i went to a second-hand bookshop yesterday and i just love them bc you get all these old book whether they're classics or random books no ones heard of but they all have story's bc these could have been someone's fav book that they read over and over again or it could have been one that someone read once and never read again and its like they are getting another life like for instants i got the picture of Dorian gray(bc i haven't read it before) and Mansfield park(both me and my mum love jane Austen but haven't read this book so) but both were worn and you can just see how they've been read so many times like i don't know who owned these books before me but i like to think who ever did must've loved it, and also seeing the type of books like there was Austen(so fiction) but also autobiography's and cooking books and embroidery books and studying books and there was even a book on Greek verbs and words and its just really mindblowing, so yeah i just feel like they are little treasure troves and i love them
