids set in the Horse Club universe, a toy line of the german manufacturer schleich.
When I joined the team the game was already in development for some time, there was a basic narrative and some dummy dialogs – so basically there were story pieces I had to sort out and rearrange into a story.
As the team on this game was rather small it was not only a writing job, but also narrative design and supervision of the localisation and voice over recordings – basically everything that had to do with the story and the texts.
My tasks in narrative design:
arranging a story out of already existing parts
developing an overarching story to connect individual story beats
quest design
scripting the game in Articy
My tasks in writing:
dialogs
quest journal and task instructions
diary entries (game day summaries)
game intro/outro
Horse Club Adventures was released in 2021 and although some players criticize the simple game play, in the end they seem to enjoy the happy and peaceful atmosphere the game creates.
