Eald Bycatch the Eeler's Choice Frankenplushie!

I know I said I didn't see myself making one, but I got inspired!

For the base, I used a baby blue teddy bear whose fur had a ripple / wave pattern

Eald Bycatch uses parts of eighteen different plushies; three of them I had to cut up specifically to build her, but the other fifteen donor parts came from my scrapbox.

(if you're interested, it's the base bear and the two dolphins - I used all of the dark blue dolphin but I still have the pale blue one's tail and the head of the Clintons bear I decapitated to form Eald Bycatch's body)

This makes Eald Bycatch the plush amalgam with the second most beanies used in her creation - Natalie Shoes the Earthbound / Mother 3 Horseantula chimera inspired by Loki's mutant horse child Sleipnir has her beat with combining parts of twenty one different stuffed animals!

My design for Eald Bycatch is heavily inspired by Doctor Alfred R Baldey the Marine Bearologist, a frankenplushie made for me by my partner for my birthday in 2022

Doctor A R Baldey's apperance is canonically the result of an accident in his lab that merged him with a deep sea eel and some frog spawn, so modeling Eald Bycatch on him seemed astonishingly appropriate!

Eald Bycatch is also a personal milestone for me; when I first started making frankenplushies back in 2020, I made Burr-Ty the Ars Goetia Demon plush based on Buer. At the time, my partner told me "I think this is the weirdest one you've made so far".

After that, every time I made a plush amalgamate that I thought was particularly weird, I'd show it to him and ask, "Is it weirder than Burr-Ty?"

And every time he'd take it from me, turn it around in his hands, think for a while and say, "No, I think Burr-Ty is still weirder."

Even Brr-sing, the Earthbound / Mother 3 Ostrelephant chimera only got a "oh, you're unique!" out of him.

This time, when I showed him Eald Bycatch, he held her up to the light, turned her this way and that, and said, "Hmm. Yeah. Yeah I think she's up there."

Finally.

If you want to lean more about the sexy sea lady that is Eald Bycatch, you should absolutely be listening to @eelerschoice season one, and consider bringing more wet beasts into the audiodrama sphere by donating to their season two crowdfund

I guess now I have to make Accounts from a Lonely Broadcast Station's Big Boy to be her shitty ex-boyfriend that all her eel friends hate...

3月31日(月)晴

久しぶりの平日休み。髪を切りに出かける。さっぱりした後は無性にうどんが食べたくなりうどん屋へ。

世阿弥の『風姿花伝』を読了。能楽のことについて書かれているが他の事にも通ずる部分がある。

ラジオの電話人生相談で小学生の息子が財布からお金を取るといった内容と上司が理由なく不機嫌で机をバンバン叩くといった2つ相談をしていた。息子も上司も気を引くためにやっているから愛情不足みたいに相談者は言われててなんだか気の毒だった。小学生の息子は最高で20万盗んだというからそんなレベルではない気がする。

家の片付けを済ませビールをケース買いするため酒屋へ。明日から値上げするせいか人が多い。酒屋もキャンペーンをやっていた。

テレビでフジテレビ問題をやっていたが、こういうのは氷山の一角なんだろうと冷ややかな目で眺める。

トスカの曲を流しながら、scrapboxの整理をする。自分の中で記録しておくために読んだ本や見た映画・ドラマ、買ったものなどをまとめる事にした。ただ日々を過ごして何も記憶なく終わっていくのは無駄になる気がするからきちんと整理しておく事にした。あとは気に入った音楽もどうにか記録しておくように考えたい。

for those unaware because they don't similarly comb through frog96's scrapbox (which, i highly, highly recommend if you're a fan of their music) lost delusion was explicitly inspired by this specific cut of pentatonix's lucky charms video!

