Submas Gem AU: Ingo Deets

This was inspired by a reblog from @sningo-prompts time to go more in-depth about How Arceus did the Thing and what Ingo can do now!!

(By the way, you can totally just go full submas on your blog if you want to! Just add to your Bio or Header that you’re mostly sningo stuff, but the rest of submas is still on the table to chatter about.)

First off: Arceus making Gems (specifically turning Ingo into one)

Just to clarify, Ingo is a Gem Hybrid and not a “Pure” Gem. He’s still part human, with all the important physical stuff that goes with that. (Like eating, sleeping, breathing, etc. Not totally dependent on light for health/strength)

BUT, with the way Arceus did it, Ingo also has a lot of abilities that “pure” gems would have as well. Like poofing! (Yes, he can poof btw. I can explain it in a sec.)

The only thing I can think of to compare how Arceus did that is computer programing, so that’s how I’m going to line it out.

Funnily enough, there are numerous Pokémon that (individually) have abilities like gems, so Arceus already has the coding to make them.

A Pokémon who’s “heart” is an object- Magearna (not made by Acreus himself, but still counts in my mind)

Pokémon who have Object Dormant forms- Reshiram and Zekrom (the Light Stone and Dark Stones in the games)

A (human) spirit/being tied to an object that wasn’t originally part of them- Spiritomb

Getting energy/power boosts from sunlight- Espeon, any Pokémon with the chlorophyl ability

Injuries/Unconsciousness triggering a defensive ability to heal/protect themselves- The whole Pokémon shrinking down thing that kicks in when they’re defeated/captured

Physical Yet Malleable body that allowed for limited shape-shifting- Ditto, Mew (in the movies/shows), Zorua/Zoroark illusions

(probably toned down compared to Ditto and Mew, but much more solid than the illusions)

All he had to do was tweak the gem to act as the “safe” spot and then plug all those codes all into Ingo!

BOOM! GEM HYBRID!

New Gems and/or More Gems

At this time in my au ideas, Ingo is the only Gem. Not because I think Arceus wouldn’t have made more, but because I’m not sure who else he would have turned/made into them.

As for new gems/Emmet being one, I’d say that (just for Ingo) Arceus plugged the ability to make a (limited number) new gems himself!

My main thought for How was that it was done through fusion (which was the one new code that had to be made in pokeverse).

Basically, if Ingo is close enough to potentially fuse with someone then if they do, there’s a possibility that when they separate the other person will have become a gem too. The exact criteria needed for that are something I’m still debating, but I know that it will happen to Emmet. Not after the first fusion, but it is basically built in to happen eventually.

Currently, there is no change back plan. Although, I guess it could be done if Arceus was hunted down and brought into the issue.

At the moment, once the code is changed, there isn’t anyway to take it out. Not without help.

Gem Injuries: How do they heal?

This one I’ve actually been thinking about a bit, mostly because I realized that was something I didn’t have an answer for when I talked about Mirror Gem Ingo having a crack. So, I had to think.

My first thought is that there’s some kind of solution out there for mending/healing living rock.

There are plenty of rock types and Pokémon with gem/crystal-like growths on their bodies. And those Pokémon are bound to have gotten hurt/injured at some point and needed to heal/recover. Logically, that means there has to be some kind of medicine out there to heal that kind of damage.

So, I would say Ingo/Emmet would first try to use that to heal and injuries to Ingo’s gem. Normally, this stuff probably wouldn't work on a gemstone, but Ingo’s gem counts as a Living Stone so it would be effective.

It’s probably a multi-part process with a very liquidy starting medicine to get the fine cracks deep in the stone; then with thicker, less fluid layers put on top to help with the outer damage. (Then a couple layers of bandages and stuff stuff on top to hold all those in as they worked their magic.)

That covers some of the major points, but I’ll stop here for now. (Time to work on the asks I have next!)

Thats Another Fine Mess

ELON CONTINUES TO SCREW THE POOCH

Returning to our originally scheduled programming, here’s as fine a mess as one can find.

Over the past 40 years, many people have come to believe that a person who is Good at Business - who becomes rich - has done so because of their massive intellect, managerial savvy, and good judgement.

During that time, there have been many examples that disprove such belief, but none so obvious as Donald Trump and Elon Muck. What unites the two is their seething resentment of a world that rewarded them money and influence, but still refuses to grant the respect they think is their due.

