So many are asking God WHY?? WHY do we have to endure this or that? WHY is there so much corruption in the world and WHY won’t God just STOP IT?! 💁‍♀️ First of all, He wants to answer your questions, we are to ask, seek, and knock and the door will be open! Matt 7:7, meaning sometimes “the door of knowledge” God is the only one who can truly answer our questions! Too many are relying on the World (Social Media Hype -“Prime example”) and wonder why things are so out of Control! We need to bring God back into the equation! “Seek YE (GOD) FIRST the KINGDOM , and ALL THINGS will be added unto you!” Matt 6:33 God wants a relationship with you! He wants to comfort you when your feeling alone or afraid! Or to help you understand WHY things may have to take place or WHY you may have to wait for your Breakthrough or Miracle, or to help clarify things that don’t make sense! We can’t always understand everything, this is why the scripture tells us to lean not on our own understanding, that His ways are higher than our ways. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; Prov. 3:5 For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so MY WAYS are HIGHER than YOUR WAYS and my THOUGHTS HIGHER than YOUR THOUGHTS. Isaiah 55:9 God gave us something called “free will”, and because of the choices we make, we blame God why the world is a mess!? 🤷‍♀️ God never promised us days without trouble, but He does promise PEACE in the storms, grace and mercy to get us through any situation, and PROTECTION when we’re in danger! Psalm 91 He is our “way-maker”, “Miracle Maker”, our “Prince of Peace” our “Savior and redeemer”, & our Provider. When you feel like there’s nowhere to turn, turn to Jesus, He’s always there! A friend that sticks closer than a brother! “I have told you these things, so that IN ME YOU WILL HAVE PEACE. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD!! Sunday blessings, friends! How can I pray for you this week? 🙏💗 Our economy is not in the best shape and daily provision has become a greater concern than it has been in many years. Times like these can test our faith and even cause us to view spiritual values as “frivolous” in light of practical demands. But Jesus understood these pressures all too well and urged his followers not to lose their sense of true priorities in the midst of them. Poverty abounded in Jesus’s day and daily provision was a real concern for many. While the Roman Empire brought luxuries previously unheard of like highways, trade routes, educational systems, indoor plumbing, and medical advances, most struggled to afford the hefty taxes that allowed for such conveniences. In fact, the majority of people within that society were enslaved and those who were free faced the constant threat of enslavement if their debts were left unpaid. Times may be hard now but not as hard as in Jesus’s day. Still, Jesus urged his followers to trust in God’s provision reminding them of how he feeds the birds who neither sow nor reap. “Are you not of much greater value than these?” (Matthew 6:26) More so than birds and flowers in the field, Jesus assures us that God watches over us and knows our daily needs. But more importantly, Jesus reminds us of the bigger role God has appointed us to play in his heavenly kingdom. “Is not life more than food and the body more than clothes?” There is a higher purpose we have all been created to serve in our time here. People are constantly searching for a way to be happy and to fill the void in their lives. The answer is Jesus. HAPPY LABOR DAY!! 🇺🇸 ***In order to be our best we must enter into rest*** Even God rested on the 7th day! He reflected on all the wonderful things He did!! These days we are so caught up in this fast-paced world, so many of us are working 7 days a week and thinking nothing of it! It may help with finances, but eventually we become burnt out! Burnt out physically & mentally!! Therefore, how can we enjoy all that we work for?! This is how the enemy gets a hold on us! He puts before us this beautiful picture of something he knows we can’t refuse! We get caught up in it, and before we know it we loose sight of reality!! Like that job paying an amazing hourly rate, you have your eyes set already on things you couldn’t have before, but without thinking it through it requires more hours than you expected, harder work and maybe even an exhausting environment! To where you can’t possibly enjoy these things or find the time to!! This is why it’s imperative, to take that much-needed day of rest, as it is a commandment, Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall not do any work, Exodus 20:8-11 God wants us to give him a day, to seek HIM FIRST before our week starts! Seek ye FIRST THE KINGDOM and ALL THINGS WILL BE ADDED UNTO YOU!!
