I just started watching Secrets of the Shadow Sect and wow. The female lead is just like me for real (well in my imagination at least)- in that she spends her time bedecked in fabulous gowns and jewelry, lounges on a fur covered divan and shamelessly sticks her hands into the clothes of extremely good looking men who kneel before her. And when she caressed and punctured the wound she had given the male lead 10 years previous and then smeared the blood on his lips after he proclaimed that his life was hers to take.... I felt so seen.

C'est l'histoire d'une lutte de pouvoir entre sectes combattantes.

Ling Xuan, est une jeune dame qui se fait passer pour une idiote inutile, déraisonnable et impitoyable afin que son père le chef de secte la laisse tranquille. En effet, elle a héritée de techniques secrètes "Wanxin" de sa mère. Elle prend comme garde du corps Ying Shi, un élite dans sa secte.

Ying Shi a pour mission secrète de récupérer les techniques Wanxin de la jeune dame de maison. Pour gagner sa confiance, il va lui avouer sa vraie identité à savoir celui d'un frère qui avait un sœur mourante lors de son voyage il y a dix ans. En échange de sauver la vie de la sœur cadette, elle avait proposé un pacte de dix ans avec le jeune homme. Elle l'avait amené au Pavillon des Ombres de la Spiritual Heaven Sect pour une formation. S’il pouvait survivre et obtenir son diplôme dix ans plus tard, il deviendrait son assistant...

À travers les soupçons, les tests et les dangers au cours de leur voyage, ils finissent par instaurer une confiance mutuelle totale. Cependant, alors qu'ils sont tombés amoureux l'un de l'autre, Ling Xuan découvre le secret de la naissance de Ying Shi...

Avis perso: Quelle agréable surprise que de voir un si bon drama dans ce genre; de beaux et bons acteurs, les costumes, les décors, mêmes les musiques sont au top ! On suit l'histoire qui évolue rapidement forcément dans ce genre de drama, mais le thème est sérieux et non surjoué. Un drama à voir :) ❤️❤️❤️❤️🤍