Trump has proven that resentment is perhaps the most powerful political force in the modern world. Muck is doing his bit too.

Over the past 12 years, Muck tweeted whatever came to mind, mostly without major negative consequences, even when he tweeted things like informing the world he had the financing to take Tesla private, which had a major effect on Tesla’s stock price and should have gotten him in trouble with the SEC

Now, ten days after overspending by at least $40 billion to purchase Twitter in a financial climate where the $44 billion offer was mostly his “fuck you” money, and then forced to purchase it in a financial climate that puts his entire house of cards at risk, he is finding that his every word matters. And pretty much every word he has spouted in those ten days has made his situation worse by factors of billions of dollars.

Muck is on the hook for $13 billion that is secured by his Tesla stock. If he is forced to come up with the money, selling that much stock will lead to a fire sale that could see him lose upwards of $100 billion of the $200 billion in “assets” that constitute his claim to be the world’s richest man.

Twitter is rapidly becoming a theater of the absurd, worthy of an Ionesco drama, as William D. Cohan put it. Here’s Elon’s dilemma, and it’s a financial doozy: his $13 billion has an interest rate capped at an annual rate of 7.5 percent. So Twitter has to pay nearly $1 billion in interest to its banks each year. That’s basically the same EBITDA Twitter had in 2021. However that’s probably no longer an attainable level of EBITDA in 2022, based on Elon’s Friday tweet alone.

It’s hard to see how Elon can go from losing $1.5 billion a year, if true, to generating the cash flow he needs to keep his creditors off his back, even after firing half the company, and especially if users and advertisers continue to leave. It’s highly unlikely a guy like Larry Ellison will pony up more money to flush after the first billion.

And the possibility of that happening is becoming more and more likely - literally from one tweet to the next.

Tweeting an offensive conspiratorial fantasy to Hillary Clinton about the assault on Paul Pelosi had immediate consequences. Advertisers fled because of that tweet and have continued to do so with each following brainfart. The Pelosi tweet may be the most expensive in history, since so far it has cost Twitter billions in advertising revenue as companies like General Mills, Audi, Pfizer, General Motors and other big institutional advertisiters pulled their marketing because they do not want their brands even remotely associated with anything scandalous.

Muck’s Saturday threat to “name and shame” advertisers for doing what advertisers are expected to do merely demonstrates further his complete incompetence as a manager.

At this point, it might be useful to point out that Elon Muck DID NOT do the following:

He DID NOT invent Paypal. He DID NOT start Tesla. He DID NOT start Space-X.

He is the scion of an Afrikaner family that made their millions in the “blood emerald” and “blood ruby” business in Rhodesia, a company that is still known for its involvement in purchasing “blood” gemstones, also known as “conflict gems,” whose legitimate provenance cannot be proved. They consort with warlords and their profit comes from the deaths of exploited Africans in Africa’s civil wars and general instability of the past 40 years.

He came here with several million dollars and proceeded to hire fellow students at Stanford who actually knew what they were doing to create Paypal, which he did in alliance with now-certified pro-Nazi anti-democrat Peter Thiel.

He then took the money made from that and bought his way into both Tesla and Space-X much the way he bought himself into Twitter, though both of those companies actually made things. Tesla has yet to actually be profitable making his tinny toys, since it depends for the majority of its income on government subsidies for electric car sales. He bought his way in, got rid of the actual people who started the company, and named himself “founder.”

Tesla, in fact, is now falling in sales because the real car companies are eating his lunch, creating EVs that actually work, that don’t need to hide a non-disparagement agreement among all the papers a buyer signs. Companies that act like car companies, not Silly Con Vally tech companies.

Owners are upset when all cars have the same glitch, and over extended periods of time the company doesn’t fix them. The shine is off these tinny toys. Nondisparagement agreements or not, word is getting around.

Musk is not an inventor. He is not “chief engineer” at Space-X.

He is the man behind the curtain Dorothy was told to pay no attention to.

Muck is so bad at what he does that when he had a conference call with ad executives last week to quell their concerns over his tweets and the 500% increase in appearance of the “n-word” on Twitter since he took control, that many of the people on the call literally paused the ads and shifted the accounts elsewhere DURING THE CALL because of the uncertainty his statements were adding to. When he fired half the company over the past weekend, he managed to unwittingly fire Twitter’s chief customer officer, the one responsible for maintaining crucial brand and agency relationships.

