Yugioh-TMNT voice acting crossovers
It's amazing just how many of these there are.
Most obvious one is Raph being voiced by Yusei-you can hear it right away if you've spent a good amount of time with both shows.
Then there's Mikey, voiced by our favorite sidekick Joey Wheeler(nyeh!)
Casey's voiced by Mark Thompson, who played Duke Devlin, Chazz Princeton, and even Astral in the later series.
April's voiced by Veronica Taylor, most famous for being the original Ash Ketchum but who also played Carley Carmine in 5D's(the girl with the swirly glasses who was basically Jack's sidekick)
Several more minor characters are voiced by Sean Schemmel, who played several other minor characters in 5Ds, such as the tournament competitor Gryder and the Ener-D scientist Zigzix.
And lastly, and also the one that surprised me the most, Master Splinter's VA has only one other major role, but that's as none other than Maximilian Pegasus. You can kinda hear it sometimes, but you gotta listen hard.

Just found out that the main protagonist of the 2009 game The Saboteur, Irish racecar driver Sean Devlin was based on real life racecar driver William Grover-Williams.
Tumblr media
Grover-Williams won the first Monaco Grand Prix race in 1929. During World War II, he would join the war effort by joining Britain's Special Operations Executive (SOE) and going behind enemy lines in France. He was successful in a number of missions alongside the French resistance until he arrest by the Nazi Gestapo in 1943.
Its believed that after being deported to Nazi Germany, he would be executed in 1945 while a prisoner at the Sachsenhausen concentration camp.
If you haven't played the Saboteur, you can do so as the game is part of EA Play. Its a fun romp. Driving around 1940's Paris and the French countryside is awesome. And its always fun to blow up Nazis and add some color to Paris. Give it a go!

June 15 - Dublin
Got online tickets for Kilmainham Gael, the Irish prison that opened in 1796 as a Dublin County jail and a Debters prison. in reality, this jail was frequently used by the British as a political prison. Many of those who fought for the Irish independence were held or executed here, including the leaders various rebellions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was heralded at the time as it was the first British prison to feature cells designed for one prisoner. The latest in more humane treatment of the incarcerated. (Not so much). Great tour. After that we visited the Northern Liberties neighborhood where our former neighbors Sean and Jen lived when he attended grad school at Trinity College. Their apartment and a neighborhood pub are below …yes, we stopped for two pints and some toasties.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Liberty Belle was established in 1845 and honors Anne Devlin. She was the confident of Robert Emmett, the leader of the failed rebellion in 1803. She suffered for 2 1/2 years in Kilmainham Gaol for refusing to inform on her comrades. For 45 years she was followed by the police, hoping she would lead them to her comrades, but they failed in their efforts. This Liberty Belle dedicated her life to the cause of Irish freedom.
Then off to Grafton street for a stroll ending at St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin’s Central Park.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We had a 3pm ticket for the Book of Kells in the Old Trinity Library. The book of Kells, a 1200-year-old version of the four gospels, was elaborately, inked, and meticulously illustrated by faithful monks. Combining Christian symbols and pagan styles, it’s a snapshot of medieval Ireland in transition. Arguably the finest piece of art from what is generally called the dark ages, the book of Kells shows the monastic life in this far fringe of Europe was far from dark.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The book of Kells contains the four gospels of the Bible. Each gospel begins with a full page depiction of the evangelist and their symbols: Matthew (angel), Mark (lion), Luke (ox), and John (eagle)
