Mornings, or sometimes afternoons, are for coffee. This latte is from @connectedcoffee located in @hfxstanfield and they serve @anchoredcoffee. This cuppa was very good. It was rich and had a pronounced coffee flavour. It was served at the correct temperature - not too hot. Mornings are for coffee. This latte is from @grounded.halifax. They did a great job with this cup. It was textured beautifully with an excellent espresso pull. They’re also located in the Historic Properties that dates back to the 1800’s and is one of the oldest landmarks in the city. Wedged between hair salons and money marts in a nondescript strip mall next to the bridge you’ll find Bagel Montreal Style. This bagel bakery was the first one of its kind in Halifax to hand roll and bake in a wood burning oven. They have lots of selection, house-made cream cheese, and very reasonable prices. I recently revisited @cafelunette.hfx after some time, and although I was initially dissatisfied with my first visit, this time was very different. I’m not sure if it was time to work out the kinks, or the acquisition of @teymour_adham, but they seriously stepped up their game. The World of Coke store in @disneysprings is a three story modern space filled with coke products from modern times to gone-bye eras. This space is both retail and museum with items to purchase and lots of information on the history of the brand. The top floor features a @cocacola cafe with a range of Coke based menu items to choose from and it has spectacular views of Disney Springs. The entire space has a sense of nostalgia and American pride.