The advertisers don’t need Twitter. Compared to the other social media behemoths like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, Twitter barely registers.

When it became known last Thursday that he was going to fire half the employees, he did via an email and didn’t even sign his name to it, an act of cowardice one can list high on “character tells” about him. Many found out about their termination when their work accounts stopped functioning. The cuts hit or totally destroyed major parts of the trust-and-safety, policy, machine-learning, social-good, accessibility, communications, ethical-AI, data-science, and research teams. Those remaining were told to work 80-hour weeks to build products for Musk lest they too be terminated and to come up with ideas to “tantalize” Muck. Today, Bloomberg reported that some of the employees had skills necessary to build products Musk actually wants to launch and were terminated by mistake, and the company is trying to lure them back.

It’s actually amazing there are any employees left.And Muck continues digging the hole deeper. This morning, to the dismay of lost all the brand advertisers left - all of whom strive to be apolitical - Muck endorsed the Republican slate of candidates for tomorrow’s midterm elections to his 114-million-followers. The blowout of advertisers after the Pelosi tweet is nothing compared to what is going on as you read this.Every decision he has made: getting rid of content management, firing half the employees, failing to engage brain before hitting “send” on each tweet, has cost him billions of dollars. Every decision he’s made has lost him money.

Muck is holding a master class in how not to run an effective organization. He is surrounded with a group of yes-men advisers, many of whom also lack specific expertise.Even if he does manage to salvage things, what we are seeing is the opposite of a business mastermind at work. Muck is not leading Twitter with careful vision; he’s bumbling his way through a job he’s unqualified for.The history of capitalism is that you can be very successful and also be a very terrible human being.

In this sense, Musk is an excellent teacher. The great irony is that his achievements with Space-X and even Tsla might have obliterated the perception that he’s a spoiled, rich doofus. Buying Twitter and telling people to vote Republican has pretty much obliterated that possibility.That one tweet will likely cost him many Tesla sales, since it’s mostly the vehicle of choice of rich lefties.The Silly Con Valley Bros need to be reined in. What they are creating is not “progress.” Hero-worshiping the mega-rich is the road to ruin, as we can see around us every day.The lesson we have learned with Muck and Twitter is an old one: it’s better to be thought a fool than to open one’s mouth and prove it beyond all doubt.Yesterday began the second workweek of Musk’s tenure. He celebrated it in the traditional way, by tweeting an image of a Nazi soldier in a meme about birds.

Jargon has basically two meanings/ways this word is used right now. Chapter 5- The insertion (Part 1)

Decades passed in the home world galaxy, everything was different now, as the planet slowly ripped in half, the anguish of the three diamonds remains unscathed and permanent as the infinite suns.

After the incident, White Diamond isolated herself in her giant head ship all day, carrying out duties through simple mind control and formal messages to the higher ranked gems in her court, never needing to leave, never needing to see the empty palace of her starlight or the absent of the pink ship.

Blue Diamond wept, she wept day in, day out, as her only companion to feel happy together was lost and never would she returned. She suffered greatly from losing her, the sadness got so out of hand, under her eyes were dark bags as if they came to warn her about her powers draining her life force. Every now and then, she would visit Pinks sacred planets or the Human zoo, just to mourn for her, just to be reminded how she didn’t help as much as she should, just to feel what was left of her.

Yellow Diamond showed no more than what she already feels, anger. she would be in her chambers, attempting some long forgotten experiments of retrieved gem shards from the battle on Earth. Could she recognize her own soldiers from the rebels? No, it was impossible to distinguish gems by their shards, so she decided to continue the experiment. as she examines the various shards scattered on the counter,she thought of a plan . “If I can’t make a colony out of that hideous rock, then it looks like I’ll have to destroy it. White may have yet to approve my idea, but her refusal of talking anything regarding Pink won’t stop me from wiping that planet out of existence,” she thought as bitterness and anger fueled her, but she knew she was just as heartbroken as Blue, she just couldn’t show it.

She wiped off something from her eye and called out, “Pearl!”

The yellow pearl peeked out behind the counter with her arms in salute, “Yes my Diamond?”

“I want you to seek out the Inordinate one, and get her here immediately, I have a very important mission for her.”

