We Need To Talk About (Character) Throws A Tantrum

Possible idea for a future Miraheze page criticising ScratchPad and Parody wikis

(Character) Throws A Tantrum is a page series, mainly on Parody Wiki and Scratchpad Wiki, where a character, usually a troublemaker, or character the person behind the page hates, goes to a local store, usually that of videos, toys, or video games, etc.

The troublemaker character asks the parents, guardians in question, or caregivers in general, if they can have a certain item they want, only for the other two characters to refuse, usually due to it being expensive, or the caregivers not having the money for this.

When the parents sometimes offer a cheaper substitute or the character to wait until their birthday, the troublemaker refuses to wait or refuses the cheaper one, and they demand the thing they want.

And, of course, they throw a rather hostile tantrum in their typical fashion, which angers the parents enough to drag them home, and oftentimes lock them in their rooms.

Why These Pages Will Make You Throw A Tantrum Big Time

Note; If you ever think about redeeming qualities, then that would make this rather embarrassing. Please, refrain, because you're not gonna go scot-free for this behaviour THAT easily if you act up in the real world.

1.) To get the troublemaker out of the store, these pages are lazy and repetitive as they involve a usually mature, or well-behaved character being flanderized into a generic, unlikeable troublemaker with little to no personality whatstsoever.

2.) If anything, this is basically a ripoff of the Grounded videos regarding troublemakers misbehaving at public locations from Vyond. Not to mention how unfunny and/or mean-spirited these pages are.

3.) It's rather nonsensical that the parents are strict enough to refuse to let the character(s) have something so small, even a measly DVD. It may be good to cope with not getting anything you desire from time to time regarding gratitude, but it's not a good idea to not allow someone to get even one thing they want.

4.) The parents of certain characters are usually non-canon in the actual media. Things like that.

5.) Some of the characters are adults, and are too old to throw tantrums, or get grounded to begin with, to be fair, which throwing tantrums overly makes them out of character, not to mention the writer shows very little to somewhat no research to the characters, via character derailment. Yikes.

Day 5/366:

I am a hoarder of all things that make me look I have an organized life: planners, notebooks, highlighters, pens, post it notes, index cards, magnetic to do lists, etc.

I have been carrying this one around me with for a while and honestly should called it my ADHD journal. For so many years I’ve honestly lost count now, I have had so many things stuck in my head; from recipes to dreams to To-Do lists to Christmas gifts to quotes to travel plans to furniture dimensions to self help book responses. I really have no idea what I would do without a notepad and I really believe everyone should have one.

Here’s to continuing to day dream and may the pen always be mightier than the sword.

laughing my ass off at the first draft Gyarados backsprite from the leaked scratchpads for Diamond and Pearl. it feels like the artist eyeballed the already janky RSE backsprite- which, in turn, was clearly adapted from the janky GSC backsprite!!!! this awful drawing stuck around for two generations before finally looking SO bad in the early DP scratchpad that someone put an end to it (and the decision to zoom into a closer angle was made)

i was going through my two old book of shadows notebooks and came across a spell that came to me in a dream a few years ago and i dont really remember it working, but i thought about maybe trying it as a tea before spellwork since a lot of the correspondences align with amplifying your power. i hope i actually remember it next time i do an actual spell.
