i dont lije when people go on about fluffy doves and then theyre thinking about doves tgat purposefully have theur feathers fluffed up.... that means theyre cold......

not always! doves do fluff their feathers up when they are cold as it allows them to create air pockets with their feathers that will keep them warm, but thats not the only reason a dove may fluff up their feathers! they may also do this if they are sick or injured, but also as a sign of relaxation or confort! so no, it is not wrong to assume a dove is happy because its feathers are fluffed up, it all depends on context and the rest of their body language my friend!

OK SO FIRST OFF i see ur vision so clearly……. one trope that will ALWAYS fucking gut me is the image of clean hands reaching out for bloodied ones and that is literally my prince!gojo & knight!reader in a nutshell i think. the devoted bloodied knight x the prince who dirties his own hands to clean them up.. yeah. u Get it.

and and and!! this is so important to me actually bc im genuinely sick in the head when it comes to knights. i love knights so much. and i think the most interesting thing abt them is the fact that being a perfect knight is impossible FOR MANY REASONS but among others its just the idea that a knight should be kind and good and humane juxtaposed with the reality that a knight has to kill whatever — or whoever — they’re told to kill. and for that reason all knights are a little (a Lot) unhinged to me and very much traumatized.

WHICH BRINGS ME TO KNIGHT!READER……. i think they get desensitized to it pretty quickly. their main focus is helping the prince / easing his burden / etc etc, so i think theyre willing to place their duty above their own morals, at least to a certain extent. (they still very much have a hero complex LOL) but but but… it still obviously affects them. and you’re absolutely right — the very first person that they kill will obviously have a huge impact on them.

because knight!reader had such an awful upbringing (before meeting satoru!!) i see them being very empathetic!! w a general desire to do Good. so the idea of them having to kill someone, maybe even someone who’s pleading for their life…. yeah. ough. but i do think theyd try to convince themselves that theyre fine, that satoru comes first, etc etc….. that they’re doing it for Him. so its fine. (but its not.)

and as for satoru’s reaction ohhhh anon u little genius…. i hadnt thought abt it before but!! i do think he’d be worried. my prince!gojo is a bit twisted in certain ways and i doubt he’d care that reader killed someone, or about their victim, but he would care abt the possibility of it affecting them. i think he’s mildly opposed to reader being a knight because of this!! because he knows that knighthood in itself is a daydream that’ll only cause them harm. but he respects their wishes and stays out of it… mostly….. definitely gets upset at whoever ordered them to kill for the first time, but after its happened again and again there isnt much he can do.

he’s very attentive, though!! keeps an eye out. or asks suguru to keep an eye out. just in case. i also firmly believe that he’d insist on cleaning knight!reader up himself <33 i think he enjoys gently wiping the blood off your skin. it’s domestic to him. (he is Not normal)

Hot take but I just read a long post about someone being so upset and angry about the way the other people on empires treat Jimmy Solidarity (pranks, making fun of him, ect) and people in the replies were agreeing and talking about how distraught it makes them and all I can say is you should really stop watching his/others' Empires videos if its making you that upset because I can guarantee that its all in good fun and the man is having a perfectly okay time. He's having fun with his friends, they just like to rag on him. My friends like to rag on me too and it's totally fine, I enjoy it. You're projecting and you're, like, WAY too invested if it's upsetting you like that. You're turning him having fun with his friends into something it's not.

Stop using his videos to make yourself miserable :| Go watch something else instead of being self destructive and then whining about it online when there's not even anything wrong or mean really happening :| I'm so serious when I say that this is chronically online behavior and you need to go talk to a professional because that is Not Normal.

The Autobots are very principles-focused as opposed to the Decepticons' pure pragmatism/utilitarianism, as a general rule. And while you can make a valid argument about how maybe trying to uphold abstract moral principles can lead to unnecessary losses of tangible people and resources, you have to actually argue it with a specific example in which morality came at the cost of outcomes. And not like "Optimus Prime is overly moralizing because he cares more about organics than Cybertronians" as if being willing to inconvenience one's personal war crusade in order to spare innocent lives is some sort of character flaw and not something incredibly selfless and farsighted.

If you have any kind of free roaming pet you have to find a way to integrate their natural needs and habits into your living space. This can range from "baby proofing" certain corners to providing vertical climbing space where your guys can climb/fly.

They're your little fuzzy roommates and they should get to choose some of the furniture!