“Yes,right away my Diamond!” Pearl bowed and left the room.

 Back on Earth,

The remains of a war was mostly scattered about, there abandon weapons, obilerated lands, and broken space ships here and there, but no gem shards were shining in the dusty bright dessert, and no real sign of battles can be seen.

A corrupted giant yam monster, the size of a giant boulder was rolling away into an abondoned kindergarden. The Crystal gems, which consisted of Garnet, Pearl and Coral panted as they chased the monster for the whole day, but it was too fast for them.

"Not that i know of, but we need a break, i dont think Coral here can withstand another hit from the monster." She pointed to the aformentioned gem as she looks like shes gonna collapsed at any moment.

Pearl was the first to recover herself and started, "That’s the third time this week it got away! Garnet! Can you see if we're able to take care of it?"

The fusion, paused and go through the multiple outcomes of the situation, but none shows a newly bubbled gem in her room.

The pink pearl was panting and wheezing as she was rather in low health, but she held her head up and assured the two gems that she's fine.

"Really! I'm fine! Let's keep goin-" She almost finished her sentence before collapsing.

Before she went unconcious, she heard Pearl mumbling and complaining, "I knew it was a bad idea! Why was she so insisting on coming along? She was the one that lost track and couldn’t keep a stable stance with it!”

“Pearl,” Garnet said, “You can’t blame her for the inevitable, besides, Rose needed sometime alone and she was the one that suggested we do it together since we can’t all just swing a sword and poof them in an instant! At least she’s trying her best.”

Pearl responded the fusion, “Well maybe, her best just isn’t-”

Coral passed out before she could comprehend her last words, and drifted into some sort of realm of the past, or rather, somewhere that’s so familiar but yet still the same.

She was standing in a dark room, but was suddenly lit up bright, she found that she was in White’s Head ship with her heels up in the air, her arms stiff and stuck in an unsual pose, and she was…greyscaled? Before her stood White Diamond herself, she looked pleased of what she’d just done.

‘Ahh yes,’ The great diamond spoke, but her voice was echoing from somewhere nearby, ‘it’s been a long time since I used my powers but looks like its doing just fine!’

She looked at Coral as if this was a fun game, and only she know how it ends.

‘Don’t be too hard on yourself pearl,’ Her voice was almost, sympathy, pitying the pearl, ‘You wouldn’t want to remember any of this now would you?’

She placed her index finger under Coral’s chin and lifted it up to her bright face, her nail was so sharp it was a miracle her skin didn’t poof on impact.

‘I’m doing you a favour,’ Her voice echoed more, it was louder this time. ‘That crack of yours will never truly heal, she can’t be seen with an old, broken pearl, you understand now don’t you? Besides, she has her new pearl now, so don’t you wory about a thing!’

Coral tried to spoke, she tried to defend herself, but she couldn’t even look away, she doesn’t know WHAT to feel. All she could remember was Pink demanding a colony from the diamonds.

“Now off you go!” A white bubble materialized around her and floated out of the White torso ship. Everything went dark.

 Back at the temple, Coral was lying in her room, tossing and turning and gasped, shes awake.

She found herself on a pile of human clothing, she doesn’t wear them, but they were soft, perfect to lie on and rest when needed. The different shades of pink from ranging from Light to Deep pink to medium violet red can be seen neatly placed in piles, almost the size of a human bed.

“What was that? I don’t think I ever... dreamt before?” Coral questioned herself.

She looked around and saw all the things too familiar, surrounding the pile of clothes was running water in a pink hue, stretching out longer and wider than the sea, but no deeper than a kiddie pool. Above her, pink clouds were drifting through, they seem endless as well, going to the same direction as the sea around her.

“Wait a sec,” Coral suddenly thought, “Weren’t we on a mission or something? Where are the others?” She rose up and took a step out of the comforting pile of fabric and ballerina her way on the water’s surface.

She concentrated and a door size glow materialized in front of her. As the light dimmed, rose stems with thorns glowed and departed, leading her outside her room.

Just as she was half-way through, she heard a voice, no, two voices talking aloud and complaining.

Rose’s voice was first recognized, “-too dangerous, you need Coral on this mission!”

‘For what? All she did was getting trampled and hit by that thing! Any more damage taken would’ve poofed her! Or worse!”