This song has a pretty clear homage (copy) source, and it starts at 1:06 in the video below, where Pentatonix sings the commercial for the famous American cereal "Lucky Charms." If you listen to it, you'll notice that it's very similar (especially the texture at the end). The original version of this video has disappeared, so I don't really know what the song itself is (I wonder if it's an a cappella cover of a commercial), but I really love the 15 seconds starting at 1:06, and I'll keep this section forever. There was a time when I had to go back and play it again and again, but it was so short that I felt like, ``I just want to listen to this part for about 3 minutes…'' and that became the motivation for creating this song. I am. So the rhythm, chords, melody, and most of the ideas are based on the 15 seconds above.

other inspirations for this song include inabakumori (just in general) & hitorinbo envy, which is more than evident, but it's so cool seeing that confirmation!

sorry if this is a dumb question but how do you deal with limited weight of stuff you can have in 76? it seems like my stash is constantly full no matter how much I take out...

oh Evil Wizard Shit. personally. i have a full set of unyielding/weapon weight deep-pocket armor, and two cursed apparels granting +2 strength and two more ww stacks. so i keep a lot of my valuables on me because they're lighter that way

I also use most of the weight management perks most of the time. 15 str. chemist's backpack mod frees up the 3 str points you would probably be using on Traveling Pharmacy...at the cost of the deep packpack mod's 60 lbs of equipment. but the deep backpack also makes you vulnerable to energy damage

anyway. im constantly over encumbered. one time a shop glitch gave me like 400 scrap kits so i use those liberally to keep moving

(you will also probably never be able to sprint in power armor unless you engineer it to manage weight as well)

sorry for the bleak answer. the truth is most players struggle with the weight limit and this discontent is built into the monetization through the scrapbox

Is fallout first worth it, I dont play super often but all the cool stuff I want this season is locked behind it LOL

honestly, to me, it's only worth it if you build a lot. or, hate dealing with other people. you get access to the scrapbox + ammobox which is infinite and you get private worlds. and custom worlds. plus 1650 atoms but that's only if you care abt atomic shop items.

personally, i get it for 1 month every season. saves me money doing so and i get all the cool stuff on the scoreboard. also i get to stay away from people for a month and hoard all of my junk items. i build a lot, so it just helps me stay stocked up on junk.

also i do have a friend list and they're all free to join my private server if they want to and without asking. i really do not care. (my husbutch's part of a rp group and they bum off each other's private worlds often, so i just got used to that lol.) just saying that because people on your friend list might bum off your private server- which isn't a big deal. or, well, you can turn that off to where it's only your private team that's on the server.

but i do have to say something- if you do get it, and you're on PS, please make sure you know the date you got it. because i've had it to where even though i've turned it off, auto-renewal magically turns back on on its own. so the day before, just turn it back off again, or cancel your subscription.

2025年5月の月報

労働が思いのほか忙しいなーしてたらもう6月ですよ。信じらんねえ。

月報という名のなんかとりとめない長文です。

インプット週間みたいな状態のまま6月に突入しました。クリアしてなかったフリゲ―をDLしなおして遊んだり、クレしんの映画見返したり。

◎ruinaを遊びました リメイク出たら遊ぶかーって思ってたのに音沙汰ないから… 過去に使ってたパソコンは「神殿に拾われた孤児♀」でやろうとして止まってたはずなので、またそれ今のPCでやるかな…と思ってたんだけど。どうしても固定メンバーにしたくなるほどパリスを気に入ってたので、実質的に家族な「罪人の遺児♂」でスタートした始末。だってあいつの妹ちゃんが目を覚まさなくなってからスタートなんだぞ！？お留守番させられるか気の毒な！男二人が確定してるし残りは女の子連れて行くかなーネルかテレージャさんか…って感じだっ��のに、ずっとシーフォンを連れ回してた。全体攻撃魔法できてありがたかったけど、結果的に何処に出しても恥ずかしいチンピラ3人組になっちゃった。 しかしruinaのカーソルで移動してポイントをクリックして進めてく方式、すげえいい。方向音痴に優しすぎる。ゲームでも現実でも方向音痴するし道迷ってエンカウントしてそのまま全滅ってアホなことする常習犯な人間に、Ruinaはマジで優しい。もうこれ危ないじゃんてなった時スタコラサッサできるのありがてえ～～～。 正直もっとこの移動方法したゲーム増えて良いと思うんですけどそんな見ませんね？きっと私が見落としてるだけなんだろうが… 無いなら技術を積み重ねて私が作る。言うだけただなので言っちゃう。裏山で薬草取りに行くそんな短編どころか掌編なゲームからスタートしてやる。手書きマップを作れるようにならなきゃ…。

