I'm in love with Sophia Light, badly.
And also I have an insane fixation on SCP-7777 and SCP-8980, but there's literally no content with them :(

Sorry that I and other people have been filling your inbox with questions, I promise I'll ask less
1. What was the hardest thing about writing 8980?
2. What inspired you to write 7777 and 8980?
3. Will you write more about the foundation after 7777?
4. How did you get into writing in general?
5. Is there any advice you want to give to new writers?
It's all good, though I try to take a break from answering every few days so people that follow me don't get bombarded by 8980 posts constantly haha.
1: I think all of it was very difficult to write, but the hardest part was — unsurprisingly — the amnestics scene. Not just because of the subject matter, but also how to convey the horror of it properly.
2: SCP-7777 was inspired by my real experience working with and in HR-like bodies. My background in psych made me come to hate Industrial-Organizational Psychology, and 7777 was basically a vent piece about how evil HR can be sometimes.
SCP-8980 was inspired by like, a bajillion things. I think I've spoken about it elsewhere, but if I went into everything that inspired SCP-8980, we'd be here all day.
3: Perhaps. I know I keep saying "maybe", but it largely depends on if I feel inspired to.
4: The SCP Wiki! Discovered it when I was young, and always wanted to write for it since then. All it took from that point was a lot of practice.
5: Read a lot! On the Wiki, off the wiki, real books, news articles, anything and everything you want to, just read a lot of it! And when you get bored of that, read something else! When you read, you begin to see all the little tips and tricks authors use in their works, and then you amalgamate that into your own style naturally, producing your own flavor and technique. Reading is the most important part of writing!

SCP-7777
Link here
SCPs that aren't actually anomalies are going to be the end of me. I got to this one by scp-8980 and while I always new the foundation had corruption by the hints other writers have left and it just makes sense the foundation is huge and old and typically people that pride themselves as being the better man/good person are some of the worst people you can meet. These two and most likely the ones linked to them are such a violent slap in the face. It's realistic horror, this is what happens in businesses and companies everywhere over all time. I'm glad that there is some hope in it, that people are working towards getting rid of those awful people and hiding the true nature of this SCP from those who might try to destroy it, again.

SCP-8980 is interesting. On its own I dislike it, it's one of those horror stories that could literally just be replaced by doomscrolling Twitter for thirty minutes with no changes in the themes or message of it. The broader context the link to 7777 gives it, however, paints a picture of the Foundation (and its underlying like fifteen competing levels of corruption) that is a lot more compelling than the skip itself IMO.

uSCP-7777: The Quantum Cat
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: uSCP-7777 is to be kept in a standard containment chamber with a minimum area of 10 square meters. The chamber must be furnished with standard feline amenities, including a litter box, scratching post, and toys. uSCP-7777 is to be fed a standard feline diet and must undergo regular veterinary checkups.
Description: uSCP-7777 is a domestic shorthair cat with black and white fur. The entity's anomalous properties manifest in the form of quantum entanglement. When uSCP-7777 is observed, it will exist in a superposition of states, meaning that it can be simultaneously in two or more states at the same time. For example, uSCP-7777 may be observed sitting on a chair and simultaneously observed sleeping in a different part of the containment chamber.
Furthermore, when uSCP-7777 is not being observed, it will disappear from its current location and reappear in another location within a range of approximately 20 meters. The entity's disappearance and reappearance are instantaneous and occur without any discernible means of transportation.
The entity's behavior is typical of a domestic cat and does not appear to be affected by its anomalous properties. uSCP-7777 is sociable and enjoys interacting with humans and other animals.
Addendum: Due to the nature of uSCP-7777's abilities, interactions with the entity must be closely monitored. Any unauthorized attempts to interact with uSCP-7777 are strictly prohibited. Further research into the entity's properties and the full extent of its abilities is ongoing.

Hiii!!! Time for a bunch of Flora Marinos and scp 7777 questions because i need her directly injected into my veins
1. Was 8980 sort of a "final straw" where she went: "alright buckaroo, no ms. nice girl"
2. Do you have an appearance for her in mind?
3. Was she also a target, who might've gotten killed by O5-6?
4. What age would you give her?
5. So, at the end of SCP-7777, Jones says that there are too much coincidences, does that mean that SCP-7777 is not only a conspiracy, but also an anomaly? Perhaps the wish for Foundation to face their crimes created an anomaly?
6. Would Marinos and Lillian have a good relationship if they knew eachother? And what dynamic would they have?
7. Do you think its possible for the Ethics Committee to actually fight against corruption, atleast after SCP-7777
8. Is Marinos cool as fuck?
Oh goodness, I completely forgot I had this in my asks. Sorry I took so long to write this.
1: Yep. SCP-8980 was the despair event horizon for Marinos.
2: Nothing beyond that she's older (and it shows) and white.
3: Possibly. I personally headcanon that Silverstein just got sloppy with one of the jobs and outed himself, but Marinos had experience and could stay mostly hidden.
4: Prooobably late 60s?
5: You can headcanon it, though I intended it as an entirely non-anomalous conspiracy.
6: Marinos would probably be someone Lillian goes to for advice. I'd think they'd have a good relationship.
7: Not really. They were largely complicit in the Foundation's corruption. If I rewrote 7777, I would probably have the Ethics Committee reinstate the O5 Council with new members to ensure a "balance of powers", which would emphasize their nature as faux-resistors.
8: Absolutely.

Hiya; i was just wondering; please forgive me if this is the wrong person/if you no longer wish to associate with these sort of things. So i was browsing the web and i came across a video on SCP-7777 by detective void, i really liked the SCP and went on google images (because its design makes me so happy for some reason aaa); and i was able to trace this account back to 7777, I'm curious what your opionon is on videos like that including that SCP? have an awesome day! feel free to ignore this.
Ugh that video is still up huh? Yes, you've got the right person. I do not like that video and I do not like or support the other videos made about my character. My oc was stolen for that guy and others to use for views, I wasn't asked or even told about it, people in the community and even people from the Wiki told me. The character, Gos, is not an SCP anymore, and I've since distanced myself from SCP as a whole because of the stress
Just in case, here's Gos' toyhouse as proof of when I made him vs when that video was posted