Garnet’s voice joined in, ‘That I agree.”

‘Well, even if she’s not capable of catching the corrupted gem, you should’ve leave her out like this, she’ll be heartbroken if she finds out you went without her!’

‘So? It’s better than her slowing us down! There’s so much more monsters out there, we won’t be able to bubble them all with her around! Garnet and I can’t fight AND  keep her safe at the same time!’

Garnet chipped in, ‘And it’s not that we dislike her, we love her, all of us, but if we’re gonna take care of the planet and avoid locals from getting harmed, we need to bubble as much as possible in the least amount of time.’

A faint sigh can be heard, the leader spoke, ‘If it means less suffering and less humans getting hurt, then I suppose it would be fine for Coral to have a time-out for a few days. You two need to rest, but you should head out before Coral wakes up, all right?’

‘Of course’ said Pearl.

‘Noted.’ said Garnet.

‘Good,” Rose ended, ‘Dismissed’

Coral slipped back into her room before any of them noticed her. She was processing what was heard while the rest of the crystal gems head back to their respective rooms.

I’ll show them, she thought, I’ll show that I’m capable of handling a gem monster AND myself!

When the coast was clear, she quietly tip-toe out of her room and went back to the last known location of the yam monster.

 Just outside the Earth’s orbit, various yellow spaceships can be seen in a form of a diamond, specifically, Yellow Diamond.

Inside the first spacecraft, with green and yellow glowing alien technology far advanced than anything that ever existed, and piloting each ships were handfuls of Era 1 peridots. These peridots each have a triangular gem and the same heights as pearls, but far more intelligent as they are very competent technicians. The peridots were capable of doing various tasks such as data logging, research, communication range bigger than the galaxy without external equipments.

They were busy working on the coordinates and history of the planet Earth, typing required data and analyising it’s past reputation and current resources on the ships available platform and programs.

A peridot stood and walked off from her post, the others took no notice and persume their work. The peridot stood still in front of a door, and a scanner appears from the right wall. The contraption scanned her form for her gem and found it on the back of her left hand, the light scan turn from green to light yellow and beeped.

The door slid open and the peridot went through, her arms in diamond salute as she greets her superior officer.

‘My Anglesite,” She said, ‘I am here to report that we have arrived at the planet’s orbit, do I have your orders and coordinates to land ?’

‘My, my,’ The main gem-in-charge yellow Anglesite replied, wearing a white lab coat and triangular pointy shoulder pads in the colours yellow and white. She wore glasses so thin you could only notice it up front, the right side of her face was covered by her light blonde short hair.

If you think she’s the same as the other gems, she not, cuz her lower half was just hovering circle platform, so she would resemble a vase on the circular coffee table. But, the platform serves as a method of transport, as it is designed to float above any ground so she can travel as same as other gems, it’s just faster and requires her pretty much no energy to be in motion.

at the edge of the platform, robotic hands can sprout out and execute projects better and faster than a normal gem, weapons and defence systems? You dont need to worry about that.

The yellow gem continued, ‘Just as I calculated, looks like even the atmosphere is liking what will be done to that little chunk of rock, wiping it out of our starmaps will be so much faster, and then, the great Yellow Diamond will praise me for my work, promote me and i will finally have the chance to meet my glorious, shining White Diamond!’

The peridot was getting tired of hearing the “possibility” after the mission was complete, but she could only agree with her superior, ‘Of course she will my Anglesite! So, about the course-’

‘Ah yes, set the course towards north of the largest continent on the planet, that is where the final stage of the mission will commence!’ The yellow gem started giggling and laughing, but she gave one last order, ‘That will be all!’ and continued with her laughter.

‘Yes my Anglesite.’ Peridot trudged back to her position and set the course.

The ship entered the planet’s orbit and the technicians went to work.

 It’s been a few hours, the sun was starting to rise, the cold nigh air was starting to warm up the atmosphere as shadows began to crept under the desert lifeforms.

Coral was walking aimlessly through the desert, mumbling and kicking the sand, just wanted to catch that gem monster and prove to them she’s not useless.

I can’t believe they didn’t want me to come along, she thought, I’ve been with Rose longer than Pearl has, and I was there when everything happened, it’s not fair!

She kicked more sand, but the impact wasn’t obvious, since the whole terrain was a desert.

She sighed and sat behind a rock to take a break, physically and mentally.