◎映画クレしんの話 ずっとネトフリで見てました。気分転換も兼ねて。ハイグレ大魔王～カスカベボーイズくらいまではビデオなり何なりで昔見てた（オトナ帝国～カスカベボーイズまでは当時映画館で見た）という、思い返すとすごい良い時期のものに触れられた子ども時代だな…。大画面でオトナ帝国とアッパレ戦国を見た子ども時代、すごい幸運では？ 小さいころ見てたやつ見返すと、やっぱり思う事変わったりしますね。子どもの頃ってキャラの活躍とかそっちに興味が行くから、細かいとこ全然覚えてないんだよね。ヘンダーランド群馬にあること見返すまで覚えてなかった（し、終盤しんちゃんが1人で電車乗り継いでヘンダーランドまで行くのすげえなあーって…N〇VITIMEとかない時代だし…私はスマホないと乗り換えも危うい大人なので余計に…）。雲黒斎でみさえがバッグをやたら取り戻したがるの何でかな？ブランド品だからかな？こんな返せ返せ言わなかったら珠にされなかったんじゃ？とか小さいころは思ってたんだけど、見返したら貯金通帳と実印を入れててそりゃ何が何でも取り返したがるわってなったり。他にも、「ABBAAB→→←」って今思うと本当に格ゲーのコマンドか？？？？とか。ヤキニクロードに出て来る敵役がしんちゃんにスチーム噴射してたとことかで「ライン越えじゃん5歳児だぞ」てドン引きしたり。 でも当時ゲラゲラ笑ってたとこで、今もゲラゲラ笑っちゃったので、なんかこう…私まだそういう感性あるんだなって思いましたね。こういうのってなんとなく、いい歳したら変に落ち着いちゃって「当時笑ってたけど今見ると…」ってなっちゃうもんだと勝手に思ってたので。カンチョーとかでゲラゲラ笑えるもんなんだなーってケツだけ爆弾に出て来る組織名とかああいうのマジで笑っちゃって駄目。逆に当時意味わからなくて、（ようは一緒に見てる親がゲラゲラ笑うタイプのネタ）スルーしてたのに、大人になってから馬鹿みたいに笑っちゃったネタもある。温泉のやつの、ゴジラのBGM聴いて後退しちゃう自衛隊の皆さまとか。多分映画ドラえもんや映画ポケモンも、こんなかんじで見返すと新たな発見があるんだろうなあ。

そんなこんなでもう1年のうちの半分に突入し始めてるの。マジで時間の流れ怖すぎ。流石に私もScrapboxあたりでマンスリーのページ作ったりすることを覚えました。固まり切ってない構想やら雑感やら、誰にも見せられないページがバンバン出来てく。

誕生日に買ったエアロバイクを漕いだりしてるけど関節のが先に根を上げるからちょっとずつだし、創作も運動もなんかもうちょっとずつだな私。焦らず積み重ねてるんだって思うことにするか…。

6月22日(日)曇後雨

起床後家の用事を済ませ来週の仕事のスケジュールを確認し、scrapboxの整理を行い、溜まっていたドラマを消化し日記を書く。この頃の日曜日のルーチンになっている。

梅雨空が戻ってきて夕方から雨。ちょうど散歩に出かけたタイミングで降り始める。相変わらずついてない。
