Finley stopped the moment the chair started moving. He stayed motionless for a few seconds after Dr Einar finished speaking before planting a hand on the nearest counter, not quite leaning on it. "Fine. Fine. What do you want?" He asked as the rat on his shoulder jumped off and ran... Through the wall? No, the light bent around her. Finley didn't look down to see if she'd made it through.

Finley was startled away from whatever he had been working on- some pointless little trinket- and looked up. "Hm? Wait, what-" they squinted, a bit puzzled by the appearance of this figure.

A young adult with scruffy brown hair tumbles through the window, crashing onto the floor.

"Hi! Finley Rose, right?" They grin, holding out a hand for you to shake. Their accent is English. There are flowers growing from their hair and they're acting like this is a normal thing. "I'm Skelly! Nice to meet you!"

Finley looked over his shoulder, away from something he’d been working on. “Wh- oh!” They hurriedly put his project down, then whirled around, “Hello, there! Yep! That’s me.” He replied, eyes briefly sliding to the window- he thought he’d put bars over all of them to ward off intruders- before accepting Skelly’s handshake. “Nice to meet you, too. You've been trying to join the society, right?"

I absolutely hate it when new materials come packed in Styrofoam. It always gets everywhere, and once my supplies came BROKEN packed in that stuff. Why? It doesn't need to exist.