The whole trip was to catch that monster but she’s done nothing but follow her “instincts” and it led her nowhere. There was no tracks, no damaged that looks like its from a giant yam monster, and most importantly, no idea whats next.

Wait, she thought, whats that on the sky?

Is that….a homeworld spaceship? No wait, there’s more than one?

Ohnononono, she thought, they’re coming back for us!

I have to go back! I have to tell Rose and Garnet and Pe-

….

….

Or…

Maybe this is the chance I’ve been waiting for, to prove that I can handle myself.

Yeah, I wont be able to fight off ships of soldiers, but I can do a little sneaking around, trying to see what’s really going on, or better yet, their plan of attack so we’ll know what’s coming!

Coral summoned her trusty lance and did a quick jog to catch up with the ships.

(Heyo, so...as you finish reading this youll notice it’s pretty different from the story before.

But its not like im trying a COMPLETY different thing, its kinda like the previous chapter where we see what happens on homeworld, but in this chapter, we’re dealing with something that doesn’t really have any leads from the canon series.

Sooo, yeah, the north of the largest continent, Yellow diamonds plan, corrupted monsters, you should have a pretty huge idea of whats going on.

Also, the new gem is very different from what we usually see, but there’ll be a concept art in traditional paper, and probs no colour, just for you guys to see what she looks like, cuz the description of her isnt so...Complete?

But feel free to draw her tho, cuz i guess she kinda an OC here? If you could tell, she’s a gem under yellow’s court, but she also contains little essence from white diamond, which is why she has two diamonds on her design.

So yeah, she will be posted in a few days or smth.

Steve jumped off the couch in a snap.  His phone was going off.  It was the alarm in the cabin. “Who could be there?” he thought.  Steve shrugged it off. The alarm had gone off before, nothing major happened; mostly animals. He called the local police to inquire about it. They told him they would investigate.

His neck was sore from sleeping on the couch, at least he slept some. He was anxious to find out if anything had changed. He went down to the conference room.  All the members of the team were there. There were agents scrambling through amounts of data on their computers. Trying to create any possible scenarios of where you were. They were also looking for Crossbones, any possible sightings of him or his team.

Steve was surprised. Everyone was trying to help. Thor slapped Steve on the back. “Are you ok?” “No. I won’t be until this is all over.” “How’s Bucky?” (Steve) “He’s on his way here. Once he’s back I can determine what happened and how severe his injuries are.” (Bruce) Steve sighed. “Any leads?” “Nope, none. We’re trying to contact local authorities in case they have anything.” (Nat sighed) Steve sighed. “We have to think like her, how we trained her.”

Even though all of the team some of the training, it was best to ask the expert. “Where’s Coulson?” (Tony) “Don’t know, I’ll check with Fury.” (Hawkeye)

15 mins later, Coulson entered the room. “How can I help?” “What’s the most basic training given to the agents?” (Tony) “Along with firearms, tactical, hand to hand combat, and how to survive.” “Survive?” (Wanda) “We train them to have a back-up plan in case they get caught and need to flee.” (Coulson) “Flee, back-up plan?” (Rhodes) “Yes, if they are ever caught or on the run, they need a back-up plan.” (Coulson) They all looked at each other – Flee.

“So Y/N fled from the complex after Gita tried to kill her. With no memory of who she is, her basic instincts would kick in.” (Scott) “Thanks for coming Scott.” (Steve) “I came as soon as I heard Y/N was missing again” (Scott) “So what would she do next?” (Tony) “Possibly to have a way out, get away from the situation. Go off the radar. Anything they needed. Transportation. Have a secure place to store some things they would need.” (Coulson) “So planes, trains and automobiles?” (Vision) “Ok, we need to scour any footage from any possible departure location.” (Thor) “Yea but they’re already doing that, looking for her.” (Wanda) “Wrong, you need to look for someone who’s not running away; trying to blend in, not to be noticed.” (Coulson)  Everyone turned and stared.

Steve didn’t want to hear anymore, nothing new. He left the room. The Avengers watched him leave, they all knew Steve was at his wits end. If they didn’t find you soon, this would affect Rogers for the rest of his life. They’re incredibly worried about him on how much more of this he could take. They continued brainstorming.

