they happen to be the first thing he sees when he comes back. it's only brief, because it's not only vyn he needs to see, it's dakota and tide and ashe and mark and lightspeed and alastyr. but for a brief moment, he catches those eyes again, and he can feel the equator of his body sting with a phantom pain, but he smiles. because no memory can do them justice.

Hii!!!!!!!! Oh gosh I don’t know. There’s so many good moments!! Like the trash checking, knuckles punching that arcade machine, when sonic gets murdered obviously, the little chao charm thing!! The “think!” running part was great too I agree with that, like the fact the mc has to play a silly little mobile game to think clearly is so. It’s great to me. There’s soo much to pick, maybe the trash? Or or Sonic forgetting his one job. Or Shadow printing out the home page and not the actual tickets. There’s a lot it’s one of my fav games for a reason lmao.

She keeps her mortal friends closer to her chest, she knows they'll die before her, so the time with them is precious. Her immortal friends are close to her chest too- she has forever with them, and she's not gonna waste it.

i just had a random thoughts abt nbr i think you would like so: !!!!!!!!!

i was thinking and its like, i rlly need to rewatch bitb, but i think a lot of nbr is that trust even after being away so long. like rand and rolan bickered and fought and they've changed but up until the bunker scene rand didn't doubt rolan until it got like. bad bad. which i think is fair, but i don't think kian suspected either of them, and i think rolan suspected kian when he got to the hill but after that trusted him the whole time.

i just think its interesting how kian like. trusted them so readily. yeah he was p oblivious tbf abt the bug thing but even after acknowledging and knowing and distrusting others - like mr dickman after rolan rescued him, he never doubted rolan or rand i think and i think that trust even after not seeing them for so long interests me and shows his loyalty :3

theres - also kian saying to rolan that he would always saying he'd always be rolan deep to him to rolan, and kian trusting rand enough to say to him he'd save him if something happened in the bunker when planning to see becky

also his loyalty to Becky 2 !! obvi bc yk he was attached to her for like. decades after!! he /was/ cautious abt her, but still trusted and loved her enough to vist ^_^ for kian its abt trust i think. which makes him lying constantly abt his identity interesting cause it contrasts his trust in them despite them changing but this is getting kinda long so o77 i'll stop it here >_<

AGH they’re so!!! this is a really good point kian trusts SO much for someone who also.. doesn’t at all.. I think maybe that’s part of why he started revealing things about himself like the idea of “if I can trust this person isn’t a bug I can trust they won’t hate me for [insert thing here]” like I wouldn’t be surprised if they were secrets he planned to take to the grave but then he Did and he decided he didn’t want to

but yes yes that’s very interesting.. I guess maybe there’s a sense of someone’s identity not being what they say it is being something he can relate to? Like everyone points out the queer elements of rolan’s story so kian also kind of relating to that makes sense to me. like these are people he’s known his whole life even if they fell apart for a bit - no matter what their identity is they’re still Them. this is maybe why his level of trust differs - he can trust that they won’t hurt him because of Them but he can’t trust that he won’t do something that’ll turn them away from him if that makes sense?

and yes yes it shows his loyalty to rand rolan and becky :] i think yeah they all have like a pretty high level of trust in each other even despite how much time they spent distant and even though they probably (definitely, in kian and becky’s case, and arguably in rolan’s) shouldn’t