“I think there’s more to this than Crossbones, I seen the reaction when Steve seen that key chain. I don’t think Crossbones wouldn’t keep her all this time, he would have tortured Steve and then killed her in front of him. Maybe he’s in league with someone who could have gotten the keys.” (Wilson)

“He’s right. There’s more to this than him. Key chain is the key…no pun intended.” (Nat) “Red Skull was killed by Steve wasn’t he?” (Tony) “No, the Tesseract killed him or as Steve put it, he seemed to be swallowed up by the Tesseract. He just vanished. Steve was on the ship with the bombs before he ditched it. The Tesseract fell into the ocean where your father found it..” (Fury)

”The Tesseract is a power source, one of the infinity gems. The power of the cube would have taken him into itself or it would have destroyed him.” (Thor) “Red skull – any known associates?” (Bruce) “None, most everyone he worked with is dead or the few that remain are deep underground.” (Fury) “Anyone with a grudge?” (Hawkeye) “Could be anyone.” (Nat) “Family?” (Vision) Fury looked up… family?? None that he could think of. “Just rumors….nothing notable.” (Nat)

“Rumors?? Maybe, there always was a possibility. Not everything was completely known. Schmitt was always into everything.” (Fury) They all looked at each other. Could there be something they don’t know. “Friday – Check all known associates of Red Skull” (Fury) “Checking…..analyzing…… Red Skull also known as Johann Schmidt, known as the leader of Hydra - deceased. Dr. Armin Zola – chief scientist for Hydra - deceased Susan Scarbo….follower of Red Skull and his cult - deceased Crossbones, also known as Brock Rumlow - at large Baron Helmut Zemo....programer/handler of Winter Soldier program - being held in the RAFT prison.”

“Who’s Susan Scarbo?” (Wanda) “Friday?” (Tony) “Susan Scarbo…follower of Red Skull. AKA Mother Night. Member of the cult of Hydra. Leader of the Sisters of Sin. Her adopted daughter is Sinthea, daughter of Albert Malik” (Friday) “Wait a minute, Albert Malik?” (Fury) “Albert Malik is an alter ego of the Red Skull!” (Friday) “WHAT??” (Tony leapt out of his chair) “He has a daughter??” “OMG, would she still be alive after all this time?” (Scott) “If she was born after he was subjected to the serum she could be.” (Fury) “That’s it! She’s the one that wants revenge!” (Wilson) “Where’s Steve?” (Thor) “Should we tell him?” (Vision) “Not yet, I want to be sure! If he knew Red Skull has a daughter, he might not react very well” (Nat)

Steve was walking down to the hall - His phone rang.  It was the police in Maine.   “We didn’t find anyone at the cabin….huh…what?.…just a sec sir.” “Tell him about the report.…” (He hears someone in the back ground)” “Oh yeah, just a second, we did get a call about some woman who wanted to go to the logging road where you cabin is. She was dropped off at the entrance. A waitress, Flo, at the local diner was concerned because she was by herself investigating the haunted mill down there. She said a truck driver name Arnold took her. We checked with him, he did drop her off but there was no sign of her.”

Steve began to panic.”What did she look like? Did she say what her name was?” “Nope, no info on that according to the report. Do you want us to go back there again?” (Police) “No, I’ll handle it. Thank you.” (Steve)

Could it be her? Maybe she’s starting to remember? The cabin was a special place for both of you, not only where you first made love but you were able to spend time with her with no one knowing about it. If she’s out there alone, she’s in incredible danger. “I’ve got to go now!” Steve turned and went back into the conference room.

Coulson was back from contacting the authorities. “We got report from some passengers at a bus terminal they seen a woman in  pj’s. Unfortunately, the description was vague though.” (Coulson) “That could be her. Coulson, take some more agents down to the station and ask around. Report back asap!” (Fury) “Got it.” (Coulson)

Steve pondered telling them about the cabin. Maybe he should go alone. “I need a break. I need some air.” (Steve) Everyone looked and stared. “Go, if anything comes up, I’ll get you.” (Nat) Steve nodded. No one wanted to say anything to Steve until they were sure it was you or about Red Skull’s daughter.

Steve walked out of the room, heading down to the air field. He made sure no one was following him. Once he took off in the Quinjet, it would only be a matter of time before the rest of the Avengers came after him. If he knew she might be there, Crossbones would too. It seems he knew everything about him. “Have to get to her first!”
